Today I had a great experience with a girl named Adrianna. she conversated with me as she made my drink and made me feel welcomed. I ordered a hazelnut latte with soy and the drink tasted wonderful. The quality of the drinks here are hands down better than Starbucks. Great tea and latte selections.

Great customer service and good selection of different lattes and teas. Sometimes Starbucks is a little too packed so I swing by Coffee Bean before work for a pick me up.

I really love their ice vanilla coffee. It tastes so good. The only reason why I give it 2 stars is because the employees are horrible. They are just plain rude and for no reason. Ive been to this specific location on three different times and every time they had a different person but always with a rude manner. If you dont like your job you dont have to take it out on the customer. They seriously need to teach them how to make the customers feel welcome.

Usually I don’t have a problem when I come here, today I came in and was greeted by the gentleman working(I’m sorry I didn’t get your name but thank you!). As I was about to order my coffee Adriana walked up to the register and I said hi she just looked at me. As we made eye contact I figured she was ready for me to order considering she didn’t say a word to me. So I ordered and paid and that was it. She never said one word to me besides«would you like a receipt?» No hello, no how can I help you, no thank you. Nothing. I received my drink and she put it on the counter said what it was and walked away. Terrible terrible service Adriana. Meanwhile you’re chatting to your coworkers super friendly. Maybe you should take the time to work on your customer service and greet your customers with some compassion. Again thank you to the gentleman who’s name I didn’t get that greeted me from across the coffee shop.

A cute and quaint coffee shop by the av mall. They have a good selection of drinks. Customer service has been either hit or miss, with rude service or everything being swimming.

I love this place… they always deliver. Hands down way more flavor and quality than most other coffee places. I’m a massive tea drinker and would recommend trying any tea latte they’re all amazing!

I came to try the new thai tea and boy, was it bad! The American coffee shops need to stick to what they’re good at, like coffee and american teas. I enjoy their vanilla powder based drinks, but not so much their teas. They don’t have any rewards programs like starbucks, but sometimes they offer a free beverage when you purchase a gift card. Their muffins are inexpensive and delectable! I love the lemon that they no longer carry. I don’t come here often because it’s pricey and they don’t have many locations.

I was visiting from out of town and couldn’t find a Starbucks to save my life, so I stopped into this Coffee Bean to get caffeinated. Glad I did. Very comfortable place, lots of seating. It was clean, the coffee was hot and tasted great. Call it timing but if you can relate to needing some coffee on a cold day and then walking into a nice warm place and a girl named«Rosa» smiles and hands you a steaming cup of coffee. Well that’s how it played out. Who needs Starbucks :} I have to add that their is plenty of parking and it was easy to get a pickup truck in and out without having to run over a Prius or two in the process.

Did not like this place at all. The staff weren’t sure what they were doing and we had to repeat our order five times. My husband and I are avid coffee drinkers and we were looking to try something new… Totally disappointed. The atmosphere was okay, except the weird propaganda on the wall by the bar. Prices were more expensive than Starbucks and we got less for our money. Not going again.

I would go to coffee bean alot more if they had a rewards program or if they had more locations out here in the AV. However, CBTL is always a treat for me. Staff is always friendly and they always make my drinks very well. My usuals: ice blended hazelnut, ice blended dark chocolate(and hot drink!), iced earl grey tea latte, iced english breakfast tea latte.

Friendly service and, for a buck, you can donate coffee to the troops with a message… how cool is that? It’s perfect that they’re next door to Nadia’s Cakes. I also like that they have self-serve liquid sweetener. The Mocha Latte is good, not as strong as the«S» competitor, and flavorful.

I like coming here but a few suggestions to improve the place. The men’s restroom is not maintained. One time I did alert staff about tissue paper running low. Plus, I don’t know if there is a cleaning schedule. I always see the men’s restroom a little messy every time I visit. Today, I ordered a regular Earl Grey Tea; but the young lady sold me a Latte Early Grey. I wondered why the tea was sweet. She should have asked what kind of tea. I hope they improve customer service and clean up restroom.

If Starbucks is the coffee industry’s «McDonald’s», then The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is easily a «Carl’s Jr. or above»(better, but nothing phenomenal). The drinks I get from CBTL are almost always miles ahead of Starbucks in terms of flavor and feel. The staff at this particular CBTL has always been good to me. Good music on the sound system. Decent prices. Here’s a tip though: if you get a non-blended iced drink, you will definitely want to specify«light/easy ice», as CBTL tends to stuff these with far too much ice, essentially making you pay 3 – 5 dollars for a cup of ice with a little bit of beverage thrown in for flavor. This location is convenient, and parking is relatively a stress-free ordeal. It’s CBTL, quick, tasty coffee. If you’ve had CBTL before, you know what to expect, as it’s just another chain coffee shop. Of course, it is no substitute for the individuality and excitement of smaller, more interesting coffee places. Butler’s Coffee is not even a mile away from here if you have the time. If you want to try some seriously good brews away from the AV area, stop by a place in Little Tokyo LA called Demitasse. Now THAT’s coffee. It’s things like that that I use as a benchmark for coffee. So, this CBTL is absolutely good for what it is.

Best Iced tea — REALBREWED(not powder shaken up with water and ice). Yummy coffee, no pour-overs but always fresh. Like the fact that it still has a coffee house vibe(instead of a retail counter). Would never think to sit down with a board game at Starbucks, but this place is pretty inviting.

Now that their WiFi is fixed I will NEVER go to Starbucks again! This place really has it figured out. Yes while some of their drinks look like Starbucks, I found out that the Coffee Bean started 50 years ago in 1963! They also started in good olé’ Southern California(Brentwood). Drinks are phenomenal and the staff is some of the friendliest in the valley. They really make you feel welcome! Try the Winter Dream Tea Latte and you’ll be hooked for good!

I LOVE this place! Their coffee is always perfectly done, where as Starbucks is always bitter. Plus, they’re next door to Nadia’s cupcakes(an evil if not perfectly planned move), so you can get coffee and cupcakes:)

There was no Starbucks nearby so I stopped in here to get coffee to sustain me during my lonely drive back down to San Diego. Funny, I still felt like I was in Starbucks when I walked in, when I ordered, when I got my drink and when I walked out. I ordered some sort of Mocha Latte or something like that, not too fancy. It tasted like Starbucks and the cup looked like Starbucks when I turned the name away from me. I’m pretty sure this is a Starbucks… whatever, the coffee did it’s job. =))
