Decoration and style is great however the food is even not the half of the value you pay for. We got a Mickey Mouse pancake for kids with couple fruits on it and like burnt. Not a tasteful coffee and latte. A very expensive but not special omelette etc. go and see the hotel lobby and decoration, no need to spend money for food

I recently visited Palm Springs for the first time with my gbf and he really wanted to take me here for brunch. We called ahead of time to make reservations because we were going on Mother’s Day but was told they don’t accept any. When we did arrive they asked if we had reservations and we were told that they DO accept reservations. Kind of annoying, however, it only took about 10 minutes to wait for a table and we were able to sit in the dreamiest lobby EVER at The Parker.(side note: my gbf’s favorite movie of all time is The Shining and The Parker has the same patterned carpet so OBVI we were gagging) The interior of Norma’s is so cute I can’t even take it. It’s like Jonathan Adler and my grandma’s vintage pyrex had a baby and it’s name is Norma. The patio is gorgeous. They gave us delicious smoothies in shot glasses while we looked over the menu. I had the artychoked benedict and it was literally to die for. The eggs were poached inside of the artichoke hearts and covered in truffle porcini sauce. I was kind of worried about ordering it because sometimes truffle is hit or miss and can be too overpowering for me personally. This dish, however, consisted of the perfect amount of truffle and was truly memorable. The server wished me a Happy Mother’s Day and I was like bish whet do you see a stroller with us?

Very basic dinner menu, a diner kid menu feel. Bland… Not what I expected while staying at such a beautiful venue.

I loved this place for brunch. So relaxing. The mid-century décor is great. If you’re not staying at the hotel, you can still use the complementary valet, you just can’t walk around past the lobby. Using pancakes in the salmon eggs benedict made them noticeably even more delicious than I expected. The potato pancakes are a perfect combination of savory and sweet. I suggest you sit outside, if it’s not too hot.

Such a great place. Happy to hear they have a place in nyc! Best brunch/dessert I’ve had in … I can’t remember. Try the WA-ZA!!the rest of the hotel is super cute. They serve dinner as well which we would have loved to have tried.

Omg. What a beautiful spot in a hidden gem hotel. Prices are very reasonable! Paloma took care of us and gave us exceptional service. She was bubbly and kind, not over bearing at all. I really liked how this restaurant was ran. The manager greeted and helped out, the waitress was helpful & the busser filled in all the extra spaces. It’s always refreshing to have really great service. We will be back again.

Norma’s is a delicious, indulgent, if not fairly pricey breakfast and brunch joint in the Parker Meridien in Palm Springs. The restaurant has an inside portion, but except in inclement weather, you want to be outside in the fresh air under the brightly colored awnings on comfy booths with the Mad Men vibe. The menu is fairly huge and has pretty much every type of breakfast food you could think of from huevos rancheros to french toast to pancakes, and all portions are immense. The prices are fairly high, breakfast for two was nearly $ 60 without drinks, but the service is excellent and the food awesome. The ambiance is also worth it and incredibly relaxing. It somehow makes you feel like a movie star from the 60s. The pancakes were delightfully fluffy and flavorful, not at all dry. The butter was delicious, but there must have been an ice cream scoop full of it. Even the bacon was exceptional. They also gave a small sample of a smoothie which was very tasty.

Loved this place. I totally felt like I was in Palm Springs. It is a bit pricy but hey, what do you expect, it’s at The Parker in Palm Springs. I had the Norma’s Eggs Benedict(I think that’s the name) and I was very satisfied. The atmosphere was so chic, can’t wait to go back.

Ok y’all. Listen and listen carefully. The only thing I have to say is, Huevos Rancheros in this restaurant is the best one you will ever eat in the history of Huevos rancheros! It will melt in your mouth before you even put it in your mouth. And I know I said the above is all I have to say. But the waffle plate with berries wasn’t my favorite. It was dry but the least sweet of all the others. Soooooo if you care for that, then this might be the best option. Berries were great :) Overall, the staff was so nice and attentive! Love the ambiance here

Cute place, nice ambiance, good food, terrible service. We have eaten here many times because we love the ambiance, but sometimes the service can be absurd. Today, we sat down at 11:30, a table of 7, the restaurant was semi busy, and we ordered at 11:39. The food did not come out until 12:30, 50 minutes after ordering brunch. We complained 3 times about the service and nothing was done. The manager/supervisor we experienced was ineffective, his name is Selcuk Sahin. This restaurant is understaffed, poorly communicated, and can’t accommodate it’s guests with quality service. I’ll reiterate the food is delicious but this has been disappointing.

