What a joke this place is!
A prime example of why Walgreens will go out of business in the US. Look for this store to close soon.
A total disaster.

I have to agree with another reviewer on here, Crystal is AMAZING and you (Walgreens) have a real gem *pun intended* in her!!!
I am pretty sure she is the ONLY one who actually cares in the entire place. I have spoken with several people who work in the pharmacy and they all act like they do not have time for you and are too busy and overwhelmed with work to offer you anything more than in/​out service.
I understand that might very well be true but it is off putting when you are treated that way from the get go!
Crystal takes the time to listen (wOw) and understand what you are asking without the «rush you out the door» attitude.
Attention upper management: give that girl a raise because she is this locations saving grace as you can see by the reviews and she is the ONLY reason I am giving it 5 stars.
Considering how hard life can be when you have serious health issues and/​or providing care for people with them, bravo to you Crystal!!!
The extra effort you put into your job really does make a difference in our lives so thanks to you

I wonder if Denise E. Is referring to the same troll of a manager I had the misfortune of meeting up with today. Deb is her name, vileness is her game. She is abusive to customers and staff… poor little ugly thing has to yield whatever minuscule amount of power she has over the unsuspecting. Too bad she got so old w/​o educating herself and adjusting her negative disposition so that she could get a real job and retire w/​dignity. Now she is stuck at this dump stocking shelves in the middle of the night. What a miserable piece of goods. There are so many competitors nearby w/​cheaper prices. This particular location is open 24 hours which made it convenient for this early riser, but given that Deb is so nasty, I will readily wait until 8 am when nearby stores open.

Store manager was bashing the pharmacist in front of people, it was the 25^th (Christmas morning). She doesn’t understand the idea of teamwork. The PharmD was taking his time to explain how to take medicine and what side effects to expect– I think it’s reasonable for someone to do a good job. At this point, there were other two people waiting to talk to him, because they won’t give the meds to people before that. Store manager was telling people that they were swamped, that she only has one pharmacist etc in a tragic voice! How about apologize and offer water? Pretend like you are a team. Stop being stressed, and calm people down instead of making them even more angry by the time they speak to your pharmacist. Instead, after pharmacist came back after giving a flu shot, she was there micromanaging and told him which person was next to talk to him (totally omitted the person that was the most pissed off at this point)…and then check this BELITTLED HIM by saying that he explained how to take the meds twice to this person and that’s why person #2 was PO. Person #1 had other meds she wanted to fill and at this point she was asking things a tech should answer. PharmD said to her ‘I’m just doing my job, please!’ Look, we all have coworkers we don’t rave about! But you my friend (store manager) need an in service pronto!!! And hello, disrespecting him and being counterproductive can only result in a mistake!

I have to say when I began Unilocaling it was all about the products and business. Then I realized it is all about the people who are there that REALLY make a difference.
I went to Walgreens today and have been for the past year and I once again got Crystal as my pharmacist assistant and associate.
I cannot tell you how easy she has made every transaction and answered every question I have. She has gone above and beyond her call of duty at her job to provide you with answers and comfort right to the check out process. She makes sure you log in to rack up your points or helps you know you can redeem them.
To who ever her boss is, you have a good egg in Crystal. She is about the patient and customer service. Another reason I come back to Walgreens.
BTW, (all the girls at the front do an incredible job)
I cannot believe Crystal can multitask and keep her smile on the entire time it is truly a representation of good selection for customer service. For real!

For the pharmacy only:
I needed syringes for an injectable medication. I was so relieved not to be treated like a crack head. I think I made the Pharmacy Tech nervous because she called over the Pharmacist. He was ON POINT! Super professional. If I lived here, this would be my Walgreens.

Standard Walgreens /​CVS fair. This location did have a better than average customer service as I was greeted through out. The Palm Springs hat and shirt ware were reasonable at 15 for two or 8 a piece, but their remaining selection was pathetic. Lots of good sales throughout the store, and staff there and willing to assist.

