Extremely delicious cones. Pricey, though if you get the sampler it seems like a better deal(you can also ask for 2 of the same item, if you’re unable to eat one of the 3 choices).

I was excited to try this and it was even better then I imagined the cone itself is crunchy flavorful and so much love is put into its creation from soaking the quinoa to the two sizes of cones and the beautiful carmelized color on it. Then the fillings are all bursting with flavor-so difficult to pick one try the combo of the 3 cones. I am a raw food lover but I most often have a paleo diet. You will not miss dairy grain or meat eating these cones. There’s contrast of sweet and sour texture contrast. The cauliflower ceviche is genius with the Avi topping and a nice kick of heat. The mushrooms in the others make it taste extra Meaty and I love the creamy puréed nut fillings on the bottom. I got the 3 minis anD my tummy was satisfied. only con is that this is not a franchise that I can find all over the country. Palo Alto farmers market is fabulous but this is its crown jewel! I’m so glad I also purchased some to go to share with my husband. I came all the way from Hawaii and this was on my top 5 things to try in ca! We went camping in the redwoods ate at famous San Francisco restaurants hiked the San Andreas fault all awesome but this will be the top of my list.

Tried the trio sampler and the cones were absolutely delicious! Rawdaddy’s is putting Raw vegan food on the map! Can’t wait to eat them again.

Tried the Spicy Thai cone and enjoyed it! Messy but tasty. I wish they had a full list of ingredients and calorie/macros available for their cones on their website. So simple yet so important for people who care about nutrition(and I think that’s who they cater to!)

RawDaddy delivers on its promise, I guess. You wanted gluten-free? Vegetarian? A story to tell your friends about some weird food you had at the farmer’s market that they probably have never even thought about in their lives? That’s RawDaddy for you! The service, even behind a food truck, is friendly enough and the workers are very willing to make recommendations. Unfortunately, that doesn’t compensate for the steep price and underwhelming flavors. I ordered a Very Berry cone to satisfy my sweet tooth, and then a Spicy Thai for some Asian flavor. Even though each of the fillings stood out temporarily, the accompanying cone ended up masking the flavor inside. Treat yourself to this once, if you absolutely must, but you’re better off spending your money elsewhere(and where the hype is actually worth it.) Extra points to you for your über healthiness, though.

I hired RawDaddy’s to cater our company Happy Hour. It can be a challenge for me sometimes as there is a wide variety of dietary needs, but I didn’t have to worry about that with RawDaddy as everything is raw vegan. Since it was a happy hour, I had them cater the small cones and picked 3 savory and 2 sweet flavors. It was the first time trying it for most people, and a lot were appreciative to have something healthy! I am happy with their service and I will have them again in the future. I think it’s a great happy hour/snack food, easy to stand and eat because it’s in a cone. My favorite flavor was the Italian, although I’ve been told its only seasonal.

High Quality + Easy Eat + Fun! It’s organic, which is a good thing, and my personal expectation. However, wow! Raw too! This cone just blows me away, it’s filling, satisfying and perfect. You can eat the entire thing!, no utensils required, just your hands :) We wanted another, but were surrounded by other food trucks to try(this was at the SFSOMA Food Truck Veggie Sundays). Can’t wait to try this again and I’ve been recommending Raw Daddy to folks who need catering/run larger scale events, it’s that solidly good.

Beware, I had these at the SOMA food truck fest & ended up in the ER. Never again will I have these. Not that tasty, would rather have something else. Thumbs down.

All of the flavors are amazing. It rivals dishes I’ve had at high-end veggie restaurants. Even the bottom tip that was just cashew cream cheese and cone was yummy. I just wish they’d update their web site to include other times and locations. I’d love more opportunities to eat this than just 1 day a week at the PA farmer’s market.

Absolutely delicious! We got the earth mushroom and polenta cone and the epic cone to share, and both were really tasty and fresh. All the ingredients are healthy and freshly prepared. Although they are slightly too small to be a full meal, they make a great snack and are easier to share than you might think. Definitely worth the $ 8 per cone.

I went to a party that Raw Daddy catered & the food was amazing! Everything was so flavorful & fresh. Even the meat-eaters loved it. We started with a delicious artichoke dip & cauliflower ‘ceviche’, the main course was a deconstructed ‘lasagne’ & dessert was the tastiest cone with pumpkin pie filling. Yummmm!

