Bill Clawson

Bill was the minister at our wedding this July and I believe he was a key part of the day’s success. I’ve attended many other weddings and I don’t recall ever thinking much about the minister, either good or bad. So I was very pleasantly surprised when so many people came up to me at the reception and said how good our minister was! Our wedding was outdoors at a country club and there could have easily been a lot of distractions… from the nearby swimming pool, to people just walking by our terrace where the ceremony was held. It was great that Bill was clearly heard and understood by everybody, even those seated in the back. There was part of the ceremony where my husband and I each light a center candle, but the breeze kept blowing them out! Bill was wonderful, smoothly saving the day with a little joke about a breeze at a wedding bringing «very good luck.» His sense of humor made us all laugh, enjoy our ceremony and remember it with a smile on our faces! I won’t go on forever, but let me say that if you want one less worry at your wedding, selecting Rev. Bill as your minister would be a great start!

Bill officiated at our wedding in September 2015 and we were overjoyed with the entire experience. We wanted an intimate, non-​religious ceremony tailored to our personal wishes, and that is just what Bill gave us. He drafted several versions of the ceremony for us and we all worked together to fine tune the language, add personal touches and he even attended our rehearsal (which I think every minister should do and it really helped us get over our nervousness about the actual ceremony). On the day of the actual wedding Bill was smooth, warm and kept our guests really engaged in the ceremony while making us feel immediately relaxed and comfortable. I’m happy to recommend him to anyone!
