if you like to inhale lots of second hand smoke, sit outside in the beautiful courtyard. I asked why they cannot segregate the patio into two areas: smoking and non-smoking and got a shrug in response. Nor were we offered another table away from the neighboring chain smoker. Food is ok, fairly priced with attentive service. Next time I’ll sacrifice the beutiful setting and eat inside.

The lobster bisque was average. It had great flavor but not one piece of lobster. The pizza was undercooked. We could pull off individual shreds of mozzarella on the pepperoni pie. That should never happen. The burrata pie had generous amounts of burrata but unfortunately is was not the best quality. It was lumpy and slightly gritty. The sauce was flavorless. On to dessert, the key lime pie was decent. My only comment is that the graham cracker crust had a bitterness to it almost as if there were dark chocolate in it. Very strange. The staff was very friendly and the wine selection by the glass was awesome. The brunello was delicious.

One star for atmosphere and service. Minus three for food that borders on deeply depressing. If you want to appreciate the grayness that is your life, you should come here. I can only imagine that the other reviewers(and definitely the owners) have never had pizza before. Let me help. The sauce is usually made with things called seasonings, like maybe garlic or oregano. Commonly basil is used on pizza. Not here though, no! Here it is dumped unlovingly, no doubt from a can marked in large, generic letters as «tomato sauce.» It is also usually cooked in a way such that the crust and the cheese turn brown(assuming the cheese is real cheese and not rubber in a bag, like it is here), and not, in fact until it becomes a pile of soup. If you want to be fancy, like a place that chooses to charge $ 20 for said pizza, you should consider toppings that do not come from cans, especially mushrooms which become slimy and tasteless. You may want to consider paying less than bottom dollar for your flour(it shows). I would also like to recommend the investigation of something called a «dough retarder,» which adds flavor and chew to a crusty which otherwise has none. No one, not even home cooks in a hurry, should rapid rise pizza dough. I feel like I was fooled into paying top dollar for cafeteria pizza. I am so sad that this was my last meal in West Palm. I have, however, nothing but compliments for the staff. The hostess was pleasant, my bar tender was kind and the other employees were nice and expedient.

This is our second trip to pizza Al Fresco. For good reason. We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and wanted to eat quickly. The attention to detail and overall service was fantastic. The wine list was extensive and salads /pizza could not have been better. The courtyard seating was terrific and we were finished within an hour. Bravo !!!

The outside is really nice and the inside is alright and also they have a very comfortable bench and once again the service is nice so that deserves 4 stars. The food comes out really quick so for the appetizer I ordered was the mozzarella and tomato it has a big pow once you put it in to your mouth but the taste is phenomenal so that disservice 2 more stars but I can’t add more but if I could I would add 2 more but I can’t. So here is my food so what I ordered was a pizza so I didn’t order any greens on my pizza and its not even cooked enough and the cheese just falls off it and the flavor is not so good. So now I’m going to eat the salmon because the pizza wasn’t so good. So the salmon is not that good either it didn’t taste like a fresh salmon it more tasted like a fish tank. I wouldn’t go to this place for food so I don’t really like this restaurant so I’m going to an other restaurant after this. So in all this is 6 stars not really for the food but the decorations.

Hidden gem. I have enjoyed Pizza Al Fresco for over 8 years now(I think since they opened). You can tell that all of their ingredients are incredibly fresh. All their servers are very polite and quick.

This place is well worth seeking out. The food is over the top and the service mirrors that of the finest restaurant in Palm Beach. You can tell the staff loves their job an does their best to give customers an experience above their expectations. Pizza is great with some unique combinations however their entrees are as good as any restaurant. Atmosphere is fantastic with the outside courtyard seating or they have indoor as well. Prices are very reasonable. Can’t wait to get back there again.

Hidden gem for sure. After a bike ride on Lake Trail, we stopped for a lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the calamari and it was amazing, complimented by a great tasting tomato sauce. The pizza with sausage and peppers was incredible and so was the mushroom pizza. Of course, last but not least the tiramisu which was a hit with this family. Will be back!

This is one of our favorite hidden gems in Palm Beach. Service and good are both wonderful. Atmosphere is casual and romantic. Stop by and ask for Javier!

