Totally disappointed !! After waiting a month for an appointment I finally went to my Monday-8:45 am appt. with all my paper work filled out, as requested by the office. It is a half hr. drive from where I live but I was On Time, as was expected of me. After 45 min., and counting, and other people also waiting in the office I went to the desk to ask why the delay? She said they were a little behind. A little? I suggested to the young lady that if my Appt. was at 8:45 and they were already 45 min. behind (and counting) the only reason would be, that they were over-​booking. To me, over-​booking means a lack of respect for my time and the fact that Dr. Burns and his office chose Quantity of patients over Quality service to patients. I told the desk I had lost confidence in their office and the Dr. and I was canceling my appt. With no apology from them, I left. My eyes are too important to me to leave them in the hands of an office and a Doctor who don’t respect me or my time.

I went to this Nvision for a consultation for Lasik and was overall very pleased with everything. The staff was professional and knowledgable and answered all my questions and concerns without hesitation. Once they found I was a perfect candidate for Lasik they scheduled me my surgery and post-​op appointments within a week. I went to Ontario for my actual Lasik procedure but I was very happy with my experience at this location. I definitely recommend them. Also they were playing The Princess Bride in the waiting room — who can argue with that?

Is this a big business? just called for an appointment after reading the rave reviews. waited on line at a call center forever!!!

I am scheduled to get the surgery in 2 days however I do want to write this review to acknowledge the nvision staff here in Palm Desert. Specifically, Kalli. I met with Kalli twice. Once for initial consultation and once for pre op. She is probably the reason I’m going through with this. Her attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction is second to none. Her enthusiasm and energy was uplifting and her knowledge of the new lasers was SUPERB impressive. She answered all my A-​to-​Z very specific questions fantastically. She even helped me BOOK my hotel for the day of procedure so I didn’t have to drive back for the 1 day post op. These guys are amazing and I can’t wait to meet Dr Pirnizar and actually have it done… to be cont…

Monday 5÷5÷14 morning 6:15 AM, showed up, finished the paper work, went on in, they run me through all the machines and tests again, just to make sure everything jives the way it should. In my construction business we teach «Measure Twice, Cut Once» Im happy to see they have the same work philosophy. They prep me, start flooding my eyes with numbing stuff and steroids, Doctor Burns checks my eyes for the third and final time with the Eye-​Checker-​Thingy-​Ma-​Jig. As I lay back on the table, like a Xmas Turkey waiting for the new, latest, laser, turkey carving knife, I intentionally take note of all the blurred faces and shapes that have been the images of my friends for the last 43 years. I lay my head back and next thing I know its Spread-​Them-​Lids, Zip, Zap, Flop’m-Back, Smooth-​It Rinse and Repeat. Once done and Im allowed to sit-​up I immediately realize I can see every face and everybody has there own individual shape for a change WOW! Its been (4) days so far and not only can I see perfectly, I have had zero pain, I got to have an 18 hour nap and 2 days off from work which NEVER happens. Thank you NVISION. Oh! And BTW MONO-​VISION ROCKS!

I had my lasik surgery in May of 2011 by Dr. Tooma. To this day I can’t get over the difference this procedure has made in my day to day life. I’m still amazed that I can see without glasses or contacts. Also interesting to me is how much time has been added to my mornings and life by not having to deal with contacs and the resultant eye irritations from dust, mascara, etc., I used to get. My only regret is I didn’t get it done sooner. Thank you.
