Loads of washing machines and dryers to get that laundry done. the also have a change machine if you need quaters and a we slot machine for powders and drying sheets. All the machines were in working order and were clean. Pretty quiet when we got in so were able to get on with it. Like James M I’m pretty happy with it and confused to why other people gave it so low a rating!

Needed to get my laundry fluff and fold. The two workers there talked me out of it. Sounded like they didn’t want to take another load. $ 2.50 a lb for same day service is unreasonable. Ended up doing my own laundry and saved a ton. Old machines, but they do have wifi. There are gay bars nearby if you want to get a drink while waiting for your loads…

Never let ‘em see you sweat! With this old slogan in mind, I got up at a quarter to seven one morning to throw yesterday’s sweaty clothes into the Marquis’ washing machine so that we could have non-smelly clothes to change into after temperatures shot up to 110 °F later in the day. Unfortunately, the one machine and two dryers in the Villas’ laundry facility were already in use at this ungodly hour in vacation time, so I stuffed our clothes into a bag and walked 0.1 mile over to the nearest coin-op laundry on E Arenas Rd. Arena’s Coin-Op Laundry makes good use of space, with one long line of washers facing its counterpart in dryers. A friendly proprietor presides at a sectioned-off space in back to help with more advanced services like fluff-and-fold or dry cleaning. Being the first and only customer, I had my pick of the two-buck Speed Queens and 25-cent dryers. I tend to stuff a lot of things into my purse, but none of them are ever detergent, so I wandered over to the back of the store to look for some. I found them next to the counter in the back: single-use laundry powders and additives dispensed from an old pull-a-knob box on the wall. This is where and when I met the respectably bearded Zane, who kindly showed me how to pull the machine’s dispenser knob all the way out to help me retrieve my 75-cent Tide. Obviously, cleaning your dirties at the laundromat is rarely ever as entertaining as it’s often made to look on TV or film. Still, you can briefly enjoy(or cringe) connecting to, or mentally singing along with, your favorite soul-filling(or –destroying) power ballads on the radio while you wait. I chose to do neither, at least while the washers were going, as this gave me about thirty-something minutes to scout the immediate area. For starters, two-hour parking is available next to and behind the mini-plaza. Also steps from the laundromat are Rainbow Grille, Score Game Bar, Eddie’s Fro Yo, Café Palette, and a K Convenience Store. A couple of guys next door were already busy setting up patio tables for the day, and tired locals or casino zombies looked to be on their second or third drinks at the bar across the street. For lack of a better word or two, it’s an interesting little scene to be a part of so early in the morning. Too bad we didn’t get a chance to check out more of E Arena Rd’s non-laundry-related offerings before the end of our trip, but of course, there is always the possibility of a next time… and that’s way more than I ever intended to write about a friendly neighborhood laundromat in downtown Palm Springs. As soon as Arena’s offers free Wifi: 4 stars.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life! I’ve been here about 5 times and no one is ever here. The last time and only time I ever come here again, an elderly white man with a hoop earring working at this laundry had reserved most of the machines for himself because he was doing other people’s laundry. He was extremely rude about it. I mean, it’s only common courtesy to say please or be polite about it. I thought to myself this guy is being rude i’ll just move elsewhere, so I got a machine that didn’t have written on paper with a marker«reserved», and he still said that the machines were all reserved. Basically, all the top dryers and big washing machines were reserved. So according to him I’d only be able to use the bottom drying machines and the small washing machines because he told me «you don’t have too much clothes anyway so just use the other machines they’re the same thing anyway». I had a lot of clothes and I wasn’t able to use the big machines, so I had to use the small machines therefore more quarters. I don’t understand why he did it? It seemed to me like an issue against my race. I didn’t like the way he treated me at all, but I had no way out since this was the closest laundry to me at the time. I tried looking for the owner of this place but to no avail. I wish the owner could get in contact with me so that this bigoted man could get fired. I will never ever come back here again! My suggestion is if you do not want to be mistreated please do not come to this place. I was treated like crap and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same thing I went through at this place. The only reason I gave it a star is so that I could write my review otherwise if it were possible I’d give it all the negative stars it would allow me to.

16+ washing machines and 22+ dryers. All stainless steel drums. Wash is $ 2 per load and lasts 33 minutes. Dryers are .25÷8 minutes. This place is very clean and next door to restaurants and bars. Street parking. I was here on a Saturday morning at 8:30 and no waiting.
