Got to love a place that gives you something good to do on a Friday night at downtown Palm Springs. D.J. Or band, the place has the characteristic of a fun place to hang out. Humble friendly staff that provides a good atmosphere. I recommend it for a good time out.

This place reminds me of a high school dance, but in a good way. My girlfriend, my friends and I did have a good time here, bartenders are nice and attentive. Drinks are a little pricey(we got like three rounds of shots = shitshow lol). The time we came here there the place was kind of empty were like 15 girls, 2 separate parties and like 2 guys. Really random first time i see the girl to guy ratio that lopsided.

This place is actually dangerous to your health. The place is filthy and is a magnet for criminals. There have been many fights in and around the property and some have involved guns. The City finally gave the owners an ultimatium today: clean up or close up. There are many better places to spend your money in Palm Springs.

Ghetto, bad wanna-be rapper music, dirty, dirty girls in the bathroom stalls smoking weed and leaving roaches on the sink for people to share with. Dirty dudes. Dirty overall. Too dirty. A bit too urban for my liking.

So Ive been going to this joint since it opened and slowly watched it go down hill. From numerous visits from the police kicking out underage girls, guys putting they’re hands on girls, robberies, to just the plain shitty service we receive from the bar tenders and staff. The employees themselves use they’re wanna be thug fake ass images to push around and bully customers. Ive tipped the 2 bartenders well ever since opening day so I was surprised when the bar tender took my $ 50 bill and gave me change back for a 20 after I had just observed him holding it up to the light to check for authenticity, I had also just got there and that happened to be my first drink so I wondered how many drunk people get scammed every night. After the club closed 2 employees followed a group of men and proceeded to jump a kid in the parking lot. I will NEVER go to this club again nor would I ever encourage anyone to do the same. Ever since Zelda’s had theyre grand opening and Dinks opened it seems like Space 120 has to scheme and play people to make ends meet. They do not care about return business from the locals and seem to spit on everyone who walk in they’re doors. The employees really need to lay off the cocaine and get they’re shit together!

Planned a big birthday weekend trip to Palm Springs and wanted to order bottle service for one of the nights. Called them several times throughout the week but it always went to a full voicemail. Left them a Facebook message only to receive a call four days later. They just blew $ 600 minimum. Come Saturday, I sucked it up and brought TWENTY hot and sexy girls with me and one other guy. Taking a quick look inside, I saw some of the beasts and grenades that were in there shaking cellulite truck loads… they should’ve paid US to come in. But no… they wanted us to pay $ 80 for them to enter. That comes out to only $ 4 a person but it was the principle of the matter. What kind of establishment charges women cover? Hot ones, no less. It looked dead anyway so just we took a cab to Toucan’s and all of the straight guys/girls that were there told us how shady and played out Space 120 was. I go to Palm Springs every so often and I will definitely not try to get in there again – and will discourage anyone else who may be interested. What can you expect from a «club» that doesn’t even have their own website? Not to mention that all calls go to a voicemail that is full? They need to come up with a new business model or they will continue to only have riff-raff frequent their club.

I didn’t like this place that much. The guy at the door was trying to charge us $ 10 each for a cover(3 girls), and I said no and started to walk away, then he yelled that he’d do it for $ 5 each. I was still going to walk away(I’m so over paying cover charges only find out the place is lame) but my push-over friend said YES! and then paid for all 3 of us. I would not ever have paid a cover for this place. THe bar was packed, we pushed into a little space and waited for the people ahead of us to get out of the way, and the bartender(James?) apologized for the wait and was very attentive. He told us to come see him for our next round and he’d be sure to take care of us. This earned this place the 2 stars from me. Packed dance floor with a lot of kind of ghetto early 20’s people. I did see some girl grinding on another girl for some lipstick-lesbian attention, and actually put her headup the girls skirt on the dance floor. Classy. The waitresses on the outdoor patio are harassed and you can tell, they’re kind of pissy but I’d be too. The crowd we saw there consisted of a bunch of jarhead type of guys that were so drunk they couldn’t decide how many beers to order and who was paying, and they’d be yelling for a waitress constantly. I felt bad for them. Not my kind of music really, although I did dance for a while, I just get over that kind of music quickly, and dancing when it’s a million degrees outside, and super hot inside too with all the people packed in there was not doing it for me. But we had paid a cover thanks to my friend and were going to stick it out. I don’t think any of us went to the bathroom, so I didn’t realize it’s outside and public. Doesn’t sound too fun.

Believe it or not, we could not find a non-gay bar on Unilocal in Palm Springs. Luckily for us, I asked the hostess at the restaurant about places and this was one of them. No cover charge! Drinks were pretty cheap but watered down. It doesn’t compare to the nicer clubs in Vegas and LA but who cares. You just want good music and a place to have fun. Music was pretty good. They had like 3 djs so depending on which one it is, the music varied. Restroom is in another part of the building. No AC outside the club so expect same temperature as outside. Since there aren’t many regular clubs out there, I would give this a 4.

So I heard this place was newer, but was surprised that I am writing the first review(unless I am looking it up wrong). I will start with the good… the DJ was Phenomenal, his mixes were smooth and fun to dance to. The staff was super nice, even when I complained. They do not have a bathroom, a guard lets you out through the back door to the nastiest public bathroom. For being such a nice club with a great DJ, it was disappointing to go into a bathroom and sweat more in there than you did in a club. Ladies, it you like to fix your self up after sweating your butt off on the dance floor, beware to be disappointed. I hope the manager reads this because I do understand that you are using a public restroom, but when you put a ton of money into a really nice club in the best place on the strip, you might want to think about putting some money into those public restrooms. I beg you! Fellow Unilocalers… let me know if this changes. Otherwise have fun dancing to the tunes of a great DJ!
