Excellent menu for next staff. Really enjoyed our evening here in the ambience is outstanding. I only recommend the piano player.

It’s really more about the experience than the food, although the food is excellent. The staff is superbly professional. Warm without being unctuous, polished. You’re not going to be asked«how is everything» you’re going to be observed and if you have a passing thought that you would like something, magically someone will appear. If you’re towards the end of your meal you might be asked if you’d like a half glass of wine. Even the piano player is just right. It’s not trendy. Not a pork belly, piece of candied bacon or taco to be found. Thank God. Be forewarned, you will spend a lot of money. But it’s worth it.

Ok I dine all over the US and like to bring my own fine wine to share with friends I brought in 2 bottle and asked if they do corkage and they said yes and I expect to pay They charged $ 75 per with is ludicrous — OK I am in Palm beach but this is insane. Never again!!!

My third visit and still a very satisfied diner! Went with a large group(20) and was impressed with their ability to place all the hot entrees at the about same time(last 2 came out within 5 minutes). Most people ordered seafood on the menu and were delighted with both the presentational and taste of the dishes. I ordered the lobster salad which was light on the dressing and the combination of the grapefruit, oranges and avocado worked well. My sea bass had a nice crisp crust and perfectly juicy flesh. The sea bass wasp resented on a bed of cauliflower purée and brocolini that was delicious as well. We preordered their chocolate soufflé and it was served steaming hot. Absolutely devine! My friend who was seated next to me ordered thir chicken entrée and was very satisfied as well. They were very busy but the servers were friendly and everything was done with celerity!

Outdated menu, the pastas are underwhelming. For these prices, youd expect something fresh and different. Not dover sole from another continent. How about local fish?

One of my favorite dining spots. You can’t go wrong here. Expensive and worth it. Lots of class and charm. The service from valet to wait staff is over the top. The food is to die for. I love the room, and the bar is great too, where you can dine in and enjoy piano music nightly. I can’t think of anything I would change.

Not a very fan of the decoration. Yes they tried to do like the french«brasseries», maybe the brasseries of the 18th century… Not even the brasseries look like this in France nowadays. BUT. Food & service are A+

The service was impeccable! The atmosphere was so fantastic! The piano music in the background made the evening feel so New York(and I am a New Yorker). Dinner was so delicious from the Foie Gras to the Butternut Squash Ravioli’s…just absolutely perfect! To be in such a beautiful restaurant and yet have such a relaxed feel can only make for a wonderful evening. The Maitre D is so delightful and he made us feel so welcome! This is a place to go and have a most memorable evening! One of my favorites!

We celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday with dinner at café L’Europe tonight and had a five star experience. The service was beyond compare. From the maître D’s greeting us to the service from the waiter, it was a first class experience. The crab stack and coconut shrimp appetizer was excellent. The veal milanese entrée that my girlfriend had was the best we had ever tasted. The filet mignon with horse radish mashed potatoes were also off the charts. For desert we had the crème brûlée and the chocolate raspberry torte and we both savored every bite. To top it all off, the maitre D brought us some house chocolate rum balls as a special treat that were amazing. What a great experience! We can’t wait to go back!

This is a treasure of Palm Beach. The owner, Norbert, has been in the kitchen ensuring the quality they are known for over a number of decades. The bar, run by Joy, is the quintessential local experience. If you haven’t enjoyed this restaurant, you haven’t experienced Palm Beach.

It was like stepping into Gatsby’s dining room! At first I felt very out of place. This was not the trendy New York restaurant I was used to. I was afraid that I would be seen as someone who wasn’t high class because I dressed as if I was going to a trendy restaurant rather then a very fancy one. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful waiters who joked with us and made me feel like I was back home on the east coast. My food was amazing and I loved it so much that at the end, I felt beyond full. The desserts were also delightful! The sampler platter was gigantic! Overall it was a wonderful experience! If you want a Gatsby experience, you’ll get one!