3 stars for the food, +1 for the service and ambiance. A Jonathan Adler, interior design heaven– The Parker hotel is breathtaking and trendy, without making you feel uncomfortable or out of place. Everyone from the bell boys, to the hostess, to the waitress was extremely friendly to us, even though we weren’t hotel guests. We had an early dinner at Norma’s before our flight back to SF. We tried earlier in the day for brunch, but they closed off the hotel because of a wedding reception. Perhaps if we had come for brunch, I would have been more impressed by the food. Chicken Caesar Salad: the«bowl» is a giant croûton, which I thought was cute and hey– no one ever complained about getting more bread, right? The dressing was disappointing as it tasted bland, watery, and there just wasn’t enough of it on my salad. The chicken breast was not dry(yay!) and had lots of flavor. It’s a pretty basic salad for the price($ 20). Wish it came with some cherry tomatoes, or avocado, or anchovies. Shrimp Caesar Salad: same as the chicken salad, but with shrimp. I wish I had gotten the shrimp option, as it is only an extra $ 4 and the shrimp were actually prawns. They were huge! And there was a good amount of them, I was impressed. Definitely worth the extra $ 4. Chips & Guac: really good guac and even tastier salsa. The chips are thick and well salted. Great appetizer! Lemonade: $ 6 per lemonade. Not cheap at all. A little too sweet for me, wouldn’t order again. Next time I’m coming back for brunch, and staying at the Parker. You can’t help but be in a good mood when you are here!

This review relates to dessert only but would have loved to go back for dinner or brunch if we had time! My husband and I visited Norma’s for dessert and both ordered pie shakes. I’m honestly not one for milkshakes but these were amazing! My husband got caramel, banana, graham cracker crust and I ordered vanilla, blueberry, oatmeal crisp. Both were solid choices but I think we both agree his was the best combination. The caramel flavor is really vanilla with caramel drizzle so don’t let it dissuade you from ordering it.

Located in the Parker Hotel, a great choice for breakfast before we headed to the airport. I ordered the waffles with fresh strawberries and cream and it was slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Hit the spot before a long flight. The view is beautiful sitting outside with all the trees lining the pathways. If you don’t want to drive somewhere to eat, don’t, just eat where you are staying!

This is a must for Palm Springs brunch. Service is great. Food is really tasty. Everything was really tasty, including the complimentary smoothie at the beginning. Highly recommend the Huevos Rancheros. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Flap Jacks. They were way too decadent(but I’m not a sweets for breakfast person). And valet is complimentary! Tip: Get there early if you don’t want to wait for a table that is outside but not in direct sunlight.

Wow… This place is amazing! My fiancé and I came here for lunch and walked out hours later with huge smiles on our faces. FOOD: the food was better than we could have ever expected. I got the standard eggs Benedict and he got their rendition of Fish and chips. I’ve had so many eggs Benedictus in my life and this was by far the best. The eggs were cooked perfectly and even the potatoes on the side were great! His fish and chips, which also had lobster, was decadent and delicious. I would say it’s a must try if you come. We also were created with as ample of the smoothly of the day and our cocktails we ordered were so good! EXPERIENCE: everyone here was so friendly. Our waiter was helpful and knowledgable. After lunch we sat out on the patio and a nice woman brought a cocktails and homemade buttermilk popcorn. I wasn’t even hungry but it was so good I had to have it! The grounds at the Parker hotel are so beautiful to walk around and there is even a crocket lawn tucked away along the paths.

