Let me start off with the bad… the guy wasn’t so friendly. That’s the only bad thing I have to say. Now on to the good… omg…I ordered the chicken kabob plate. It was delicious! Very flavorful and the chicken was moist. The slaw salad was good and crisp. The rice was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come back for the food(not the service).

Yummy sandwiches. My husband and I each shard a Gyro lamb sandwich and a falafel sandwich. I enjoyed them both, my husband really liked the Gyro. The rice was very tasty and very good prices on everything. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was tasty but the service left A LOT to be desired. No greeting when we walked in. We didn’t have a server, just the cook in the back who took our order and served us so no refills or anyone to ask us if we needed anything. The food was flavorful, fresh, and the portions were hefty so I’ll give them stars for that. Once we finished our meals though we sat around awkwardly and waited. Finally my husband went up to the counter and asked for a box and the check. When we left, no one told us to have a nice day or to come back soon. The business needs a crash course in etiquette and customer service. I don’t know yet if we will go back. Going out to eat is just as much about the experience as it is about the food. Definitely disappointed.

In search for a Mediterranean restaurant to eat, I decided to try this place. I ordered the chicken kabob. The chicken was seasoned pretty good and tender. It came with the normal salad, hummus, and pita bread. The pita bread, however, was pretty hard. It didn’t seem fresh. Also, I was expecting to get the tahini sauce for my kebobs but wasn’t served with it. My little daughter told me that the bald guy(cook) that works there needs to smile more and be personable. Verdict: Mediterranean Food?!? I Pita the Fool!

Their shawarma was just absolutely great. The chef came out and told me to order the chicken shawarma and it was just mouth wateringly good. Not only was the presentation good, but it tastes just as good, if not more. I recommend you all to go and try it out!!! ITISTHEBESTMEDITERRANEANRESTAURANT I HAVEEVERBEENTO!!!

My order got here quickly, they said it would be 30 minutes and it got here in 18. I ordered a gyro and the baba ghanoush. The baba ghanoush tasted burnt, not good at all. The gyro was ok, but I cut it in half and there was about 2 bites that had meat in them, the rest was all lettuce. And for some bizarre reason, there were pickles on it. I specified in my order that I needed the driver to bring change, and he didn’t. Overall, not awful, but I definitely wouldn’t order from here again.

I ordered the good old chicken shawarma and wasn’t disappointed. Chicken was nicely cooked and the rice was perfect. Vegetable kababs were a let down they were undercooked and tasted raw. On the outside they looked perfect though. I also tried baklava which was also good nothing exceptional there. I would came here since Malahi’s was closed, so a good alternative in the arid lands of Palmdale!

The food is very high quality. Their vegetarian falafel is probably the best vegetarian food item I have tasted in my entire life. The lamb gyros are super flavorful. Hell I don’t even like cabbage but their coleslaw is good. Most of their food is $ 5 – 7 so affordable and tasty.

Wow chicken kabob so delicious. We ordered over the phone after a very long day of driving. Our order arrived on time as promised and we were not one bit disappointed. The rice was also wonderfully cooked. Loved all of it.

I came to this place today after a friend recommended it, and I was not disappointed! I must say I’m loyal to AV Kabob in Lancaster but anytime I’m in Palmdale this will be my my new go to spot. I ordered the chicken kabob plate. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well, the rice was on point and came with a side of the world’s BEST hummus I’ve ever tasted! It also came with a sweet spicy cabbage salad which added a twist to the freshness of it all. I called in my order ahead of time and it was ready when I got there about 15minutes later, the gentleman was friendly, not very talkative though but who cares the food was awesome. I’ll be back to try the baklava soon!

Clean, friendly service, excellent food. I can be leery of young waitstaff helping in their family restaurant, but our waitress was friendly, polite, and very helpful. Service was timely. The food was amazing. Very fresh and well-prepared, this instantly became one of my favorite restaurants in the AV. The babaganoush and hummus were excellent. The restaurant is sparsely decorated, but was clean and comfortable.

Okay, so we’re back to give it another shot. This time we decided to order the hummus with mushrooms and also the spanakopita which is phyllo(or Filo) filled with spinach and cheese. The chef told us the latter would take 15 minutes to prepare because it has to be made fresh, and I’m always fine waiting for good food so I said okay. First came the hummus with mushrooms, onions, and peppers. It had a little bit of heat in the background, not too much, and to my surprise I decided it was absolutely delicious. I’ve never seen this dish on a menu before, so this was my first experience and honestly, Mr. Picky came up with a great menu choice. An unusual dish with lots of flavor. I liked the spanakopita, too, as it was definitely a fresh-tasting homemade item, a little different than the traditional version I have eaten in many Greek and«Mediterranean» restaurants, but nice. Mr. Picky’s dinner plate came with a beautifully dark Cornish game hen skin, I tasted it, and thought it flavorful, and was surprised to find the breast meat still juicy. I designed my own combo plate with lamb kebab ordered medium rare, Shawarma, and beef Kafta. Regrettably the lamb was served well-done…the chef volunteered to refire that. As before, the small slaw on the plate I thought was really delicious… in fact I think I could eat a bucketful of that and consider it one of the best things on the menu. When I didn’t see any of the Shawarma sauce, I specifically asked for it; many people may not like it, but I love to dip the Cornish game hen and meats into that earthy flavor(my feelings aren’t hurt if you are like Mr. Picky and don’t like it). Ranging from sweet to bitter are some ethnic«- ades» and I tried the lemon version. I kept thinking that I had never tasted anything quite like it, until it hit me that it reminded me slightly of a cream soda. We avoided what we did not like last time, experimented a little bit, and had some of the same things that we liked last time, and generally had a decent meal.(I still suggest you don’t order anything with Gyro here.) I think we actually preferred our two appetizer dishes to the entrées. We would rate this a «3.5» … while it isn’t the best Mediterranean food we have had, it wasn’t bad. Anybody out there know where we can get wonderful Greek food? I don’t mean Mediterranean, I mean real Greek food!

Real food, extraordinary quality and nice service! This is an authentic and original restaurant! Thanks God I found it! I’m tired of artificial food at chain restaurants!
