Steak ‘n Shake

Yuck! I love Steak n Shake but this one is DIRTY. Everything from the tables to the floors was dirty. The bathroom looked/​smelled like it had never been clean. The place was packed so our food was cold. Will not return to this location!

i am giving one atar because tney didnt even oppen their doors. there was a open 24 hours sigh on the door as they looked into my soul and walked away. shame on lord of burger

Extremely slow drive thru service and take out! Just wanted a milkshake… I’ve been waiting 20 minutes now. Unacceptable. It’s 3:30 in the afternoon.

Well, I usually expect to get fast but not good food, or good but not fast food. Here, not fast and not good. Other than milkshakes (which I don’t drink), what exactly is the appeal of S&S?

Just left after waiting in an empty place for anyone to come wait on us. 5 staff standing in the service area, I motioned to one of them she ignored us. Table for two came in and sat, order taken, and drinks delivered, still no service. Got up and left! Went down the road to the Outback. 1^st time we ever got bad service at a Steak and Shake! Very disappointed!

LOVE Steak ‘n Shake, it is cheap, quick, great with kids. The guacamole burger is awesome, the skinny fries are perfect. Pity the shakes are too sweet. I have been to other steak ‘n shake that weren’t as good. That’s the best steak ‘n shake I have been to!

Two of the worst dining experiences of my life. Tried it twice when we moved to Palm Coast two years ago. First time had drinks with in 10 minutes, 45 minutes later we had no food and asked waitress to find out what’s going on. She said there was a big party in front of us and the kitchen was backed up. We told her we were here at least 20 minutes before the big party. Manager finally came over and told us they lost our order, the truth finally came out. However, she said we could order again but we would have to wait our turn in the kitchen for our order to come out there were orders in front of us and she cannot put us to the front of anyone else’s orders. Offered us a shake while waiting, we said no thank you, we want dinner. We left hungry and went to Sonny’s and had a great meal.
The second time we went to steak and shake about two months later sat for 12 minutes without drinks. I saw the same manager we had a couple months ago up at the front counter with a couple waitresses looking at pictures on a cell phone. I blew my top I told her off and we never went back. It’s been two years I hope things have changed but I will never be back. This woman was the worst manager ever.

Can’t give a review because the staff won’t acknowledge you to seat you. I waited for at least 10 minutes and no one would even say, «we’re full, get the f*** out.» Went next door to Sonny’s for lunch.

Very good! Our family of five ate for under $ 50 after desert. The fries were skinny, but good. Burgers were dilicious. Service was friendly. Food was propared promptly. We will return!

Average burger, the fries were too skinny… I did like the variety on the menu. As far as fast food goes, I’d prefer this place over Burger King and McDonald’s but that’s about it. I would never come here to sit down.

Stopped here on a trip to Florida with my wife and another couple. We ordered 3 milkshakes to go. It took nearly 30mins to get the shakes. They handed us the cups with the lids barely on and shakemix slopped over the sides. Sent them back to get cleaned up.
After we left we started drinking our shakes. I had gotten the Oreo shake, my friend had a banana shake and my wife had chocolate. Both my friend and I really only tasted vanilla shake. Once we were about halfway done we took off the lids and looked inside. I had 3 – 4 whole Oreos floating in the shake mix and he had half a banana in his. They hadn’t even bother to blend our shakes. Luckily my wife’s was correct.
Overall this location was terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Slow and they know it. So for us yankees, the drive through goes at snail pace. Burgers aren’t greasy and fries are good — not bad for fast food. The teen ranked it #4 of his «tour of US fast-​food burger joints», with Krystals as his first, Jack in the Box, Innout, 5 guys and Sonic. Shakes are thick. Teen vote — 3.5 stars. Mom’s burp vote — one burp, with the NASTIEST being Jack in the Box… Moving on to the next trip — White Castle (childhood favorite of mine)

Always good. Cam never complain about the place. The food, the shakes, even the people who work there are hrest. I wish they had a place like this in Staten Island, ny. That actually have good burgers.

Place is gross! Very dirty and food very greasy. Milk shakes are good, that’s why I gave it 2 stars. Last visit their the waitress «padded» her tip on my card. Called corp and went back to talk to manager. Gave me the $ back, but it didn’t seem to surprise the manager that her employee did this. SMH. Won’t go back!

Way to greasy and not clean inside. I ordered a hamburger and under neath my burger was pure grease so bad that my bottom bun was soaked. Yuck. Gave them a second try because it was like this the last time and that was 4 years ago. Only plus is the shakes anything else nope.

This place is really starting to suck! The shakes have shards of ice and the service is terrible at the drive thru! For $ 15 for a burger and shakes you are better off not going here! Plus, the drive through attendant screwed up our order and we noticed before we pulled out of the driveway. She got upset with us when we kindly told her what was wrong. Really?!?

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way to Orlando. The food was really great, and our waitress was very nice. Jen, I believe, was her name. Knocking off 1 star because another waitress, Karie, was so blatantly rude to the hostess that it showed how little she is actually concerned with how people perceive her and the establishment.

Seated quickly and server was nice enough but this location is DIRTY!
There are still chocolate rings on my table, the seats are sticky, children’s high chairs are still covered in kid mess, and the restroom is disgusting.

Great spot for fast tasty food. LLLLOoooowwww prices…