Second best thing I put in my mouth in 2015? Huevos Rancheros here. Order that, and be amazed. With that being said… WHATISWRONGWITHHOSTESSESINTHISCITY!!! Geeze Louise!!! Had reservations and enjoyed the free valet parking at the hotel. Walked up to be seated for our on time reservation and was«greeted» by the hostess from hell. She rolled her eyes and scoffed as we gave our name for the reservation. If the food wasn’t so dynamite, I would have walked out before I was even served and thrown my daily smootie in her face. Other than that, great atmosphere, the wait staff was dynamite, and again, HUEVOSRANCHEROS. Coming back, but definitely asking for management if Salty McSeater is back.

Was fortunate enough to stay at the awesome Parker for a few days between Xmas and NYE festivities. For breakfast, we ate 2x at Normas. The food is definitely pricey for breakfast/brunch($ 6 coffees!!! eek) but you are paying for the ambiance. Unfortunately, it was a bit too cold to sit outside when we were there but they have a beautiful patio for outdoor dining. Service is pretty good and food is fresh and hot. You are greeted with a sampler of their smoothie of the day. We tried their omelette(average) and breakfast/egg quesadilla(delish!!). It’s worth the splurge especially if you don’t stay at the Parker since you’ll get the chance to walk around and oogle at all the cool Jonathan Adler-inspired design and Alice in Wonderland-esque grounds.

Can’t wait to go back! Purchased this hotel for $ 200+ on HotelTonight and the boyfriend and I are so happy we did! One of the best hotels/hotel rooms/hotel vibes! We booked September 19 – 20(one night) and overall the hotel wasn’t too busy, there were plenty of people, but not enough that you had to wait in long lines for anything, no lines anywhere really, with the exception of check in/check out. The grounds and esthetic of the hotel is beautiful! You get a map at check in(that’s a bit hard to navigate) and once you get used to the hotel its a bit easier to get around. Don’t be afraid to just wander, because you will end up wandering a lot. The lobby and bar area is so mellow. Especially in the evenings for people watching it’s fantastic! So unique. Boyfriend and I grabbed drinks before our dinner reservation and sat on one of the couches for and hour and just enjoyed the vibes of the hotel. Would be a gorgeous place to get married and there were 2 weddings there the evening we stayed. Our room was HUGE(not sure what other rooms are like, as mentioned, we booked through Hotel Tonight) and the bed was so comfortable. Room service was great and prompt. Bath/shower was small-ish compared to room size but bathroom was very nice. Lots of mirrors. Bathtub plug did not work however. Weird channels on the tv but I don’t think that’s as important as we only watched it to wind down before bed. Norma’s for breakfast was amazing, great service. Mister Parkers for dinner was divine and talked about for days later, great service there as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to go back over and over again.

This review is for Norma’s restaurant only. The food is great! Everything we had was delicious! And we ate there 3 times in one weekend! Yes, it’s pricey(it’s the Parker, after all), but at least the potions are ample. Paloma was a delight. We were lucky enough to have her twice. She took very good care of us. Thank you, Paloma, for your wonderful service. They *could* use some fans or misters or SOMETHING on the patio during the 100+ degree heat in the summer afternoons. But evenings are more tolerable. Plus they tolerated our dog and our toddler so it was perfect.

This is an amazing place for brunch! I stayed at the Parker Hotel with my mom and cousin for a weekend and we ate at Norma’s in the morning for brunch. This place does not disappoint. Once you enter the restaurant, you feel like you are transported into the 70’s. All the décor is hippie chic and the outdoor patio is adorned with vibrantly, bright orange chairs. You are then greeted by a cheery waiter who presents you with complimentary smoothie shots of the smoothie of the day. The one we had was made with pineapple juice, kiwi, strawberries, and banana. It was so delicious and fresh that I wanted to order a smoothie at the end of our meal. If you come here, you HAVE to try the Wa’za! It is like a waffle on crack, in a good way. The inside of the waffle is cut in half and is filled with ooey gooey papaya and guava fruit. It is so warm and sweet. The top of the waffle is crusted like a crème brûlée and then topped with bananas and blueberries. I can never have a waffle again after trying this one. It’s incomparable to anything you’ve ever tasted before. I tried my mom and cousin’s omelette and both were fluffy and packed with fresh ingredients. If you’re more of a savory person, try one of their omelettes. If you’re staying at the Parker or in Palm Springs for the weekend, I definitely recommend eating here. It’s in a beautiful hotel and the food is very flavorful.
