Horrible purchase. I bought some peanut butter truffles in a box to bring home to my family. They were dried up and clearly out-dated. You need to rotate your stock!

Mmmmm love homemade fudge. Stopped in for a little piece. The lady who helped us was friendly and helpful. We were in and out in minutes.

This little candy shop is a fun trip down memory lane if you want the candy that you remember from your childhood with bubble gum cigars and boxes for candy cigarettes and candied bugs. The date shakes we had were ok except they were stingy with the dates in our date shakes.

Oh, so gooey, delicious, rich fudge. Peanut butter, chocolate with nuts or without, I’ll take you anyway I can. It’s a fudge, chocolate, candy shop with a date shake section in the back of the small store. Clean and friendly. Prices are clearly marked and there are price lists next to the register: — Fudge: $ 14.99 per pound — 14 different flavors to choose from — Chocolates and caramels: $ 19.99 per pound — Truffles: $ 2.99 each — Old Fashioned Caramel Apples: $ 5, $ 6 and $ 7 for«The Works» — Sugar-free chocolates, fudge and brittles: $ 23.99 per pound Um, so yummy good. I savor every moment of this chocolate heaven.

I was looking for some holiday treats to drop off for my clients, and I stumbled upon this gem! I was greeted by a ray of sunshine, all smiles, filled with holiday cheer! She was so gracious to help me personalize each gift box with beautiful ribbon! I later found out that this wonderful woman’s name is Nora, the owner of 20+ years! The sweet scent of sugar will just melt your senses, and the joy of the service you will receive will last a lifetime! I hope everyone can support this local business! Now if I can only actually TRY the fudge next time! ;) –but my clients raved about it!

A bit pricey but tasty. Six dollar minimum here for fudge. Come here with a lot of cash. They are not very flexible in their offerings. But again if money is no object then try the toffee it is superb. The sample sizes that they give are so small you almost cannot tell what you are going to buy. But I took a chance and it was good.

My husband and I went here specifically to get a date shake. We read that they served one of the best date shakes in Southern California. The employees were very nice and the shake was so good. We will visit this shop every time we come back. FYI we did try date shakes at other locations and none were as good or as creamy at this one.

We’ve been coming to Palm Spring for the past three years, and every year we visit this gem. I’m glucose intolerant and they have a very good variety of sugar free treats. Two of the most notable are the peanut butter cups and English toffee bars. Their date shake isn’t as good as the ones at Hadley’s, but they’re definitely sufficient for a warm Spring evening. My boys always find treats of their own and always become giddy with excitement for their extra special toy treats. This definitely is our annual stop shop,

I don’t know why so many people complain about this place. I found it to be cute and fun to walk around. Lots of candy items to see and look at. There was an ice cream bar in the back but I was just interested in getting chocolate. The girl behind the counter was helpful and informative about all the chocolates to choose from. I decided on a collection of ten pieces. I have to say the truffles were my FAVORITE(do not pass these up). I ended up spending around $ 15. Well worth it. Sure, it might be a little expensive, but it’s worth it. I’d say it probably had similar prices to See’s Candies. Bonus: it was the only dessert shop open at 10 on Sunday night.

I’m a sucker for sweets, although visiting Palm Springs’ Fudge & Chocolate Inc wasn’t exactly part of our itinerary, I made an exception to stop by to see what kinda tasty gummy goodies I could find. But even while I was browsing the store I did not expect to find these. I thought this place was kid friendly, you guys sell chocolate fudge and milk duds for heaven sakes, why would you stash EDIBLEPANTIES next to the gummy bears??? Parents, if you don’t want to be caught off guard having to explain the birds and the bees to your child, especially at a candy store, then think twice before visiting.

