Fries are made fresh and staff is very friendly and welcoming. The taste of their food is so good.

Meh, meh, meh and more meh. Frozen fast fried then piled with your average toppings. Good but barely.

Great customer service!!! Worker Jonathan is always positive so polite, I love his suggestions on fries. Everyone should come try them out!

Very interesting concept. This glorious meal is a heart attack. A pound of potato fries cut in any shape you want practically, drenched in cheese and deliciousness. I know for sure the chili cheese friends and the pizza one are great!

I LOVE IT HERE!!! If you are a French fries lover and just want a bucket full one day well this is the place. Workers are cool and nice and the different flavors they have are SOOOO good :3

Neat concept… poor execution.
First off, I love ffench fries. With that said, I was really looking forward to trying Spud Monster fries. What a let down. I ordered three of their best sellers. «Cheese and sour cream», Texas BBQ, and original.
1. The prices are high (which is OK if it’s good quality. NOT!).
2. I was informed that they ran out of regular fries after placing the order. So they replaced them with thin fries. When cooked they were had as a rock.
3. The cheese and sour cream was a blended sauce that didn’t taste like either.
4. The Texas BBQ container was only ½ full (thank God). It my own personal order.
5. The original spicy waffle fries were the best of the three, but that’s not saying much.
Here’s the kicker. When they ran out of regular fries, a kid that was picking gum off of his tennis shoe was sent to go get more. He didn’t wash his hands before going or after coming back. The other guy was emptying the trash earlier and didn’t wash his hands either. Who knows what the third guy was doing before I arrived. No one ever put on gloves or washed their hands. Even after using the cash register (guy #3). Now I’m either feeling slightly ill or it’s my imagination. This place has an «A» rating?

I tried the tater tots with honey bbq + sour cream. I should’ve gotten something else… but good options with the poutine style. should’ve gotten that. #regrets and also when I came by the guy said Justin Bieber was just there for Coachella Weekend 1 2015, so yea guys come here and meet him maybe next yr cuz BIEBER LOVES POTATO

Odered curly pizza, waffle honey bbq and waffle sweet potato.
Expensive and nothing too special
Curly fries come out like straight small cut
Pizza and honey bbq taste the same
Sweet potato taste like over cook
Frozen not fresh no crunchy
Disappointed
I can do it better at home by the frozen fries by Walmart or any market

Bomb!!! The first time I eaten here I couldn’t breathe since I was stuffing the tater tot chill down my face the second time I ran to my car to eat them right away!!!

Dope fries, I was here shopping w my side chick (on a DL) but thought I would b a classy guy and get some truffle fries like drake would. It was on point

Pretty inexpensive, but comes at a cost. Everything tasted store bought and cheap.
I ordered the pizza fries and didn’t think anything of it. Nothing too special. The fries tasted like they were frozen, not fresh. French fries topped with mozzarella and pepperonis is something that can’t be bad… I just wanted that next level.
If they fresh cut their fries Spud Monster would be over the top.
Great all around service. The guy who helped me was very gracious, offering sample after sample.

The pizza fries! Fries were dusted with their pizza seasoning then topped with marinara, shredded cheese, and pepperonis before thrown into the oven. Really tasty stuff!
Truffle tator tots! Tots were topped with their truffle infused mayo which tasted amazing! I would buy a jar of that mayo

It’s good…
The idea is that you pick your potato and you top it with what ever your heart desires… it”s crazy good.
They have a ton of options, the food is fresh, and I really liked that they actually make it in front of you.
I wil be back very soon, and have been telling everyone about this place!!!

I’ve always hoped that someday I’d find a restaurant that served tater tots as well as french fries because it just makes sense, but none are smart enough to do so. But who cares when Spud Monster exists?! It’s a small food stand located in the Palm Desert Mall that serves a variety of delicious fried potato dishes in addition to a selection of seasoning and condiment choices.
My prayers for fresh delicious tater tots have been answered by this great place and it also allowed me to finally try Poutine, which was fantastic! I have a ways to go in terms of trying all of their dishes and flavors, but as of now, their food is phenomenal. The prices are a tad high and a third size soda option would be nice, but apart from that, Spud Monster is your source for delicious french fry cuisine. So go. Right now. I don’t care if they’re closed. GO!

One satisfied Spud Monster right here!!! Who could pass down some freshly made fries right in front of your face? For me it was tots (with truffle) but they have criss cut, original and other cuts as well. Toppings consists of pizza, parmesan, garlic, truffle and this list does go on, you won’t be disappointed.
The employees go above and beyond customer service and seem to be happy working here which says a lot for ownership. I wish this company tons of luck which I am sure it does not need. So stop by If you are in the Palm Desert mall, your tummy will thank you!

Nom, spud monster. I loved how everything was made to order but first, can we show some appreciation for their logo, menu design, and the exterior of their stand? Looks like it could belong in hipster OC/​LA. My friend even asked if they sold shirts (they don’t yet).
A bunch of us ordered different kind of potatoes, which made me happy since I kind of wanted. everything. My favorite cuts were the sweet potato waffle and the tator tots. I got the last truffle cheesy corn of the day which made me feel special. ^-^ It was super yummy, especially the first bite when it’s all cheesy and gooey and. now I want an order of it immediately.
I was able to have a bite (or three) of the milkshake flavor and, personally, I really enjoyed it. Another one of my friends enjoys super salty food, and what tasted perfect to me apparently tasted a tad bit bland to him, so we asked them to put more seasoning in. They were accommodating and happy to do so. I feel the opposite would apply to, if you like things on the less seasoned side, you should tell them when you order.
If I was hungry, I probably would’ve tried the combo but that will have to wait ’til next time. The fact that there’s a gym right across Spud Monster made me feel a twinge of guilt. but then I had another bite and I felt justified.

I usually watch my calories but once I got a taste of their truffle corn smothered fries, I couldn’t help myself. My bf got the pizza fries and chili cheese fries which were pretty amazing too. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in Palm Desert to try out their other flavors.

I dislike french fries, but this place is not bad. They have many options and flavors to choose from. They have one that is truffle corn cheese smothered fries, which is really good! I plan on coming back the next time I’m in palm desert =D

I love potato! This place just opened in Westfield Palm desert next to coffee bean! Their shake honey BBQ & shake cheddar is so000 good!
