Our hamburgers weren’t horrible but I imagine they would have tasted much better if they were made how we ordered them. There were maybe a total of 5 people in here, so not busy at all, and both of our hamburgers were wrong. I double checked our receipt and made sure it was correct, it was very clear. Staff wasn’t great to say the least. When I told them about it they said they would talk to the people making the burgers and they were sorry. I will spend $ 25 on 2 burgers, a fry and coke elsewhere next time

Having a burger and loving it. Don’t forget to get fries as well, they are fresh and tasty. Great spot to stop by before going to the movies at The River.

I have nothing bad to say. Only that you really need to take all those best burger signs down. Not even close to the best burger I ever ate. That goes for all five guys, I ate at quite a few of them over the years. I rate them a six out of ten at best. Service was good.

Understaffed. Dirty. Out of things. Broken front door. Jeez! The drink machines are half empty. No straws. Nowhere near busy, but way behind on orders. What’s happened to Five Guys? This is more like 3 Guys.

Not much to say except that if you want a REALLYGOOD hamburger, this is your place. I rarely eat hamburgers and the one I had at Five Guys was like a home cooked burger made with the best quality meat. That burger was delicious, and it was thick(double burger) and prepared exactly as ordered. Just thinking about that wonderful thing makes me HUNGRY!

The last time I was here it was a very negative experience. Some of the peanuts appeared old and rotten. The service was terrible. I understand they are under new ownership. It shows. I liked it much better before this happened. I definitely do not recommend this place.

I love this place. I eat there when I go to the movies next door. The service is good but does take them awhile to get your order ready. The burgers are great as well as the hot dogs. The only complaint I have is the fries. You get more than you can eat even when ordering a small order, but some people may like it.

We figured we’d FINALLY give this burger joint some love. I have heard good things including comparisons to another chain. IMHO, that to and fro’ argument ended today. I was extremely impressed with what I ordered. A Double Meat Bacon Burger, with lettuce/onion/pickles/mustard & ketchup. The patties were FRESH, flavorful and so JUICY. The fixins’ were also above the standard. We also requested a LARGE fries to share and following the first morsel I wanted to HOARD them ALL! Okay, I did share but they were WICKED good. The fries were more substantial in heft AND registered a 10 on my taste bud meter. We did WAIT for our order but the quality and price were higher. I really second guessed any reviews touting these burgers as the best but I have awoken from a deep slumber. They only had a few people preparing the food which can test your patience but the meal was definitely worth it. We will return when a burger and fries is on the agenda.

Are the other reviews a joke? Seriously? I have tried this burger place twice. The first time I thought it was awful but it was right after they opened, so I decided to give it a second chance recently. In a nutshell, I thought the burger was the most disgusting burger I have ever eaten anywhere, in any establishment. Greasy, with no redeeming flavors. Is everybody brainwashed by all the self-aggrandizing signs all over their walls.

3 Girls, 5 Guys Sisters craving big juicy cheeseburgers and perfectly seasoned Cajun fries walk into a burger joint… We were starving and beyond ready to devour our burgers. The mouthwatering scent as we walked into the restaurant made us even more impatient to order our food. They both got the regular double bacon cheeseburgers and I got the little bacon cheeseburger with bbq, jalapenos, grilled onions, mushrooms, tomato, and lettuce. HOLYCOW did we go to burger heaven! We all shared 2 regular fries since they give you an overflow of delicious cajun fries. We were extremely satisfied with our meal!

My track record on Unilocal clearly points to the level of importance I ascribe to great customer service. Moreover, if you scan my reviews you’ll discover Five Guys is my go-to burger establishment coast-to-coast. I’ve enjoyed countless great burgers and good service at Five Guys from NY to California; and many many states in between. Occasionally a staff member stands out. Today it was Anthony at this location. His personality, humor, and conscientious approach was well reflected as he served his guests during my visit early this evening. Kudos to Five Guys and Anthony for the stellar experience I enjoyed during my first visit to a Five Guys in the Palm Springs area. I will return. Thanks Anthony and Five Guys! Steve…

Fresh burger made to order. Friendly service and clean environment. Cool Soda machine that you can mix different sodas. Free roasted peanut is fun to try some. Burgers were delicous and fries are good too. Plenty of parking at The River shopping center. Price is reasonable.

Burgers are always freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. Lots of options on toppings. When you order fries, they always throw an extra scoop into your bag. b One of our favorite burger places.

What’s not to like! Fresh burgers made exactly to order! The fries are the best and you get more than you can possibly eat at one sitting. They have a cool soda machine that makes/mixes fun different flavor a. The service is great and fast! Store is always clean!

The great debate. 5 Guys or In-N-Out. Definitely 5 guys! The fries are wayyyyyy better and the burger is just so much better. You get thick patties, not the thin pathetic ones like In-N-Out, and you get an array of topping to choose from which turn your burger into a masterpiece. Best quick burger spot

I never think about Five Guys unless it pops up right in front of my face, but I like it well enough for a quick burger meal. It’s less tasty and more expensive than In-N-Out, but it usually hits the spot. My husband and I spent a weekend at the Omni in Rancho Mirage, across the street from the mall containing this location. We ended up coming to Five Guys two days in a row, once for lunch on our way in, and once just to feed my picky husband while I got comped hotel food. Not the most creative way to eat, I know, but fast and satisfying enough. This place was like every Five Guys I’ve ever been to, clean and bright with peanut shells on the floor, a neat patio to eat in the sun. There was a fancy new soda fountain. Counter service was quick and friendly, and we ate outside. I had a Little Cheeseburger with a bunch of toppings, I think pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, green peppers, and Bar-B-Q sauce. I do love the toppings free-for-all available at Five Guys. The grilled mushrooms are particularly clutch. This was a solid cheeseburger, though it fell apart towards the end as it always does. The bun isn’t built to hold everything. My husband got the Little Bacon Cheeseburger, and we shared an order of fries. I sometimes forget that the order of fries is incredibly large – note to self, always split the small. The fries are probably the best part of Five Guys, though, and the one area in which it completely bests In-N-Out. Crispy, well seasoned, and very fresh. I don’t crave Five Guys, but I know it won’t be too long before another one comes into view when I’m hungry and lazy. Until then, Five Guys. Until then.

Really delicious burgers!!! Had a cheeseburger w/lettuce, tomato, sautéed mushroom… delish!!! Love the variety of soda to choose from…7 different types of diet coke alone! The service is great here too… people/staff are super friendly and the place is always clean. You can have peanuts too while you wait for your burgers… they’re free!!! Great place to go before or after movies here at The River in Rancho Mirage.