Absolutely perfect. Café L’Europe is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to dine. Located in Palm Beach, it truly lives up to the lifestyle. Bruce and his team are wonderful to say the least. Fantastic service and to die for food. Always wrap up your exquisite dinner with the finest deserts. I recommend the Millionaire’s Chocolate. Absolutely delicious. Bruce and the entire staff, keep it up! You set the standards for dining in Palm Beach.

So horrible. Omg I was there with a party of 6 people for my friends birthday. We were all at the bar having drinks((not just hanging out we were spending money)) well the bartender KERRI comes to us and says«I have customers that want to sit at the bar and eat so if you guys dont mind you have to move» … Ummmm EXCUSE me??? What??? Did that really happen? We were already there, 6 people already sitting, spending money, and you tell us to move… Yeah, real classy Kerri… Never going back

Great service and food. The best thing about Café L’Europe is the plates. Grandma’s fanciest china cabinet has nothing on this place! Felt bad getting crumbs on these plates. Really liked how there were 4 – 5 special each had a wine paired with it. Also liked the piano man. It is not a large room but there is a grand piano with a very skilled piano player. He played a little mapleleaf rag, a very complicated and tough piece for piano players to learn. He covered some beatles, added a lot of extra notes, very impressive. A well behaved giant poodle sits under the piano wearing a stylish collar. This is definitely one of the top 5 places to eat in palm beach.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! It was our wedding night and we were celebrating with our children a moment that will be with us forever. The customer service we received was unbelievable. I actually thought they had confused us with the Royal Family of England! We received treatment that I’ve never experienced at a restaurant before. We were immediately seated in a private dining area(with reservation, naturally), and were served our drinks and made to feel very welcome. A dedicated server or two made sure our every request was fulfilled. The food was equally impressive. The ambiance was superb as well. At the end of our dinner, we were served dessert plates inscribed with«Congratulations» in chocolate. Our experience at Café L’Europe was certainly one of the highlights of our wedding day and I am delighted that they made it an unforgettable experience for us all.

Very pretty restaurant. The service equals the décor. As you walk in, you are greeted by a piano player with music. Nice bar to wait in if your table isn’t ready. We had a round table of 12 and was a great option for our family. The linens, silverware and plates were nice quality. White lights and flowers were a nice touch. The food was delicious. All of of us loved our choices. I had the duck and it was perfectly prepared. Served with marinated cabbage(sounds bad, but it was good!) a bing cherry bread pudding cake. Portion size is large. My appetizer was amazing. Bacon wrapped dates. Others had various salads as appetizers. Other main courses were scallops, liver and onions, weiner schnitzel, and a seafood pasta. My only complaint is that the chairs are casual bistro style, and not comfortable at all.