Palm Springs Fudge & Chocolate isn’t cheap. Now that that’s out of the way… you’re likely visiting this place for a post-dinner snack or mid-afternoon treat. They have a decent selection of individual chocolates, and also have name-brand pre-packaged candies. Made my evening that they had sour belts packaged up(think: the ones you could normally get in bulk from Sweet Factory). About 8 — 10 belts for $ 2.95. My husband bought some chocolate covered cherries; I think they were about $ 5 — $ 7 for five of them. Hits the spot, but don’t plan to have a feast. They take credit cards but with a $ 10 minimum.

The only place in town we found that sold date shakes. Delicious! If you don’t have time to stop at Hadley’s on the way into Palm Springs(in Cabazon) or make a trek to Shields Date farm in Indio, try this shop.

Sure I think $ 20 for two scoops of ice cream and a few chocolaty treats is a little extreme but they tasted GOOD and when my sweet tooth wants something, it’s gonna get it. Stopped by during Village Fest and desserted up. My mint chocolate chip ice cream, while predictable, was delicious. The lady helping us was friendly and aside from the dark chocolate pretzels and turtles we got some malt balls to go that lasted us a couple of days. Whereas December is probably prime time to take chocolates to go in this part of the world, I could see Palm Springs Fudge & Chocolates Inc being just the ticket to grab a cone to go while in town during the summer months. A-OK indeed.

I was worried about buying the chocolate here based on all the Unilocal reviews but I couldn’t resist ordering a milk shake. Its one of the few dessert shops on the main road in Palm Springs so there weren’t many options(especially if you want something chocolaty, not fruity) The milk shake was good albeit expensive! Filled with ice cream and milk goodness. It took a while to make but it was oh so worth it especially when it was 90 degrees outside at night!

The place is no longer called Heminger’s. It’s the usual candy shop that you find in small places, similiar to Carmel. I bought some Rocky Road fudge(a rectangular brick) with dk. choc almond bark(all by the wt) which set me back $ 16. The dk choc in the almond bark was OK, not as good as the ones sold at Godiva’s or See’s but it wasn’t too sweet. Didn’t try the fudge as I bought it for BFF. Clean store with a variety of candy but definitely overpriced.

Never tried the chocolates, fudge or truffles, but the candy apples are excellent! There are some covered in chocolate, some covered in caramel then chocolate, some covered in caramel, chocolate AND nuts! Outstanding! Really a treat! And they are happy to cut the apple up for you to share it with someone– how nice is that! I always feel like the service here is also very very pleasant.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Seriously! This place is disgusting. We went here thinking that it was Café Chocolat. Boy, were we wrong. We were looking for a place to buy dessert. This place serves disgusting fudge. It doesn’t even taste like fudge. It tastes like rubber and plastic. It had a nasty and crusty skin! I really wanted to like the fudge because we paid $ 50 on chocolates and fudge. You’re probably thinking that we must have bought pounds and pounds of chocolate. Uh, no. 1 ½ slabs of fudge and a small box of chocolate. They had no prices up, so we had no idea how much our purchase would cost. When they gave us the total, we paid thinking, «this must be really good stuff». Such a disappointment and a waste of money. Don’t come here unless you hate the person you’re buying chocolate for and have a lot of money to burn.

In retrospect, the writing was on the wall when a girl in front of me purchased a box of nerds and some airheads and the total was $ 5. It’s not that the chocolate is bad(with the exception of the slightly rubbery, artificial tasting raspberry fudge), it’s just that at $ 50 it’s blatantly overpriced. Me and my wife bought a block and a half of fudge, 5 truffles and maybe 10 assorted other pieces of chocolate and it came to around $ 47. From what we’ve sampled, the candy is inconsistent, some is pretty good, others taste like it could have come from a Whitman’s sampler. Why did you purchase $ 47 worth of chocolate, you might ask? You must have known how much you were paying for as you were selecting everything. Not quite. Nothing was marked at all. I admit, that’s my fault, I should have asked first, and even when it rang up, I could have had them put some of it back. Live and learn. Maybe we got the wrong things or maybe we came at the wrong time, but I would definitely pass on this.
