worse store service ever. the wait is too long, people and store manager work on weekend there are terrible, they talked shit about customers. people work there are rude. I was trying to ask the assistant manager about the jacket she was holding, she gave me eyes ball then told me me to wait for another person to help me, and ignored me. on top of how rude they are to customers they made mistake on my purchase while they keep talking shot about customers.

I have been going to this store for the last 5 yrs; the store assistants used to be very friendly and helpful, especially the previous store manager Katie. However, the store assistants now are RUDEUNFRIENDLYUNHELPFUL and they literally make a face when asked for help. A new assistant IMELDA tops the chart of being with worst assistant. She had even messed up my 50 $ gymbuck; thankfully the 1800-service helped me out after I got back home, they even gave me an extra 25 $ gymbuck for the mess up at the store by IMELDA. If there’s any standard Gymboree follows in staffing their store assistants, this store is definitely not following the same. I’m pretty sure this store will lose out on a lot of their customers due to the deteriorating quality of the store assistants.

I shopped here recently for my cousins’ kids(ages 1.5 to 5). The clothes are adorable, however the employees at this store are simply rude(visited the store 3 different times this week and each time there were 2 different employees). These employees maintain strict poker faces and aren’t even warm with the kids that they interact with(let alone the adults). During one visit, I returned some items and their cash registers did not have enough cash to fully refund me my money(it was not a large amount). The employees went around to ask customers if they were making purchases of the amount they needed and asked them if they would purchase with cash. Shouldn’t businesses, especially a chain, have at least some money at hand so that they wouldn’t have to ask for money from customers? In addition, I received a coupon from Gymboree and they simply wouldn’t honor it! The coupon expires 4 months from now and all the manager(Ashlee) would say is «the computer says it’s an invalid coupon». I suggested that she scan the coupon’s barcode instead of typing in the code and she told me that their computers don’t scan coupons(seriously, what the heck?). She easily could have entered an override code, but instead of being a good manager and focusing on providing excellent customer service, she made me purchase my items without the coupon. I took the situation to their customer service, which quickly compensated me for my troubles. I highly recommend shopping at the Valley Fair location and avoiding this one.

we do shop here many times, never have a problem, but today was horrible, I did ask if they have this nice jacket on a different size. she told me not but maybe I should go to Target Store! nothing wrong to go Target but the way she mentioned it did not sound right! anyways, I left to shop at another retail store(GAP) and decide to get that first jacket, they were to other ladys which they were really nice, hopefully the first person that give the answer to go to Target dont forget that we as a Customer have the right to be treat it equal and not to judge or give answer like that, hard to find a job this days! be happy you have one and if she is not happy look somewhere else !

Gymboree does have quite a variety on clothing. What I dislike is how every time I walk in there’s always clothing on the floor and scattered everywhere. Customers decide they don’t want something and leave it anywhere which causes the store to look messy. When I do find something I like for my nieces or nephew, I can’t purchase them anything because they’re always out of the sizes that I’m looking for. Their employees are nice and helpful and greet you when you walk in.

good place to buy cute, colourful clothes for your kids, nieces, nephews, or other children under the age of 10. they have lots of great deals, and even better sales throughout the year, which is when i usually come to do my shopping. prices are very reasonable, certainly a lot cheaper than many of the other children’s clothing stores nearby. sales associates are helpful and knowledgeable. i recall one very busy saturday afternoon, when i had a question about the sizing charts, i asked an associate and she was most helpful in answering my questions despite the number of other customers who also needed assistance. definitely recommend coming here to purchase children’s clothes and shoes.