PARTIALREVIEW Drink: –Café L’Europe offers a fairly substantial International wine bible for bottles and about 40 or so varieties by the glass, most of which are sourced from California, France and Italy. While they don’t have an official cocktail menu, their fully stocked bar can accommodate all of the American classics. –As we awaited the evening’s menu, we started things off with an Old Fashioned for him, and a Mint Julep for myself. Old Fashioned Mint Julep We found both drinks to be a little on the watery side. The Old Fashioned suffered from too much crushed and therefore melting ice, while I found the Julep was just a bit too sweet. –We soon moved onto wine, which meant a glass of 2011 Dr. Loosen Mosel Riesling from Germany($ 10.40), a half bottle of 2009 Plumpjack Cab Sauvignon from Napa($ 95), and 2 oz of a ’98 Château D’Yquem Sauternes from France($ 60). Everything(especially our favourite dessert wine) was well enjoyed with the food. Food: –Café L’Europe’s dinner menu features old school upscale cuisine inspired by various regions around the world. Think Wiener Schnitzel, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Spaghetti Bolognese, Lobster Risotto, Scottish Smoked Salmon and Sirloin Steak. It’s bit of a mixed bag, but this way, there’s always something for all of their worldly clients. From peaking at their regular menu, I can see that prices tend to run around $ 12.50−29.50 for an appetizer, and $ 37 – 52 for a main course. –On Christmas Eve, the restaurant was running a prefixe three course meal for $ 120 a person, with 7 appetizer options, 6 main choices and a trio of sweets for dessert. One also had the option to add on one of four caviar options, which obviously, we couldn’t resist. Farmed Russian Amur River Beluga Caviar(1 oz for $ 120) Served with the most delicate little blinis and toasts, and all the traditional fixings(herbs, onion, sour cream, lemon, grated egg white and yolk), the caviar was deliciously buttery, addictively salty and offered a satisfying pop. Roasted Butternut Squash Soup Caramelized Apples, Cinnamon Foam A comforting, hearty soup. I loved the luxurious smooth texture with the sweet tender bits of caramelized apples and the bakery scented foam on top. Super comforting. Fresh Chilled Main Lobster Salad Mache, Pink Grapefruit Sections, Avocado, Carrot-Ginger Dressing A solid, classic salad, though, I did find that the acidity and bitterness of the grapefruit overwhelmed the delicate shellfish a bit. Maybe adding a little something with some natural sweetness could have helped balance all that citrus out. Roasted Crispy Christmas Duckling Red Cabbage, Cranberry Bread Dumpling, Bing Cherry Brandy Sauce Absolutely delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly, rendering succulent meat and a wickedly crispy skin that went beautifully with the boozy, fruity sauce. The dumpling(which was kind of like a holiday stuffing) was also super comforting and tasty. My only criticism would be that the red cabbage was a little too acidic. Don’t get me wrong, I love acidic foods, but just breathing it in made me cough a bit. Sauteed Cervena Venison Chop and Sliced Venison Loin House Spaetzle, Celeriac Purée, Spiced White Wine Poached Lady Apple with Lingonberries, Red Cabbage, Brussels Sprouts, Sauce Veneur The venison was cooked to a beautifully tender consistency, while it’s mild gaminess paired well with the sweet-tart fruit sauce and the nutty celeriac purée. I also loved the satisfying chew of the spatzle, which I think is a totally underappreciated starch. I would be happy with a dish like this any time of year. Trio of Christmas Favourites Lemon Raspberry Cream Buche de Noël; Apple, Cranberry and Apricot Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream; Pecan Heath Bar Crunch Tart with White Chocolate Cocoa Anglaise Simple desserts but all quite tasty. The lemon raspberry jelly roll cake was ethereally light in juxtaposition with the dense and chewy nut bar. My favourite, however, was the simple crumble which featured a bright and fresh filling to juxtapose the creamy cool ice cream. Closing Remarks: –For 2 prefixe meals, 1 caviar course, 2 cocktails, a glass of wine, a half bottle, and a glass of dessert wine, the bill came to $ 700 including tax and tip. Was it worth it? Well considering I had many Michelin Star meals abroad for much less, I can’t really say that it was. Mind you, we could have cut the cost in half had we avoided the pricy wine and caviar, but the caviar was probably our favourite part –In conclusion, Café L’Europe proved itself to be pretty much exactly what I had expected– old school simple food done well, served in a swanky yet comfortable atmosphere, by professional yet personable staff. What made it an experience was not so much the restaurant, but rather, the fellow patrons around us. If you enjoy a good people watching experience(especially during the holidays), and don’t mind paying the upcharge for it, then Café L’Europe is the place for you.

Probably one of the most elegant and refined restaurants on the island, with unique old world charm and a cozy but not stuffy atmosphere. Tremendous attention to detail from the staff to the china and the silverware. Perfect setting to celebrate a special occasion. The menu is eclectic with a wide variety of choices and superb presentation. The piano player has a tremendous repertoire and he does take special requests. Dining at its finest but be prepared to shell out a pretty penny.
