Got here within the first 15 minutes of the appointment time window Was able to schedule a same day appointment when all their competitors couldn’t get out for a couple of days. Dane was super friendly and helpful. He was able to diagnose and repair the problem within a few minutes after arriving. Great service and wonderful people to deal with. Everything was electronic and didn’t have to use any paper a great plus. Thank you Erkies and Dane for fixing my AC.

We could not be more pleased! We arrived in Palm Springs during the heat wave and found no cool air blowing from our AC. Our gratitude goes to the scheduler and repairmen for squeezing us in at the end of the day. They were so kind, courteous and conscientious. They identified the problem, had all the parts and had cool air blowing within 2 hours of arrival. This is a top notch operation! Thanks guys!!!

Jerry and Vincent did an excellent job cleaning my dryer vent. My appointment was set with an estimated arrival time betwwen 9am and 11am. I was advised I would receive a call prior to arrival. The day of my appointment, Jerry contacted me at 8:55am and advised of his estimated arrival time. I have a stack washer dryer and they took great care in removing the unit from the confined space and did an excellent job of replacing the vent hose and place the unit back in place with no damage. While Jerry was working on the dryer vent, Vincent adjusted my air conditioning vents for better air flow. An added plus, Unilocal coupon for additional discount.

They got to my house within a half an hour and were very professional & knowledgeable, they knew exactly what the problem was. I would recommend Erkies to everyone!

Our AC stopped working over the weekend and after consulting with another company that tried to gouge us ($ 2500 to replace the condenser), we were recommended to Erkies by my brother who works for a property management company that only works with them. They came out to check out our AC unit and not only were they extremely friendly and efficient but they were also very informative letting me know what the problem was and took me through what they were doing to fix it. All that was needed to be done was a couple parts replaced and some cleaning and after the deal here on Unilocal we have our AC up and running for $ 50!!! The kicker is that when the technician first came in I let him know up front what the other company was quoting me at to fix the issue and any dishonest company would have taken that and just run with it. Their honesty, exceptional professionalism, and their efficiency has me forever sold on their business.

Outstanding service and follow up. I have a second home in Palm Springs and recently encountered a problem with my air conditioning unit. I placed a call after hours to Erkies and they responded immediately with a very professional technician who quickly diagnosed the problem. They provided frequent updates on the status of the repair and had my system back up and running the day that the replacement part arrived. This company represents everything you hope to find in a repair service.

This afternoon my sisters and I arrived at my condo here in Palm Springs, for what we call, Sacred Sisters Weekend. It was 107 degrees and I find out that my AC doesn’t work. Manage all the ‘typical’ fixes and nothing. I call Erkies at 5:15pm and speak to Dane. I thought there was no WAY on the planet we were getting this fixed tonight and plans were being made to go to hotel. Well, no. Jamie and Francisco arrive less than 40 minutes later and 45 minutes after that the AC is working beautifully. A thorough (non-​condescending) explanation of what happened was given and off they went. Not only incredibly good, but incredibly kind.
Not that that wasn’t wonderful enough, but Jamie said that it was possible the fan might go out, but didn’t want to replace it while it still worked. Jamie knew that we were going to be here for the weekend so, since he was going to be on call this weekend, he said he’d put one on the truck ‘just in case’. Really? Now THAT is service… and kindness! Thank you SO much to all of you… Dane, Francisco and Jamie for saving Sacred Sisters Weekend!

Maybe it’s because I am used to the terrible service of «everything LA» but these guys are top notch. I called after hours just to see if I could get anyone to come to my place to service my AC. (It took forever to chill after sitting for a few weeks.) Somebody actually picked up. He took all of my information and said that I would get a call in the morning at 9a to schedule an appointment. That happened. She got me scheduled for the next hour. One hour later, they showed up. He was awesome. He inspected my unit, cleaned it, got up in my attic and serviced my unit. He explained where my coolant level should be and said it was a tiny bit low but that it wasn’t necessary to refill it. Imagine that, no up sell! He asked me about my heating needs in the winter too. He said that I had a lot of dust in my unit but that nothing was going bad and everything was in perfect working order. He then charged me the $ 79.99 which was exactly what was quoted to me on the phone. In summary, on time, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I will never call another AC/​Electrical place in Palm Springs. They’ve got my business. Excellent people, excellent service.

