I prefer carne asada fries from Mi Ranchito than this place. The fries were not cooked enough. I will stick to what I know and it isn’t this place, sorry.

Nice spot if you want tacos, fast! My second time eating tacos here and they’re very good. Not fatty like Mi Ranchito. I usually prefer taco trucks but they’re scarce out in the AV. Customer service is good and they assist you very quickly.

Im in loooove with the chamangos there ! they are amazing. Ive also tried the carne asada fries which are so delicous and really cheap! i would have thought they charged more for how good they are and how big they come! love this place.

4 stars for the Chamango Respado.

The Chamango was so delicious and wonderful that I am addicted. I went back to get one a few days later. Drove 20 minutes out of my way but it was well worth it. My husband had the piña colada, it was good but the Chamango was better. Visited a second time and tried the colada fresa it looked so nice and delicious but it was way too sweet. I won’t get that ever again.
The owner suggested two items, which happened to be the most expensive things on the menu as well. The cuban torts was a complete let down. It had deep fired melanesa, the meat was super tough, a slice of low quality ham and the sausage that was suppose to be in there was actually a cheap grade hot dog sliced in half lengthwise, yuck. The other item which was like a torts on a hominy flat bread was not tasty either. My husband chose two meats. Although we really liked the carnitas, they were fatty. The beef was diced and tough.
I will frequent the place for the drinks but not for the food. Too bad, I wanted to like the food. Other reviewers are right the respados are delicious.

I love this place. Good customer service and the food is AMAZING. not to much how yummy your raspados are! Love that you guys give our foods or drinks at a timely manner and you guys care about the quality you guys hand. definitely a go to place even a daily place to be!

They get 4 stars cause of their raspados the only raspados place I know! The food USED to be good now it’s not edible I tried the tacos their torta, carne Asada fries, and other things here and there just can’t last time I had a horrible stomach ache

They are very pleasant when you walk in, restaurant is very neat and clean. Food overall was ok. Carne Asada tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Al Pastor was much better. Portions and pricing fair.

Wasn’t so sure into walking in to a restaurant where tucan Sam is the logo to a Mexican Restaruant, but I miss judge the place. Anyways inside its super clean. Quiet. Food was okay. I order asada tacos they weren’t so good. Order Pastor tacos now I’ll be coming back for these. Also my drink I got a Chamango and I must say its delicious. Asada fries were good but a bit to expensive and light on the meat. Next time I’ll be getting the Pastor fries. Other than that this place was pretty great. I’ll be coming back once in a while.

I give them a 4 cause raspado r a 5 food is a 3… this is my second time back but this time just got raspado ’ s… I won’t get the food here ever again but raspado will have me coming back

This place is pretty good. I had the esquites (corn cup) & it was pretty good. A little small for the price but not bad at all. The chamango was great. The service was great, the cashier greeted me when I walked in and was really nice. That really makes it or breaks it for me. I will be back!

I loveeee this place. I mean it’s really hard to find the real bomb creamy vanilla flavor for the raspados. This place has it! You have to try it. I mean the other flavors are amazing I can’t knock them. So give them a shot. I haven’t tried their food but it smells gooood :)

I go to el tucan azul every few weeks. The have GREAT carne asada tacos, but their carnitas and pollo falls flat. The quesadilla con pollo, however, is quite excellent. The pickled carrots are very good, and I always get at least 3 sides of their delicious chile verde. Every Sunday, they have menudo. Today, I thought I’d give it a try. Biggest mistake ever. The menudo was bland and overly greasy (even for menudo) and it smelled like dog food. I will continue to eat here, as it’s within 200 yards of my house, and the carne asada tacos are awesome.

I love this place! It’s not always busy and packed like most little places. Today was really busy but even then they’re service was great. I ordered the fish tacos which was new on the menu; but even then they were amazing. It wasn’t fried like most fish it was grilled and they were delicious. Highly recommend them! And they have the best Chamangos in town.

Good place for raspados and chamangos the only other place in AV I saw selling raspados is the little mall in Palmdale Blvd. I can’t recommend the food as I haven’t tried it. The raspados I would recommend, good quality… Vanilla with lechera is the bomb!

This place is one of the only places I know that sells raspados and good ones too! Chamango is so bomb!

Have I made myself clear? This heavenly concoction is truly a gem. I wish I knew where to get one in LA.
We stopped in for some grub and refreshment and what truly stole the show was the chamango. I had the carne asada wet burrito and the BF had the carne asada torta. The food was EH, but the chamango was bombdizzle!

This place has changed owners to many times, it’s obvious when they change owners their quality of food and raspados keeps getting worst! When this place first open raspados were great… now I recently went and tried one, and it was not good at all… I need to find another place to get my raspados at in Palmdale. let me know if you know of a good place…

I luv this little place. They have a wonderful salad called the Tuca salad (grilled chicken, lettuce, pecans, raisins, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, and raspberry dressing); for an extra kick try adding the pickled carrots to the salad! I also love to order the freshly juiced orange and carrot mixed. Another nice addition to the menu are the chamango’s! Can’t go wrong here!

Great Tacos and Burritos at a great price! Authentic full menu. Best aguas in town! Best horchata I’ve ever had! Raspados, shakes.
And to add… Cleanest taco place I have ever seen! Only place I go for Tacos in Palmdale now!
