I think the Revivals store in Palm Desert(On Dinah Shore, next to Costco) is great. They have incredible deals with 50% times on first Fri for women and Thur for men. You have to keep looking but I have gotten new shoes(valued at $ 40 – 50) in stores and got them for $ 6. Great brand clothes, sweaters etc for $ 2-$ 4. The people are very courteous and helpful. Great jewelry, purses. Senior and military discounts.

So very disappointed in Revivals! I have shopped the various stores for years. Recently when I was out of the Valley, my credit card was used without my permission. I returned after being away for 4 months… I saw«Revivals» on my credit card but had no idea which shop, so had to wait until my return to find out what happened. When I went to the shop where the purchase was made, and tried to explain that the item purchased had never been picked up because the person who bought it had gone to hospital… I was hoping that perhaps a credit(the item was over $ 200) might have been considered… even half of the original charge would have been appreciated. The manager simply took the stand that«it was not picked up, so we re-sold it, and you will forfeit the money». Period. Not even a smile, or an «I’m sorry». I happen to volunteer at another resale shop in the Valley… had this been«our» manager, he would have listened to the circumstances, and graciously offered a store credit.

I always love browsing. The last time I was here they had the perfect couch & it was New. They also helped me arrange for to be delivered. This time I found the perfect little table. They are always so helpful. They loaded it into my car for me with a warm smile & thank you. That’s all until my next trip in.

This is a great thrift, consignment, retail store that benefits Desert AIDS Project. They have 4 locations. I have been to them all. The Palm Desert(on the edge of Rancho Mirage) is the nicest location. It doesn’t feel like you are in a thrift store. The clothes, furniture, and household items are neatly displayed. I have found many clothes here as well as pre-owned furniture. All of the locations have great items, this one feels the cleanest.

Outstanding store. Got three books that were worth the trip and partner found three shirts a skirt and a dress. Some nice art and a few bargain glass pieces. Just not the art to move me. A definite try if in area. Wish there was this near me so I could change some furniture.

So, what is Revivals??? Is it a Thrift store, a Consignment store or a Retail store? Revivals prices have always been higher than other thrift stores over the years, but the thought was that it was for a good cause, but honestly, they are all good causes. So now what we seem to have is a retail store masquerading as a thrift store. They are selling less than 2nd rate items with an amazing mark up rate. Not only that, they are branching out with more stores. What is going on here? Is this still for charity? Who is minding the money? Who is getting the bargain here? Did you over expand & not have enough donations??? How much of this goes to charity or DOES it go to charity anymore, cuz this is clearly one of the most successful thrift chain stores I’ve ever seen that ISNOT a thrift store. How do you continue to sell garbage and dilute what was once a highly regarded name in the valley? Very disappointing direction you moved this«charity» in.

It’s always hit or miss when shopping at a consignment store but I have never been disappointed while shopping. Clothing, furniture or accessories, everything is clean and in very good condition. The shop is run 100% by volunteers.

Really nice thrift store, I almost forgot I was in a thrift store. Lots of variety and some unique things as well. I just wish I would have found some milk glass.

Went in to find some shorts. Not a big men’s selection and almost nothing for men under 50. Had a great selection of furniture tho.

I have watched the Revival Stores grow and change over the years. They are always there for me, and I for them. They are one of the nicest of thrift stores around, and there are many. This location is the latest of their store openings, and one that amazes. You feel as if you are walking into a department store rather than a conglomeration of cast off goods. The presentation is beautiful. This store is far from ordinary. There is a whole large section of consignment merchandise featured that commands a pretty penny especially for a thrift store. But if you are looking for that one of a kind, high end outfit that would easily fetch many many hundreds of dollars, or more, if brand new, their donated consignment clothes will simply blow you away. Be prepared for price tags in the $ 200 range, but if it fits, you look like a million dollars. These are gently used, lovingly presented, gorgeous. They also have high end shoes/hats/purses to complete your ensemble. Keep in mind, this store supports the Aids Project, and is primarily run and supported by the gay community. So when my daughter discovered that a lot of the lovely women’s shoes were size 13 and above, she had a good giggle. Now, even if you are not lookiing for expensive clothes and size 13 shoes, there is still plenty for you. The usual household goods, furniture, an occasional antique, books, jewelry and decorator items, in good condition. There is always something fascinating to entertain you, even if you don’t spend a penny that day. That is why we keep returning. We never miss a trip to all their stores when we are in town, and would much rather support them, for all the good they do for the community, than most of the other thrift and consignments stores around.
