Hanson Remodels & Landscape

We just finished an extensive exterior remodeling of our desert home, including:
–demolition and replacement of existing hardscape;
–reimagining and installation of more suitable plantings along with attractive planter pots and ground cover;
–installation of new landscape lighting, irrigation system, fire pit, shade structure, drainage system; and golf ball protective net;
–complete rehabbing of pool and installation of salt cell
In short, this was not a small job, but Anders, with his design sense and attention to detail, made it as easy as possible for us. Not least of all, he stuck with it and supervised every detail, both during the job and with the inevitable post-​completion punch-​list.
We also found his advance estimate of the cost to be quite reasonable, and he delivered the project «on budget and on-​time” — except for some extras we ourselves requested, for which his charges were also reasonable.
Suffice it to say, this guy is a gem, and we are happy to recommend him to any and all. I might add that this review is completely unsolicited!

Finally, a contractor with a great eye for architecture, design, quality workmanship and an ability to keep a project on-​budget and on schedule! We have done several remodels over the past few years, this time it was a fixer we purchased in Rancho Mirage as a second home. Being out of town owners, it was critical that we have someone in charge of the remodel who we could trust and also someone who’s eye we could trust. Anders delivered. He was a good problem-​solver, thoughtful and insightful. He had good relationships with sub-​contractors and hired good, solid, trustworthy people. This was one job where we never had to chase down subs to finish work and move-​in dates did not have to be postponed. His communication skills were excellent and even though we weren’t able to see the project progress in person– he kept us constantly informed. Whatever issues arose, he was able to deal with them in a straightforward way and he always had creative ideas for solving problems. If you are looking for a trustworthy contractor with an eye for design — Anders Hanson is it.
