DRESS WARM… Bundle Up … It’s COLD in there… They must use it for a Meat Locker
or Fur Storage in the off hours.

Best place to go in town! Great entertainment. …that’s free! Fun events, interesting stores, great restaurants. Overall great place to walk around, people watch and enjoy. Even in a rainstorm, it’s a great place to hang out.

I was told this was a great outdoor mall when I moved here a few weeks ago. When I went to check it out, I did not know what the person was talking about who recommended this place. It has a few shops for clothes and furniture, but mostly restaurants, a Whole Foods and a movie theater. The main reason to go here if to eat or to see a movie. Not really a walking around a window shop place.
If you have small children there is a train that takes them around the place. You can hear the bells ringing to the train as you sit and eat outside.
Great coal brick oven pizza place here called Grimaldi’s. I would eat here.

Downtown at the Gardens is one of the best shopping centers in the area, and that says a bunch because it used to be barren.
Located right next to the Garden Mall, this luscious outdoor venue is highly kid friendly. With a wonderful custom made carousel and children’s train as well as open area with live music — you can easily kill a couple hours with friends eating pizza watching the kids run around.

Normally this Cobb theater is our usual theater. We were thoroughly disappointed today when we arrived at the theater, and the guy at the ticket counter gave us the ticket for the movie that had already ended. We go inside, and the usher sends us to that theater with no questions and we sit and wait for 40 minutes. Finally, the movie starts, and it is the movie that was supposed to start AFTER. We finally realize what was going on, luckily, because one of our friends realized it was the opening of another movie he had just seen three weeks ago. We go to customer service, and the lady asks «do you have your ticket stubs? We can’t give you a refund unless you have your ticket stubs!» Even though we had the receipt of purchase. And seriously. Who keeps their ticket stubs anyways? Finally, we got a refund, after being disappointed by 3 different employees. We probably will not revisit this theater unless they seriously get their act together. Worst movie day ever!

This mall has consistently been fairly empty for the past few years, aside from the Cobb movie theatre, Whole Foods, and a few restaurants which are probably keeping it afloat. The stores never seem to stay very long without going out of business, which is a real shame because the actual mall is quite nice and clean. Perhaps having built it next to the Gardens Mall was a mistake because most shoppers likely head there instead. We never come here unless we have a destination in mind, there aren’t enough stores to make it a good place to just ‘walk around’.

I really appreciate outdoor malls. Before Downtown at the Gardens was completed there was a huge sign announcing «Downtown arriving in October» being European I thought it was pretty funny. They did a great job & I enjoy the little shops, good restaurants & big cinema.

I so want to give this place 5 stars. But for goodness sakes, even the Starbucks that was here closed. That’s saying something.
This place had the makings of something fantastic… Nice restraurants, a couple bars, high end shopping, outdoors, movie theater, whole foods… yada yada yada… What’s it missing?
Parking. Its the killer. It can be a PITA to find parking here. I also think they didn’t promote this place like they should have. I did visit often, just sometimes it is a ghost town there. I feel bad for some of the smaller shops here.
Anyway, has the makings for something great. It’s just execution by the developers sucked.

Why don’t more people know about this place? And why isn’t there any parking if it
it’s so empty? Crazy? But they have an urban outfitters, lots of yummy restaurants, an awesome candy store, a train that rides around for kids, yogurt and ice cream stores, a swoozies. and more. highly recommend going there!

The last time I came here, the place was dead. However, many new shops have opened and we could barely get a parking space! My family and I watched a light show, ate dinner, and we have seen movies here as well. Really a great place to kill an afternoon, and very family friendly — they have two candy shops and a fro-yo place. Also, lots of restaurants, Urban Outfitters, Izod and a handful of other shops.

Really cute nice area to relax in — it’s building up there– and there are many more stores here now than three months ago when I was here for a photo-shoot. Cute as heck pet store too with tiny sweaters for the Yorkie —
Carousel is a nice added touch to the ambiance. :)

This is a fun place to walk around and if you have children there are quiet a few opportunities to have fun with them just as in Chuey’s review. A Latte Fun is a blast, as is the carousel — even if the host was a bit dull and not fun. But the mall itself is a great place to go walk around. There is even a car dealership area where they were selling vehicles. There are a variety of stores including an outdoor furniture and garden supply store which I love walking around in, it’s reminiscent of a Crate and Barrel store.
There are also some lively places to go to a night including the movies and they also boast a Whole Foods on one side. It’s a fun little place to go if you ask me. We enjoyed it. Just avoid the really hot days.

Good food and great service during the week but on a weekend it was slow and disorganized. Hostesses had no idea what they were doing and were not calling tables in order. Meanwhile there were several empty tables which had been cleared. Would not come back on a weekend until it’s better managed

ever since this center was purchased by BERMAN ENTERPRISES it has undergone an amazing transformation. the BERMANS are visionary. they turned DOWNTOWN into a place you come to DO something instead of a place to come BUY something.
they started by adding a carousel near A LATTE FUN. this is an indoor (sort of) inflatable gym for small children with a coffee house attached for the parents. LATTE FUN now offers babysitting. if the paretns want to go to dinner or the movies… leave the kids here. BRILLIANT IDEA. in «carousel courtyard» is also a self serve frozen yogurt shop FRO YOTOPIA, a paint your own pottery place and a kids haircut shop.
one of my favorite restaurants PARIS IN TOWN is opening its 2^nd location here very shortly. 3 new restaurants have opened in the past few weeks… DIRTY MARTINI, CLUB 51 AND GRIMALDI’S PIZZA.
this shopping center is becoming the new «it» destination in palm beach. there is something for every age group here. and let’s not forget COBB THEATER.
oh and on the weekends… there is always some sort of live entertainment. see you there/111
