Lindsey and the folks at artworks are fantastic. They have a great selection of art suitable for framing as well as a gallery including local artists and variety of shapes styles and colors. They worked with us to find a canvas, of suitable size, color and dimensions (for over a living room sofa) and worked around our schedule for delivery. I’d return here for framing and any other wall art needs. Highly recommended!!!

Owner Lindsay (who is very personable and friendly) framed an antique watercolor portrait for me. She is an expert in choosing mats and frames that enhance and complement artwork rather than distract from it. She uses high quality materials and the framing is flawless. Delivered on time and her prices are very reasonable. I am absolutely thrilled with the framing and will be using her business for future work. I highly recommend Art Works Gallery for your framing needs!

We had a print who’s frame came apart during our move to Palm Desert.
1st place I took it told me I needed a new frame. I took it to Lindsay and she had it repaired & looking better than it did originally within a day. Nice store, very helpful and fairly priced.

Ok we don’t have a lot of choices in our area so when we had a very special pastel art piece done of our beloved dogs we asked some friends in the desert where to go for framing. We are so happy they said to go to art works. They did a fantastic job. Since then we have framed some old family photos and we have compliments on them all the time. It was worth driving a little further to get our monies worth in help and workmanship.

I do a great deal of needlework, and this is the absolutely best place I have found out here to do my framing. I have taken a lot of pieces there in the past and what I really need, and find invaluable, is the owner’s wonderful eye in picking out mats and frames. I have a number of pieces framed there that people always comment on, but I just got one back, a Halloween piece, that is truly amazing. The canvas is always lined up beautifully (which I know is not easy to do), and the selection of frames and mats is just endless. It really is great to know that there is a place so close that does such wonderful work. I know there are other framers, who may even be less expensive, but if the piece you have is something you treasure, I wouldn’t take it anywhere else.

so I wrote a review which was very negative, but I have to amend my crummy rating. the store has offered to replace the photograph and frame — it turns out that the work was done by an outside contractor so it wasn’t the fault of this merchant. I still think the store should have admitted the problem before allowing the work to leave its premises, or told me that it would have to rely on an outsider, but their willingness to rectify the problem means that they don’t deserve to get slammed the way I did it. Egg on my face — seems you need to have your own experience with this merchant rather than rely on my petulance. Sorry.