Only by coincidence did I run across the Unilocal page for Walgreen’s in one of my favorite shopping centers in Palm Springs. (SmokeTree) It was quite entertaining to see the negative comments made by most of the lower rated (one to four stars) comments. It makes me remember what and who are in «Drug Stores» buying product and especially medication. Wondering why these silly and trite complaints and rantings about the absolutely cleanest and best displayed and stocked, most organized with easily locatable items Walgreen Stores I have ever been — in the entire country. It make me remember why I like Palm Springs so much. Read the complaints for yourself and it is obvious why prescriptions are so necessary! Even though Palm Springs may be a «tourist town» — this store and staff are so helpful and try to locate whatever you need. Even if this store may not have it, I have had the manager locate the item at another store and I was able to pick it up at the other location or at Smoke Tree Store later. Reading the comments, you can judge for yourself who indeed is in need of medication and for the obvious reason. See if you get better service at other drug stores. I am thinking NOT! These same complaining people are ranting lunatics that are the same crazies that are out on the road, complaining at restaurants, and generally trying to make everyone as miserable as themselves. (Or maybe they’ve calmed down now they have received their medications — LOL) This particular Walgreen’s is definitely a flag-​ship store and Walgreen’s should be very proud to have a store that is so exemplary. And for the ranter that complained about the pharmacy being closed for lunch — that is at any drug store and I believe it is law. I see that it is posted and probably on the phone recording. For small stores with less volume than the big cities, it is rare that you can see a store with more than one licensed pharmacist on duty. I personally witnessed (who I believed was) the manager of this store take a dime out of his pocket to pay for plastic bag (the charge that the City of Palm Springs imposed to cut down on using plastic bags) for a man in line at the cashier and the customer was even more incensed that the store was being «sarcastic and ingratiating». It was explained that it was the charge imposed by the city and not something the store charged. He wasn’t happy and informed everyone that he was a tourist and should not have to pay such a charge and said that he would never return to Palm Springs. Wishing I had a dime myself to put on the counter, I assured the cashier how much I appreciated the ‘goodwill’ and I would be a customer for life after seeing how much was done to try to please the customer. Later I thought, I hope that customer went and complained to the City of Palm Springs and stopped harassing the retailers, and then took his bad attitude, plastic bag and never make good on his promise to never return to Palm Springs! «His kind ain’t welcome here in these parts!» I know you can’t please everyone all the time, however I appreciate all this store has to offer and the incredible cleanliness, service and selection! No better Walgreens on the map for sure! Keep up the good work in SmokeTree! Palm Springs is a great place to live and the stores in SmokeTree Commons are a shining example of why I love to live here! Thank you Walgreens at Smoke Tree! And remember, before you leave a negative rant about a store as excellent as this one in SmokeTree Commons, keep in mind you will have everyone read about how trivial and ridiculous your complaint is looking to the rest of the world!

I had a interesting experience at this store today. A couple of days ago I dropped off a script to be filled (I needed more of this medicine). Today I went to pick up my prescription they told me that they were not going to fill it so, I ask for the script back and i’ll go to CVS. The script was for an antibiotic for a tooth. They treated me like I was asking for heroin. Over the years I have used Walgreen’s, now they no longer want me to do business with them.
I suggest not using Walgreen’s.

Stopped in to make a prescription pick up. Crystal was at the pharmacy. She was helpful, courteous and pleasant. I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I made my way to the front and decided to pick up a bag of chips and some dip. Alice was at the front counter. Once again, a pleasant, courteous and helpful employee! I smiled as I left and was happy with the experience there!

Can we wait any longer for bad service? They put the wrong persons medicine in my bag so I went home with medicine for clamidia!

Pharmacist helped me with a particular issue/​problem, and I know he went far over and beyond normal expectations… all very willingly, without complaining. Great attitude, very helpful. Rx ready in probably less than 10 minutes. Only comment I would really have is that when you walk up to the counter, there can be 4 or 5 pharmacy people working behind the counter, and not one acknowledges that you’re there. It always takes too long for someone to offer to help you, or even say «we’ll be with you in a minute»

How do you spell inefficiency? The Walgreen’s pharmacy on E. Palm Cyn.
On the phone, on hold, three times, over 10 minutes, each attempt, trying to verify my doc faxed over a prescription, finally gave up and drove over. BIG MISTAKE. They close the pharmacy counter for an hour, on the weekends. CLOSED?! Yep, 1:30 to 2:30. So now you know, and maybe you won’t end up like me, wasting time and in need of a chill pill, too.
Would I return here? Nope.

I went to Walgreens with my parents as a child and have continued going there as an adult until now. I was there this morning at 10:15am, they had one person working the window as a line built up at the pharmacy. I waited 8 minutes and on my way out I passed a line of 7 people waiting to for check out at the front of the store.
I drove to CVS on Sunrise and Ramon, I went to the pharmacy window where a customer was being helped and a young lady behind the counter saw me arrive and immediately asked if she could help me. The pharmacist was extremely helpful and I received the customer service one expects from a business that wants my hard earned dollars!

Kudos to the Pharmacy department. I came here Sunday to see if the pharmacist could recommend something for my ongoing eye irritation issue and she id’d it and it worked. no more eye problems!
Btw the store music really sucks! It is similar to assisted living elevator music! BAH!

Lee in customer service was extremely helpful in helping me find my items and save $$$!
