I have been going to Joseph’s since day one. I have used their catering services plus every dept in the store. Customer service is always excellent and informed. I love their prepared tuna and chicken salad. Their prepared cooked meals are also great. True Italian food but also surprisingly other different nationality foods. My family and friends have all become fans and when my Georgia family comes in, it always means a trip to Josephs. As an original New Yorker this is a little piece of heaven. My Italian born family also shop there. I will continue to shop there several times a week as long as they remain their BTW this is the only place I will purchase fresh raw Tuna. It is always very fresh and no fishy smell. Also try their awesome cranberry nut stuffing when they have it. Infact try everything and you will have found a secret gem hidden in a small shopping area and a né place for delishish fresh and tasty food.

Wow! Excellent Service and great atmosphere! Great specials. We just got back from a vacation in Italy and the food brought us back.

Management is a joke… Publix has much better service. Pizza was tasteless When you ask for the manager, takes forever. It’s done on purpose because they don’t want to hear People complaining.

Update: I received a message from John A., business owner, not even 10 minutes after posting my review. I rated from 1 star to 3 stars because I’m impressed at the immediate and considerate attention to my experience. I feel this is worth mentioning because to get this type of response from an owner and/or manager of any business after a bad experience is rare. Thank you John. WON’T RETURN! Second visit only. This review is nothing against the food here. This review is about the customer service. The cashiers are nice ENOUGH I suppose. Went in to order the Dinner for 1. I ordered the exact same thing I did 2 days ago(penne alla vodka, mac & cheese, parm potatoes). She looked annoyed that I even asked and told me she’s not allowed to do that because they’re all sides. First of all I thoguht penne alla vodka an entrée along with the rest of the entrees in the same showcase. I proceeded to tell her I wasn’t aware because I ordered the same things 2 days before without a problem and she let out a long loud«UGH! This is just what I was told!» So I asked for a single serving of penne, she only filled half and scolded«Is that enough?!» Seriously lady? Screw you! I just bought it because I just wanted to go home. I can order better food elsewhere without getting scolded at.

Really great selection on Pizza, the crust and sauces are perfect! Sometimes in wanting a lighter fare, I will have a salad, nice varieties and selection, prices are reasonable too, I like the store, it has a cozy feel to it, when I walk in everything is right there, and within easy reach.

Let me say first, that this market is true to its core! It gives you an amazing warm Italian market feel the moment you walk in. From the smell of fresh pizzas in the oven to the assorted pre made foods. No to mention the fantastic bakery and great butcher shoppe and fish. This place has it all from soup to nuts and the people who work there are the best! They treat you like family and will help you in anyway they can! One of my favorite things is the fresh chicken and they make fantastic homemade Italian sausage soooo good! Once you experience the look and feel of Joseph’s market you will be back! It’s refreshing to see an old school family market true to its roots, giving the public a chance to steer away from the monopoly we call Publix.

Good quality steaks, but the counter guy has no idea how big an inch is. Cut them at 2 inches rather than 1. Worked out well for them, I guess. Aside from that, the salads and stuff were complete garbage. Vegetables barely cooked, hardly any seasoning, totally uninspired. You’d do better at Publix. I don’t come to South Florida often… but when I do I won’t buy anything else from this place. Cook it better yourself, this is junk.

This is a great market — the selection, quality, and freshness of the produce, fish, and meat departments are excellent. The cakes and pastries are terrific as is the pizza; especially the Sicilian. We’ve shopped here many times and would definitely recommend!

After talking with a local about the competition from another Italian market. I popped in about 30 minutes or so before closing and walked around to check out the scene. and it was beautiful! LOL! Tons of fresh veggies, homemade sauces, cheeses, and the butcher block… amazingness! The meat and seafood looked extremely fresh. The pizza by the slice looked good and the bakery had a large selection of options The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I did not have enough time to purchase anything for tasting. However, the next time I’m in the area I will for sure go back and sample some of this and some of that :)

Stopped by to get information about catering. Everyone from catering, to the ladies behind the food counters were incredibly hospitable. I have never been so impressed with a grocery store!

Very disappointed in their service this holiday. I have been ordering platters for holidays & parties for years from Joseph’s & this is the first time I have ever had a problem! I ordered a large antipasto platter for the holiday. In the past their antipasto platter has ALWAYS been the assorted meats, cheeses, & veggies. This year I got tomato & mozzarella! I did not order a caprese platter! When I brought it to the attention of the girl who brought my food out I was told that this is what their antipasto platter is. When I tried to tell her it wasn’t I was told that if I didn’t like it I could leave it! I paid $ 84.99 for mozzarella & tomatoes!!! I feel ripped off & insulted! If you cannot handle that many holiday orders then why do you take them??? I am going in to talk to a manager on Monday.

The catering services is horrible. I called days before my event to find that they didn’t have any order for me that day. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and spoke to 3 people. Very unreliable and rude.

This is a charming place. It’s a market setting that often plays Sinatra music. I did come in once when an accordion player was there. Very Italian! Food is great! Prices are about even or slightly higher than Publix. There’s lots of ready made meals. If you need a good choice of wine, ask Frank. He’s a real sweetheart and knows his wines. My only tiny complain is around the pizza section. Those guys are wonderful. It’s always packed when I try to get a calzone, so the poor fellas are working extra hard and there’s a bit of a wait. Well worth the wait but help those guys out.

So this is the original Joseph’s, and I now have to drive half an hour to get here because unfortunately, the Western Community residents weren’t smart enough to shop at the one that recently closed in Royal Palm Beach. It’s pretty much exactly the same food and for that I am grateful! Hormel DiLusso salami, the New York style potato salad, and the macaroni salad are my favs, but there are just so many things here that are awesome. I will gladly drive here for the Joseph’s mini frozen ravioli, and Pastosa of course. PLEASEDON’T CLOSE!!!

Why has it taken me this long to stop by Joseph’s? It may be totally out of the way from my home, but definitely worth the trip. I occasionally go to Rorabeck’s on Military just south of Northlake, and I had a coupon for Joseph’s so I finally stopped by. I would describe Joseph’s as very similar to Fresh Market. It’s smaller than Whole Foods, but provides all the essentials at lower prices. I spent the first 15 minutes just walking around and looking at all they had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised at the different service areas they had for meats, subs, prepared foods, pizza, salads, olive bar, etc. Between the low prices on produce at Rorabeck’s and decent prices on meats and everything else at Joseph’s, this just might be my new shopping routine!

I love Joseph’s. I feel a bit guilty since Whole Foods opened near me as I have shopped at Joseph’s less, but I actually find more to buy at J’s. Love the meat and fish depts. Guys behind counter always friendly(well, almost always). Two years in a row we have ordered their Beef Wellington for our Christmas Eve dinner, all ready to pop in oven and truly delicious. Love the Tiramisu, love the Ciabatta bread, love that they carry Tate’s cookies and Grandma’s coffee cakes. Oh, and I’ve noticed their ground beef is several dollars less than at Whole Foods. Beware weekends in season and holidays– parking lot a mad house!
