So far I can’t even reach them on the phone. The new number doesn’t work, and their website is down for maintenance. no bueno.

So I put off buying an iPhone in Seattle for three months JUST so I could come back to this store and give them my business. As I wrote earlier, the integrity and helpfulness I encountered with the store manager here was unbelievable, and I wanted to reward them for it. However, AT&T and Apple no longer allow their 2nd party retailers to carry the iPhone. ONLYAT&T and Apple stores sell them. I was disappointed, I really wanted to give these guys a sale, and it’s a shame that the corporates are restricting who can sell their hottest products. So instead I bought an iFrog shell from these guys, and had them set me up with the correct texting plan(apparently it’s common that after an iPhone purchase the data/texting plans get a little hosed, and AT&T gives a nod to any of the retailers who check and fix that for their customers). I’m also planning on canceling my Apple service warranty and getting the full 2 year replacement plan AT&T is offering through these guys. So I got to spend a little money at a store that treated me right. And my iPhone is now a bright, coppery color. :D

I know very little about technology and even less about cell phones. Still, I like to keep up to date and buy the latest, greatest phone whenever it becomes available. I turn to the guys at the Cingular store in Palo Alto. They’re so helpful and they’re really nice, even when I come back to the store day after day because I’ve locked my phone and I still can’t figure out how to open it.
