Elbo Room

The elbow room was 1 of the last great dive drunk bars in Palm Springs. It was my favorite bar for almost 20 years. So many characters so many great fun people. With Susan is a great bartender call is the crazy owner And operator We all had a fantastic time there. We celebrated Christmas Thanksgiving every holiday nights weekends it never closed. You could get there at 6am if you got a little earlier and help take the chairs down at the bar myou had a strong morning wake up drink. You could drink it from 6 in the morning until 2am or later. It was a family of dysfunctional families. That along with the old hair of the dog bar and the saloon Palm Springs headed share of magnificent nightlife. The Elbo Room unfortunately close. It has changed ownership it is nowhere near what once was and its day. Like everything else in the city of Palm Springs it is turned for the worse. Totally different city and make up the water was 20 years ago. Unfortunately times change and those are some great times they will always be a great memory for me. We move on. My hats off to the elbow room and a good crowd that I use to hang with there all the great bartenders we had some great times. Thank you.
