I cannot remember the last time I had a burger this good. I had the Mock Burger, my wife had the Blue Burger, and the little ones had a hot dog and kid burger. With that being said the burgers were cooked perfect. All the ingredients were fresh. We had a side order of chili cheese fries and garlic fries. Make sure you bring mints, they had the most garlic I’ve ever had on fries. The owner came over and spoke to us a few times, the service was excellent. This is now a must go to whenever in the Palm Springs area

Burgers look good and are plentiful. Not a whole lot of flavor, make sure you have ketchup and mustard.

It’s always a good time for a Great Burger! Felt overwhelmed by the number of Burger choices, but decided on the Holy Moly and the name/burger didn’t disappoint. A juicy and flavorful burger, melted cheese, crisp iceberg lettuce, thick/large cut tomato, plenty of pickle chips, zesty guacamole and fresh red onions. All the ingredients together sandwiched between a brioche bun was delicious. Now for the wah-wah or c’mon man! The fries were a disappointment and the batch we got were wilted and lacked taste. To compliment a burger of this stature it needs a quality not a quantity basket of fries! I was hoping for shoe-string fries that were golden brown and could stand on it’s own but these were dark brown and soggy. Maybe they can offer tater tots. And, for the sake of cleanliness please burn those awful yellow vinyl covers, there is nothing sanitary about them. In fact, they felt sticky and dirty and wish I had ate outside on the stainless steel table tops instead. Besides that, the burger is a standout and I’ll come back for that Holy Moly!

First time here. Had the deluxe cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese. It was cooked to perfection. Came with all the trimmings. Had the half and half french fries and onion rings. Also had a great root beer float with a good amount of ice cream. Service was fast and good. Very busy but got in quick. A have to burger place for me

The burger ranks high on the list with the best I’ve ever had! We were planning to go to another nearby restaurant and the place looked super busy. Thankfully my in laws remembered Grill-A-Burger and said they’d eaten there once before and liked it. Located in the end of a busy strip plaza there’s plenty of parking out front or on the side. We were greeted promptly when entering and shown our choice of a couple of available tables, not many. The décor is kind of surfer Hawaiian like you’re at a tiki bar with surfboards hanging on the wall and stuff. Good sized menu with a ton of burger options as well as some hot dog options and who knows what else, it doesn’t matter, get a burger! I ordered a #3 «You’re Bacon Me Crazy» which is a traditional cheeseburger add bacon and I also added avocado, after all I am in Cali right. Wifey ordered the #4 Magic Mushroom burger and we split a small regular fries. My in laws got a veggie burger and split it. While you’re waiting for your food to be cooked, there’s plenty of servers running around taking care of customers and the owner is also stopping at every table to check in on guests, thank them for coming and inquire about the food and service. She was very genuine and friendly I might add. Burgers arrived and come wrapped in old school wrap with half the burger exposed. Mine was huge, topped so high I wasn’t sure I could open my mouth that big to eat it. No worries, I do and it was love at first bite. The meat was cooked to perfection. The bun was soft and fresh. The toppings were plentiful and fresh from the garden. This thing was amazing to the last bite! I will definitely go back when in the area and hope to see them expand and come to Florida, say at the end of my street or something! Great food, great service and the prices were very reasonable. Oh yeah, I remember seeing another guest with a homemade milkshake. Order one of those too, it looked amazing as well! Great job Grill-A-Burger!

The burgers here are excellent! These people have a jungle theme going on inside so it is unlike any other valley restaurant. There is a super spunky blonde server who works here and makes the dining experience even better. I really love the garlic fries. They charge to add dip like ranch but I think it’s worth it! Also, this place is probably between 13 – 17 dollars a person after adding a pop so be prepared for that. I’d much rather pay more and eat here than go to a cheap burger place and be unhappy!

Found this place on Unilocal.Needs something filling after golf! The staff is very friendly and greets you right as you go in. The food comes out very quick and was hot. Our table ordered the Greta Carbo(turkey no bun) and the deluxe cheeseburger. Both were cooked perfectly. We split a milkshake(2 full mugs!) and an order of fries. My only request is to offer two sizes of fries. We ended up leaving the majority of the fries because the burgers were so big. Will definitely come back here.

Still a great place. We prefer the regular fries. Nice lettuce option to a bun. Also gluten free choice. Small burger options. It feels lighter the servicer is friendlier now.

