Terrible food, terrible service… Never coming back here again… Sorry, but we can Not recommend this restaurant… Having visited Several other fine restaurants in Palm Springs, don’t waste your time or $$$‘s on this one…

As out of town visitors, this was not a good experience. To start the hostess seemed very put out about seating is on the patio. Water was brought immediately. But it was awhile before our waiter came to get our drink orders. 1 ordered wine, which came in a individual screw top bottle and was not good. I ordered ice tea which I never got. When our food orders arrived the margarita pizza had very little tomato or basil. The 2 orders of crab cakes were almost burned. When we said something to the waiter, he argued with us, stuck his finger in on of them and told us they were fine. The outside was almost black. We asked him to take them back. He wanted to know if we wanted anything else and we told him we wanted crab cakes cooked correctly. When we finally got our food he told us he had tasted the first order and it was fine. What an ass!!! When he brought our bill we had been charged for the ice tea I never got. He never came back to the table to collect. Luckily we were paying cash. His tip was the $ 2.75 we were charged for the ice tea. Would never recommend this restaurant because of that waiter and hostess

Wow what a disappointment. My order was wrong they forgot the buffalo cheese my order comes with. We had to ask for bread MULTIPLE times in order to finally get it and same goes with the dipping oils. Won’t be going back there unfortunately.

My fiancé and I stopped in here while walking through downtown for Valentine’s Day. The hostess was really nice but we were seated at a horrible table right by the entrance to the kitchen. It was so loud and my fiancé kept getting his chair bumped into whenever someone passed. When the server came, I asked what the house red and she said rudely told me to look at the wine list. Overall throughout dinner she didn’t have good manners. The food runner was great and was hustling. Good, hard worker. I ordered the papardelle de telefono and my man ordered the rigatoni salas. Both were pretty good but not outstanding.

Boo — we drove from Cat City because this place advertises closing time 11 pm! I’ve been here several times before and liked it . We were greeted at the door 8:30 pm only to be told the manager has decided to close early… the patio was still active but the hostess apologized and closed the door! Can we turn this place into a Jack in the Box or someplace that isn’t so moody?

Straight from the freezer. Eveyone in our group, same experience. Bad service too. 2 rating due to decent patio. Don’t waste your time folks.

It is very nice to sit outside for dinner here. The quality of the food is OK but not excellent. Staff was friendly but not particularly attentive. Going to the restroom is quite an adventure here. All in all this place is definitely OK, but not spectacular.

We stopped in for desserts and drinks, lucky us! The tiramisu and cannoli are worth coming all the way back from the OC for! The décor is really rustic and clean. The staff all seemed great, our waitress was excellent.

Upon being greeted by the hostess, my husband and I asked if the pizza was wood-fired or cooked in a brick oven, the hostess said«yeah I think so». We asked if she could check and she went inside for a moment and recanted, «oh actually, yes, it is». We decided to eat there because we were in the mood for a wood-fired pizza and Birba was closed. We were seated outside and despite the constant draft of a sewage smell, we thought this would be a relatively quick dinner as it was 5:15pm and pretty early and the restaurant wasn’t busy. It took us about 5 – 7 mins for our waiter to greet us but he explained that he was triple-seated and he was nice, so fine. We ordered a caprese salad, sausage pizza and lentil soup. The soup and salad were decent but the pizza tasted worse than a store-bought frozen pizza! And as it turns out, this restaurant does NOT have a brick or wood-fired oven.

We came here on Thanksgiving when we were visiting Palm Springs. Service: 4 stars — Our waitress was great and the staff was quick with drink refills. Food: 2.5 stars — Our food was so-so. I had a pizza and it was not the greatest. We did like the bread though, that was tasty. Ambiance: 4 stars — It was nice to eat outside and Palm Springs is so pretty. We were not overly excited with this place, but it wasn’t awful either.

My husband and I came here on Saturday, 12⁄12 for our anniversary dinner. This was our fourth time coming here. The food was excellent, as it was the times we visited before. The service was excellent and prompt as usual. I don’t understand all of the bad reviews. Perhaps we’ve been lucky. The food came out fresh and piping hot. The tiramisu is excellent, a must try!

Overly salty Margarita pizza. When I commented on it the waitress said«yes it’s the cheese» which makes me wonder how often she has had to say that. Won’t be back.

An acquaintance suggested this restaurant. The hostess was sweet and friendly. Our waitress was accommodating but not friendly. Maybe she had a long shift or people weren’t nice to her. The bread basket was warm and delicious. The restaurant touts authentic Italian food yet their Caesar salad had tiny store bought croutons while the dressing was so-so. I ordered the Veal Parmigiana which was good. My wife had the Gnocchi which was so-so. The outdoor entertainment was very good.

I had spaghetti with meatballs and it was good. Just good, not great! Best spaghetti I’ve had so far has been at the Cactus Club, yes Cactus Club! My partners ravioli dish was really quite good. The restaurant itself seemed really authentic. Was cute.

Try the ziti all a caprese. It’s fabulous. The ambience here is wonderful for a romantic dinner. Great wine list. Ask for the table for two in the corner for privacy or eat on the patio with warmers keeping you toasty. Excellent service too.

We stumbled into this place since it was on Palm Springs’ main strip and we were craving Italian food. We were seated immediately. The décor was quaint though the entire restaurant is smaller is size. Our waiter was nice and helpful. The salad was very fresh. I ordered the Tagliatelle Crostacei(seafood pasta), which was wonderful. The temperature was good. The pasta was firm, which I like. The sauce was mild but not bland. The seafood was delicious. My GF ordered the Ziti Emiliana, which was not as good as the seafood pasta. Overall, it was an excellent experience. There are a million restaurants in Palm Springs but we would definitely visit Kalura Trattoria again.

I stumbled upon this Italian gym while on a work trip. The authentic Italian cuisine was delicious and the service was impeccable. The décor is airy, open and inviting and the ambiance was topped off by beautiful live Italian music. Highly impressed.

They have the look and the menu, but the food is disappointing. Looked like a nice place and the menu lured us in along with the nice patio seating. I went with the veal. Our plates came out extremely fast and pipping hot. Kind of gave us the impression they microwave a batch of food that’s been out for a little while. My veal was by far the worst veal I’ve had. It tasted and had the consistency of bad alligator instead of veal. The spinach and bread was nice. My girlfriend didn’t care for her dish either. The guy that comes out with the pepper and cheese was extremely rushed. In 2 seconds my whole plate was covered in parmesan. I thought I was getting spoofed in a prank tv show at first. Couldn’t even get words out fast enough to tell him stop and thank you. I’d imagine some of their more basic pasta dishes are a much safer call here. Nice ambiance, but the food was lacking. They do have a nice wine list and would make a nice place to enjoy wine.
