Just stopped there on my way back home. What can I say? The food tasted amazingly delicious. The customer service was excellent. Restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Also the place is under new ownership. If you like middle eastern or mediterranean food I would recommend to go there.

Well, I went in very skeptical considering I couldn’t stand this place when it was under a different name. I love Mediterranean food, especially being a vegan. Now my hubby went along me so we can share a falafel plate combo. Combo doesn’t come with a drink, so we ordered water. Service was ok. We received our meal in a reasonable time, server gave us an extra plate since she noticed we were splitting the dish. The pita bread was very thin, more like a lavash bread. Rice wasn’t as buttered as I expected, and seemed a bit overcooked, but not bad. Hummus was good. Plate came with 5 Falafels, and they were fried perfectly. I was surprised. Nice crunch on the outside and great texture in the middle. The salad was pretty good too. Wish more of it was served with the combo. I do see myself returning to try the Family Chicken pack for my kids. That will be the true test. In the past when I’ve called to order and have been told they were out of chicken. So we’ll see.

I’ve been to most Mediterranean Restaurants in the Antelope Valley and I must say this one here is on the top of my list. Not only was the food great but the service provided by the new owners was awesome!

I never had Kebob before but I’ve been here a few times now. Mainly because I eat Meat/Rice every day and I was in town temporarily so this seemed easy. It’s been good. My favorite was the lamb kebob. I tried their beef and chicken. Lamb was hands down the best, for me at least. Restaurant is super clean. Service is good. I’ve seen some people below complaining about the older guy. He’s not rude at all. Just quiet. He accepts your order and makes your food. Pretty much what he’s there to do. Some people just overthink silence and turn it into something it’s not. There’s a younger girl who works there too and she’s always super nice, talkative and cheerful. So there’s two levels of face to face service but either way you are going to hand them money and receive food that tastes good and no one is rude. Pretty much all you should expect from a restaurant. I give it a 5 because I’ve never had Kebob anywhere else before. I don’t know if it’s the best but it tasted great, had good service and was clean. All the checks that actually matter when you’re eating somewhere.

AWESOME! I keep trying other Kabob places and none of them come close. I get #7 beef kabob and it’s always tender and juicy. The Salad, Hummus & Garlic sauce are great also. If you love potent garlic… You’ll love the garlic sauce! I’ve been going for several years. When I’ve had a good week and I want to treat myself, I come here. The Lady/Mom is sweet, but if you can’t handle what you might think is Rude, maybe you should think about cultural differences! He might be frustrated with language limitations & the occasional Rude American ;) They could wipe down the menus more often.

The chicken kabobs are amazing. I’ve also had the chicken shawarma and it was great. The rice has a nice buttery, but not heavy flavor and the salad is fresh and a nice light dressing. They take a while to give your food because the kabobs are cooked to order, therefore super fresh.

I came on late while I was on the road headed towards Mojave. It was about 15 minutes before closing and I happened to spot this great location as I exited the freeway. I was very happy that they still took my order knowing that they were going to be closing in 15 minutes. As a hungry Traveler, and Middle Eastern, I was very appreciative of the wonderful food they made. I’m picky when it comes down to Middle Eastern food and I have to say that they truly know their craft. The Persian and Mediterranean flavors were wonderful. The kabobs 4 well seasoned and very tender. The next time I’m out that way I will absolutely have to stop in again.

I came here looking for a middle eastern type restaurant. It was my girlfriend and me. I ordered a gyro and she ordered a salad with the rotisserie chicken. My gyro was really good, unlike most place where you receive slices of meat, this place serves nice juicy chunks of gyro meat, yummy! But my girlfriends salad, I asked to taste it. The chicken tasted like it was made three days ago. I wanted to go back for another gyro but the salad turned her off completely and turned me off from this place! So eat at your own risk!

Food was great! Nice clean restaurant, fair prices on the food, and nice variety of food aswell but, the older man who works behind the counter is a bit abrasive to say the least, he happened to insult the owner of the company I work for out of nowhere because my shirt had the company logo. I am sure he doesn’t understand his comments are on the rude side but should focus on his customer service skills. Great food though.

Since Olive’s is closed we decided to try this place. I must say, it’s good. The rice I didn’t care for, nothing special however, the chicken and beef was cooked just right. It wasn’t dry. Overall a good taste. Will come here again.

Never even tried the food. They open at 11am. As a business, this means u are ready to serve ur customers at 11am. I stood there like an idiot for like 5 mins and no one acknowledged me. Nothing was ready, no chicken in the rotisserie and nothing in the spit. I walked out.

