The guy who’s always behind the counter is pleasant enough, but if your purchase ends in .95 through .99 and you hand him some paper money, you won’t get any change in return. He automatically keeps your change. I’ve called him on it twice, and he gives me a nasty look each time. Yeah, it’s only two or three cents, but it adds up — and it’s MY money. Whether I put it in the change cup on the counter or whether I toss it in my penny jar at home is my business, and it’s not his decision.