If you want to splurge, this is the place to do it in a sort of casual atmosphere. They have outdoor seating which is a courtyard surrounded by palm trees under the night sky with original Mizner architecture all around. You automatically feel like you’re transported to Venice or some café in Italy. Even though it is a casual atmosphere they have a wonderful selection of wines to choose from from unknown wineries to world famous. The food is also amazing and always cooked to order. It is crazy how fast they are able to produce a meal in such short time while keeping quality. Lastly, the sheer volume of choices to choose from on the menu are insane. They’re much more than a pizza place, they’re an Italian restaurant and now a staple in Palm Beach!

I think the courtyard setting helps to add to the meal’s enjoyment. The menu has a limited number of entrée offerings, but that is supplemented by a handful of specials. The pizza list is extensive, and innovative. Our party of nine were very much pleased with our choices… which included starters, pizzas, and a couple of entrees, and desserts. The only complaints I heard were that the meatballs were not as tender or tasty as they could have been. Service was attentive, friendly, and professional. The wine list has a couple of moderately priced bottle, but only a few… before prices ramp upward. On balance we enjoyed our dinner experience, and will return.

Service and outdoor seating is very nice. But if you’re coming here for great pizza, wrong place. The specialty pizza al fresco seemed like the right choice here. So disappointed in the crust… seriously lacking flavor… taste like matzoh. The prosciutto would have been so much better if sliced thinner like it should be. Sauce was lacking flavor. We were very disappointed in this pizza.

We feel like we’re back in Italy here. Great food and beautiful patio area. The staff is refreshingly unpretentious. This is kind of hidden in one of the many romantic little alley’s off Worth Ave. Highly recommend this little gem of a spot.

The cheesecake changed my life. I see the world differently now. The pizza was solid. The rosé was money. On a scale of 1 to cheesecake, I’d give them a 7 and an 8, respectively. I am having cheesecake withdrawals as I write this review. On my deathbed I will advise my grandson if he does one thing he must get that cheesecake.

Location and environment is amazing! The seafood pizza is very fresh with shrimp and scollop for topping! I give it 5 start for the nice environment! And the front desk lady is very pretty!

Monday dinner with husband and my parents. Mediocre Caesar salads for three of us. I had mediocre eggplant rolatini appetizer. Husband loved his fish(sauce on the side). Mother was happy with her fish. Father ordered calves liver(personally, I am a veg, so I find this horrible, but I digress), it was so tough and over cooked, he sent it back. He was brought another one. It was barely edible. He had mild food poisoning later on. We assume the meat was not fresh, as this is not something most people order in a pizza establishment. If it is on the menu, it should be fresh! Manager handled the situation properly, and took dish off our bill. Would give 1.5 stars for the good fish and professional manager. We would never return.

Wonderful spot to stop for a bite while frequenting the shops and galleries in the area. We enjoyed our meal in the courtyard which afforded us some great people watching(ya know, if you’re into that sort of thing). The soup of the day was lentil — nothing special but still good. The obvious stars of this restaurant(besides the locals who are quite an attractive and interesting crowd) are the thin crust pizzas. We tried two different pies: The Santa Sicilia which includes both portobello and oyster mushrooms as well as truffle oil served atop a wheat crust. Also, the Dello Chef which includes crumbled sausage, broccoli rabe and roasted garlic. Both were absolutely delicious! In hindsight, I should have skipped the soup and saved room for more pizza. Ah well… The coffee and bellini’s were excellent as well. Overall, a lovely alfresco dining experience in Palm Beach.

I know everyone knows how great this place is for lunch and dinner, Javier and the crew go out if their way to make you feel welcome no matter how crazy busy they are, but I am writing this to alert all people in Palm Beach to the best kept morning secret in town — BREAKFASTATPIZZAALFRESCO! If you want to feel like your living in paradise and want to start your day like a real millionaire even if your not, have breakfast in this delightful little hideaway off of Worth Avenue in Via Mizner. They make all you breakfast favorites, eggs any style you like, fresh fruit, french toast and Belgium waffles! Yummmmm So next time your looking for a great way to start your day with ocean breezes under the palms, check out this fantastic place!

Excellent pizza! All the ingredients are fresh and uniquely put together. Expect to pay about 20 dollars for a small pizza. This place is tucked away in an ally away from street view but it’s worth finding. Very yummy!