The owner is an arrogant man and very impatient !!! Served me cold pita bread with my whole chicken order. The chicken is always dry, i will not return for the sake of the owner being such a short tempered man! No wonder this place is always empty !

I’ve been going to Home Depot several times this week and couldn’t pass the place up so I decided to try this place despite the low reviews I’ve read here in Unilocal. The dining area is clean and organized as I walked in. I ordered the chicken shawarma which came with the usual salad, hummus, pita bread, and rice. The first thing I noticed was the huge serving of chicken. However, as far as taste and seasoning goes, I wasn’t impress with the chicken shawarma. Not to mention, a big disappointment was being served«COLD» pita bread. Like literally straight out from the refrigerator cold. It could’ve been at least reheated in the microwave along with the chicken for a few seconds. Verdict: Ate here… lived to tell about it.

This place has changed several times and when I saw under new management I figured I’d give them a try. They were fantabulous! the prices were reasonable and enough to have leftovers. They served you Russian Borscht soup and I could of had that all day long. If you live in the A.V. go check em out and if not, take a drive just because change is good.

I wouldn’t normally write a review. However, this place sucks! I read the reviews so I called ahead. The little girl on the phone had an attitude problem. I ordered a chicken kabob plate, no bigs. When I got there I saw it came with fries. My order wasn’t ready yet, even though the girl said 15 min. I asked if I could have rice instead since I didn’t know it came with fries. She acted like I was stupid for not specifying. I didn’t have a menu and they just reopened under new management. I got fries that were undercooked along with a pepper and tomato that weren’t really grilled. The meal cost 10 $ that’s ok but I didn’t get to enjoy it. So not a fan of your establishment.

Passed by and saw this place my wife said lets eat there we like this types of places that feel mom and pops but this place was not that. From the dry lulu kabab to the long wait and the sound of the microwave Cooking your food that was probably made 2 weeks ago to the dirty utensils and the cold chilly and tomato and the salad that was premixed 3 days ago the worst food experience ever first time I ever taken food back and ask for my money back it tastes like you were licking a dogs a****** which I think would probably taste better. And fresher and when I asked for a refund the rude cook /owner told me instead of giving me back my $ 26 he would only return 11 and told me never to come back if you’re reading this don’t worry about it I never will and I hope everyone reading this will heed my warning cuz my stomach hurt right after

Fairly decent, average for a kabob place. We ordered a kid’s chicken plate, a marinated chicken plate, and a beef shwarma sandwich. Flavor of chicken & shwarma were both fair. Rice was tasty. However, their humus was too sour, did not eat the rest after my 1st bite. The side salad that came with the chicken plate was also well seasoned and tasty. The restaurant lacks in cleanliness & ambience. It is creepily silent inside. All you can hear while sitting in the dining room is the constant & annoying buzzing of their open sign(I understand cutting costs, like the weirdness of having a nice tv but finding it off. Yet, it doesn’t cost hardly anything to mix some tunes and play it on a sound system with some soothing background of mediterranean music, etc.). Tables need to be immediately bused, and our table was sticky with streak marks; meaning, no one has bothered to wipe down the table in some time. Bathroom was dirty as well. Walls & baseboards have obviously not been cleaned in a very long time. Toilet seat had urine stains on the bottom(yuck), and there was a very strong cigarette smell inside(most likely from staff: who should rather smoke outside in the back, not in the restaurant). Quality of food & cleanliness of restaurant can improve. For kabobs, I have enjoyed Olives in Lancaster significantly more, especially in the area of food as the prices were about the same but Olives gives you much more food & food that tastes so much better.

I picked up some food to go after seeing this place driving by. Had to wait 20 min though! If you’re hungry, call ahead an order versus waiting. I got the chicken kabob plate($ 9.99) which came with rice, a side salad, roasted tomato and roasted pepper, hummus and pita bread. The chicken was made to order which is why it took so dang long but it was so good! Their Mediterranean rice was excellent as well. Hummus– ehh not that flavorful but the pita was good. The tomato was barely warm but still pretty good. The salad was a sadly wilted looking thing and not very appetizing and I didn’t eat the fried pepper. Oh! The guy at the counter didn’t mention their lunch combo which would have saved me 2 bucks. I was annoyed till I realized I had so much food I couldn’t finish that I saved it for my daughter for later! So that worked out actually. The non lunch combo comes with more chicken :) I guess they’ve been here almost 3 years but I was the only person in there at 11:30. I hope they stick around cause their chicken and rice are excellent.
