Chef Clay has hit this out of the park. The sushi is super fresh, innovative and fun. The wait staff is tremendously friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend the fried rice and all the special nigiri. Go and enjoy.

Great food quality, lively environment. Sit at the bar if you can and enjoy watching the chef making some Nigiris. You must try the Seared Blue Fin Toro, Lobster Ceviche and the Blue fin Toro with Caviar. Delicious!!!

Sitio excelente, servicio muy bueno, comida A1, un poco pequeño para grandes grupos, el cual fue mi caso, buena combinación de alimentos y bebidas, luz tenue y muy íntimo… buena opción en Palm Beach.

This is the best sushi in Palm Beach County without question, and is far better than the sushi most anywhere else you will try it. This restaurant will ruin Nobu for you. It is not close. Plus, the atmosphere makes it the number one choice for locals during season and otherwise. It is not to be missed. My number one reservation in writing this review is I don’t want more people to discover this jewel.

Go during happy hour if you are able — we stuffed our faces with delicious sushi and cocktails for less than $ 40 per person. Limited variety of sushi, but the quality is good and their non-sushi appetizers are yummy, especially the pork buns.

My date and I came here by accident. We were actually trying to go to Buccan, which is right next door. They’re actually owned by the same owner, Clay Conley. I have no idea how we did it, but we managed to order cocktails and an appetizer before we realized we were at the wrong restaurant! The setting here is very intimate. The lighting is dim. You will be sitting at close tables. It’s cozy. It was a packed house that night. A few groups sharing the small plates. I only was able to try the Peking Duck Tacos with plum sauce since we did end up going to Buccan. They were phenomenal! It was just the right amount of fatty duck balanced with sweet plum sauce. It came with four tacos that were served skewered on a plate. This is what I expect when I think«Asian fusion.» Staff was very friendly and attentive. When we explained that we had thought we were at Buccan, they were very understanding. Our server even asked us if we wanted him to check at Buccan about our reservation.

I tried: Kimchee fried rice Peking duck tacos Tuna Tartare«Yukke» Fluke Sashimi Chipotle and Soy Marinated Chicken Thigh Big Eye Tuna Nigriri The«Bucann» drink Grown up cookies and milk The décor of the restaurant makes it very casual but the service i received was a ten. The place was packed. It’s very popular, its a place to be seen. It draws the attention of celebrities in the area, I sat next to Jimmy Buffet. As a sashimi and nigiri lover I was very excited for this dinner. While the quality of the fish was good, it was not as good to some restaurants in LA where I live like Sugar Fish. The orange they bring you between dinner and desert is a good palette cleanser. Kimchee fried rice– the sauce makes the rice jump Peking duck tacos-ORDER, they’re great. Quack all the way to your palette Tuna Tartare«Yukke”-this was tuna tartare served with a quail egg. The tuna to quail ratio was far off. Disappointing Fluke Sashimi– loved the truffle ponzu sauce. This restaurant defiantly understood how to incorporate the underlying Palm beach truffle atmosphere into the menu Chipotle and Soy Marinated Chicken Thigh– lettuce wraps, chicken isn’t shredded so easier to eat than usual Big Eye Tuna Nigriri– basic The«Bucann» drink-very good. Recommend for a vodka drink Grown up cookies and milk– warm cookies dipped into liqueur-y milk While the service was good in some aspects, the dinner was very rushed. The wait staff does not comprehend leisure. This can be a good or bad thing depending if you’re there to relax or get a meal. But as one of the popular restaurants in Palm beach, they gotta get people in and out.

Coming from NYC one thing you have to understand about FL sushi is that most of it sucks, especially in PBC. You really have to go to Miami for the good stuff. Imoto is the exception. Salmon, Tuna and Toro is extremely fresh. They must get it from Miami. Lobster Cerviche was the one exception. Definitely pricey but with it. The hot stuff comes from next door at Buccan. The hot mushrooms were amazing. The ribs not so much. All the rolls were spot on. Stick to the sushi and sashimi and you’ll be very happy here.

Was taken here on a post valentines day date. The food was absolutely fantastic. We started with the lobster sashimi. The lobster was so fresh and sweet. I was very surprised buy the quality. The edemame was crunchy and flavorful, duck tacos were so yummy. They were my dates favorite thing on the menu. Next we had the rock shrimp, which were like little chunks of heaven! The spicy mayo and soy Sauce were great compliments! Last but certainly not least were the seared tuna and fois gras sliders. These were the MOSTPHENOMENALTHINGS I HAVEPUTINMYMOUTHIN A LONGTIME! The bun was slightly grilled with butter which paired with the buttery fois gras & tuna. honestly that was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! We will for sure be back!

I went in to this restaurant with really high expectations and perhaps set myself up for failure. Part of the problem was that as I was making the reservation for Imoto, I was looking at the posted menu which was actually for their sister restaurant Buccan(which is excellent!). I went in expecting squid ink orchiette and found myself lost. Overall I thought the dishes were good, but overpriced and a tad pretentious. Not much wowed me and that made me a bit sad. One dish I do have to mention is the tuna foie gras slider, which was delicious and the highlight of the evening. Also, for this being a Japanese/sushi restaurant, I thought they had a limited number of sushi rolls to choose from and those that made it on the menu lacked originality.

This place is outstanding. Each small plate was bursting with flavor. The sushi/sashimi was so fresh that it melted in your mouth. Great atmosphere! We tasted the kimchi fried rice, the duck tacos, the grilled octopus the tuna tataki. all were excellent in addition to the sushi.

We eat sushi all over the world and Imoto hits it on all fronts! Fish was fresh and light(an absolute must for any sushi restaurant) — the creative balance of the spices and sauces the Master accentuated the freshness of the fish without masking the fresh fish taste(something other sushi places do to hide the mediocre quality of the fish). The service simply was stupendous — something rare these days! Imoto gladly welcomed our off menu ordering(a major must of any sushi aficionado and a huge peeve when not accomodated). Our server Patricia was as friendly and attentive as one could be without hovering over us(which can be annoying) — and she was delightfully supported by the support staff of bussers and cocktail servers. Although a small venue, the atmosphere was trendy and hip — including the upbeat music(without being too loud and obnoxious). Plus, its a place you have to know as there is no sign on the front — word of mouth is their advertising — the best advertising there is. Imoto is simply the best sushi venue in Palm Beach(including West Palm) — fish, atmosphere, and service!

I came in for dinner with some colleagues, and I felt like Jenny Clampett when I saw the menu. It was pretty pricey. As it turned out, our boss happened to be there at the same time and very generously paid our tab. I totally should have ordered more sushi. That being said: the food was absolutely incredible. I opted for a california roll and imoto salad. It was the first california roll I’ve ever had that actually had crab in it(instead of the somewhat less palatable«krab»). The service was great, and the restaurant was beautiful! It is not conducive to having casual cocktails as it can be a little cramped, but its sister restaurant next door, Buccan, is great for drinks. I had a lovely evening in Buccan and Imoto, and felt like I got an interesting Palm Beach experience.

We drove a while to get here from our hotel because the reviews were totally hyped up. We wanted to check it out for ourselves. The place had street parking and it’s located in a circle/plaza shared by other small establishments. I think this was connected to Buccan because their receipt stated Buccan but their menu was Imoto. It was kind of confusing. Split personality? Anyways, their food was okay. Nothing great about it. Their menu lacked variety, only a very few choices. They were trying to have a fusion of some sort, but I’ve been to a lot of better Sushi joints in California compared to this place. It’s a pricey restaurant.
