Just my favorite thrift spot in the desert. Great employees and really care and the whole experience is darling! I am strictly a mid-​mod hound so I have to dig but every once in a while it’s a goldmine. LOVE THEM. xoxo

JOSHUA TREE, CA
I really like this store, saw it by accident one day so I looked it up and went. Housewares were half price so I got a sixties chip n dip bowl set for $ 5, got a like new vintage style print small club chair for $ 75, a little more than I would usually spend, but it was perfect. The volunteer lady at counter was lovely and the man working took my chair right out to my car and loaded it up, very nice. I like having a thrift store on that side of town.

This place is in a building that will make you think you’re in the wrong place… but it’s the right place! Not a ton of clothes here, quite a bit of glasswear and furniture. When I was there all clothes, bags and shoes were 50% off so I got some decent deals. Also they have a special where you fill a grocery bag of books and pay $ 5! If you’re a book-​ee like me this was excellent :)

Kinda out there but worth a drive if you are a thrifter. The store is pretty big with an area in the back that they call the «gallery» which leads into other areas. WIth junking it is always hit or miss. So, I guess I sort of made a hit and found a few good things. Now I understand that the proceeds go towards helping people recover from strokes. Which I always am a big supporter of organizations that help people and put their sales towards a good cause.

The Thrift Shop at Stroke Recovery Center is a gem! The store, named after the late Jackie Lee Houston, a loyal benefactor of the Center, carries upscale, gently used clothing, housewares, art & décor, jewelry, furniture, and more at great prices. Thrift Store proceeds go directly to the Stroke Recovery Center to help support stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) survivors and their families. Donations of clean, serviceable, and complete items are gladly accepted, and resale-​quality donations may be tax-​deductable. For larger quantities and items, pick-​up service is available in the greater Coachella Valley.