If you are expecting GREAT burgers and fries you will never be disappointed. We love the mini varieties because you do have an opportunity to sample without having to call the paramedics. The location has an issue with parking so park on the side to keep your stress level down. Last night I ordered a hot dog for the first time. Nothing fancy, the way I like it with mustard and RED onions. They really taste like the Kirkland Beef dogs I have bought at Costco. They are delicious. We have sat at the bar before sampling some beers and watching a game. Cool place and not too far.

Great food, fun menu, HORRIBLE service. Even AWFUL phone service when we called for some info. Too bad. They close every night at 8 and you’ll feel rush to eat and leave 15 minutes before they close. Disappointing since a smile and good service would make this a great review.

Yum! We were craving burgers on our way home from Glamis and decided to give this place a try. Very yummy! We tried the avocado fries, which were just ok. But the garlic fries were delicious! They didn’t skimp on the garlic! Our burgers were all HUGE but amazing! I wouldn’t totally stop here again! Our server seemed a little uninterested in being there, maybe even a little annoyed. But overAll a good experience.

For a place that specializes in burgers, I really expected more. We got the mushroom burger and a patty melt. Both were just«okay» and nothing really special. They weren’t bad, but like I said, just okay. I’m not sure if I’d come back here or not because I think once I’m done writing this review, I’ll forget about it. Just not memorable enough. Oh, their garlic/Parmesan fries were very good and they give you a good amount.

Went there on Christmas eve and could not have been happier. Staff was helpful, courteous and funny! To top off the great service, the food was even better. My burger was cooked perfectly, they asked how I wanted it cooked and came out, hot and crisp, perfect. Will visit again when in Palm Desert.

We are huge fans. Every time we come to Palm Desert(at least once every two years), we have to stop at least once here. Turkey burgers, regular burgers, unbelievable topping options — no complaints yet from anyone and I’d say the worst burger we have had to date was at least better than average. Wish they would open one near Calabasas… Fries may be the best part — we always get Sweet Potato, regular and garilc fries. Yum

Quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had! Went here last night for dinner on our way to a show at the McCallum. We searched Unilocal for places to eat eat near the theater, and sadly most were closed on a Sunday night. Thankfully fate sent us here. The service was fast and very friendly, even though place itself was packed. The menu is creative and the atmosphere is fun. Just the right touch when heading out for a fun night! The burgers were incredibly tasty and juicy, with an ample serving of the special sauces. I had the Ooh La La burger with caramelized onions and garlic aioli. The flavors just blew me away. My wife had the Bacon Me Crazy, and my folks shared the Patty Meltin’. All were equally impressed. The portions are generous, in fact the four of us shared two sides. Can’t wait to come back here!

Friendly and funny! So my husband and I have eaten here maybe twice a month since we discovered this place. First off, take your time and read through the menu, front and back, the menu item names are hilarious! Second of all, the staff really makes an effort to get to know you. Every night the owner maybe? I’m not sure, he could just be a guy that comes in after a round of golf to talk to people. Anyways, he remembers nearly every person he talks to. So on top of feeling really comfortable with the staff they have massive, delicious burgers. The best garlic fries. And definitely make room for the root beer floats. I can’t rave enough about this place.

Grand choix d’excellents burger, service souriant, attentionné et efficace. Les frites sont très bonnes aussi, grillées comme je les aime et pas grasse. Expérience à renouveler.

Came here solely based on the reviews. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I ordered the bacon me crazy and garlic fries. The bread was the best part of the burger. With a name like bacon me crazy I expected there to be more than 2 thin slices of bacon. The burger while juicy lacked any sort of seasoning. The garlic fries were awesome. Great garlic to friy ratio. The server I had was terrible. Rushed me to order then never once came back to ask if I needed anything else or to see if I was doing okay.

The mini cheese burger I got was super greasy. So the big quarter piece of pickle helped a lot! The 50⁄50 was a huge basket of french fries and onion rings. The fries still had skin on which was awesome, and the onion rings had a nice crisp batter. Yum! I think it can easily be shared by 4 people. That was a lot of calories right there but it was worth it. 110 degrees outside so I’m sure I’ll burn it right off, right.

Order anything off the menu. Say the whole name, it’s part of the experience. You’ll like it. Order fries of all kinds. I vote to name some; «Daddy didn’t raise no fool» «Did you taste it?» Those are the statements that I hear when I eat here.