What a great experience I just had. Staying at a friend’s house in Palm Springs and the A/​C went out. We called Erkie’s and they quoted the best price for sending out a technician for diagnosis. The technician, Jamie, arrived on time with 15 minutes head up as we requested. He was professional and diligent. Jamie diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and then performed full regular maintenance on the system. Very inexpensive, very professional, and very thorough. What more could you ask for?

I just love this company! 2x now they have bailed me out of a sticky situation. First as having some vents replaced whuch magically dissappeared one day. Quick, professional and solid value. The second time was recently. Had two new guests staying at my house for the weekend and out of nowhere, no warning, the AC stopped working in June!?!
I got some pretty perturbed texts from my guest at 9pm and really had no idea what to do since I was in Seatle on business! No problem for Erkies-​they dispatched a tech and within 1hr or so he arrived fixed the problem and left an invoice for me to pay during business hours or online! PHEW!
Again, fast, professional, thorough (made some recommendations) and on their way. Great service great prices, cant say enough good about my experiences! And in Palm Springs and the desert communities, I have found that good, reliable, consistent help is like gold! And Erkies may be the standard!

I was lucky enough to get Dane, The Owner, himself to come out and install my dining room chandelier. He was on time, professional, courteous and made the installation a snap! I had high expectations based on other Unilocal reviews, but he did not disappoint!!! Great experience, will give him all my electrical and plumbing business!!!

Jamie was on time and patient with condo situation and willing go the extra mile for the roof access. I canceled the «preferred plumbing, heating and AC» appointment to get Eirkie’s” lower service call cost, earlier appointment and great service. They are on my speed dial for any HVAC service. No doubt about it.

I called this company for a bid when I realized I was getting shafted by another company, they followed up with the original manufacturer of my heating/​AC system and save me thousands of dollars as the parts needed were still under warranty. They were friendly, efficient and honest!

Zero stars if Unilocal could have taken that entry. I’m not sure how these people stay in business based on my experience. The only reason I called them was due to the high Unilocal ratings. Nobody I know has ever used them — you can draw your own conclusions on that.
I called them to set up a time to give me an estimate for a full new HVAC system at my home. We arranged a day and time. They did not show up. I called after the appointed hour to understand what happened. The person who answered the phone (with whom I had spoken to book the appointment) indicated she had the appointment noted but it didn’t show up on the schedule. And apologized. Ok, anyone can make a mistake once. All is forgiven.
We then made an appointment for the next day. If you were a business you and you know you screwed up on something, wouldn’t you be extra sure to ensure you got it right on the second try? Well, guess what? We waited at the house during the scheduled time and nobody showed up AGAIN. AND, no call either. I would even do a forgive if they were running late but had called. NOTHING.
If they can’t even show up for two scheduled appointments, how could they ever manage to install a system let alone be trusted to show up and maintain it?
There are lots of other hungry HVAC people in the desert who actually call to confirm appointments and show up when they say they will. Watch out Erkies — you can’t stay in business long with this kind of performance..

We called this company based on their Unilocal reviews. Dane and his helper Fransisco came out to the house. My husband knows electrical and we knew we had a huge problem, but we needed someone small enough to fit in the attic space to find the missing junction box. The addition on the back of our house was wired unbelievably wrong to the point we were amazed the place didn’t burn down. Dane came to the same conclusion that the back of the house needed all new wiring and the project was major.
We liked Dane, and he knew his stuff even though he blew another outlet out and never bothered to fix that, but he assured us he would take on the project and call us back with the total estimate. Well, he never called. After several attempts to call, email and text him he just refused to respond. It’s fine if the project was more than he wanted to take on, we get that, but please have the professionalism to call us and let us know. It really is no way to run a business…

Jeremy was a delight… They came over at 11:45 PM after an extremely uncomfortable couple hours in a house without AC. He came over and fixed our AC within 30 minutes. He said something went wrong with breaker.
I am very happy someone reliable came out to fix this issue!

We bought a older house in Palm Springs and the home inspection flagged a laundry list of low to mid level electrical issues.
I sent the report to Erkies for a ballpark estimate, they responded with a quote in 48 hours. I decided to go with them as other companies would not even give a budgetary estimate without seeing the property.
They showed up on time, completed the work in the time they said they would and were exactly on budget.
Very clean and courteous guys, I will be hiring them again when we do our next remodel.
