Design Loft

We used Hellen for a paint color consultation when moving into a new townhome. She was very efficient, bringing (and knowing exactly how to use) full paint color books from all 3 brands our painter offered and provided extremely useful insight during her efficient 1-​hour visit, from brand and color-​matching suggestions to accent walls and lighting. She freely offered up suggestions about décor and furniture and was happy to work with the paint estimator that was on-​site to re-​explain and confirm everything we agreed lined up with the estimate they were providing.
We planned out the entire color scheme with 6 paint colors for our home, including some the complex spots where walls converge around the entryway and stairs. It was priceless advice and so much more than we could’ve ever done on our own, even though we fancy ourselves having an eye for design… we’d just be wandering aimlessly through our townhome with a few color swatches from Lowe’s. That was the best $ 95 we ever spent!

Hellen was the designer for our home improvement project in 2008. She was very helpful throughout the process, helping to pick out paint colors, hard wood flooring, tilesand furniture that complemented our Mediterranean style house and contemporary taste. She worked with our contractor to ensure everything goes smoothly, which enabled us to have our house warming/​Thanksgiving party in time. She was able to get discounts for our custom cabinetry, and she passed on the savings to us. All in all, I think the value of using a designer is that she saved us time, stress, and money, which more than justify the cost of her service. We love our house, and everyone who have visited us paid us compliments. Hellen has won awards in bathroom designs and we definitely will user her service in our upcoming bathroom remodel.