My first time trying RawDaddy’s Fun Cone was at the SF Vegan Beef Festival and I thought it was such a creative idea — a crispy seeded cone filled with delicious savory vegetables, and who would have thought that it’s all raw! It was definitely one of my top favorites of all the vendors that day. Last week I tried RawDaddy’s again at the Sunday California Farmers Market in Palo Alto. I ordered the mushrooms and polenta cone and it was just as good as I remember. It’s amazing how they get the vegetables to taste warm as if it had been cooked but they are heated with a dehydrator within the acceptable temperature to be qualified as raw food. Loved the delicious umami flavor from the mushrooms and the yummy polenta all within the crispy cone. It would be wonderful if they could come back to the Berkeley Farmer’s Market. Sadly, Palo Alto is a bit far for me as I’m from the East Bay so I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon. I look forward to any East Bay pop ups. Come back to the East Bay RawDaddy!

This is probably one of the funnest savory foods to eat. It’s a crispy, seedy cone stuffed full of fresh veggies and delicious sauce. You get a good dose of healthy plant-based ingredients, but it’s a major throwback to childhood, a much simpler time. Except back then, you probably wouldn’t want to eat your vegetables. I tried a bite of each of my friends’s cones. The Reuben one was really yummy, but the best one was the one with mushrooms and polenta, the one that Rosanne P. ordered. My Spicy Thai one was good, but lacking in heartiness. It was like a salad or coleslaw, although the sauce had a nice kick to it. This would be a good choice if you are eating light. In this case, it was probably for the best, since we were doing a mini food tour around the South Bay, and I had plenty of room left in my tummy for other edible goodies. If I was really hungry, I would probably eat two of these cones. One minor detail that makes this a 4 instead of a 5: I thought they were an all vegan food stand, but their signage says«vegetarian». Several items were listed as having honey, including their baklava(aw, sad!). They could make an easy switch to agave or bee-free honee and make their company 100% vegan. Then I would be able to order anything off of their menu, and I would be a very happy camper.

We needed lunch delivered for an office training for 20 people in Palo Alto. Allyson was incredibly responsive by email and gave us a pretty good deal($ 200 for 40 cones). I liked that she didn’t leave the options too open ended and had good suggestions ready for me once I stated my needs, especially since I hadn’t ever eaten the cones or knew the flavors. She suggested the Mushroom Polenta and Spicy Thai flavors, and said 2 cones per person was enough. They do have the BigDaddy size which would have been $ 8 each. The regular cones we got are normally $ 6 each, but we were getting a deal at $ 5 each. Overall this was quite a unique food option, which is what I was going for. Each serving of the Mushroom Polenta or Spicy Thai came in individual containers, and we got mini spoons to scoop into the cones. There was honestly more filling per container that could fit into one cone, but that was fine. They said we didn’t need plates — it’s meant to eat just with the cone and little container, but you did end up needing a The Mushroom Polenta was a little plain, a little heavy on mushroom flavors for me. The Spicy Thai was pretty spicy — we were impressed! We also got 10 Lemon Macaroon Cheesecake dessert cones($ 50) — these were thick & creamy in texture, a little more sweet than tart. I wouldn’t say 2 regular cones were quite filling enough for everyone — I usually eat a light lunch and even this wasn’t really enough for me. My co-workers weren’t super impressed, and there was a lot of leftover(we had exactly 2 per staff, plus the dessert). Maybe this is better for an even where people are walking around and they can hold the cones, but we were sitting around the conference room and this wasn’t as fun as I’d imagined.

I had RawDaddy’s cones last night at a friend’s party and loved them all. It really is a Great way to enjoy organic, vegan food. Superbly fresh, excellent ingredients and fun presentation. My favorite was the Spicy Thai cone but the Sushi and Mushroom cones were also great.

I’m a huge fan of meat… so that probably has jaded my view of this place. Sorry. I was at the California Avenue Farmers Market in Palo Alto and thought I would try their mushroom/polenta cone since I love mushrooms. It was decent, but really small. I didn’t think it was worth the money for me. They seem to make each cone individually, & after you order, so the wait can be pretty long after you’ve ordered your food. It is a fun idea, and something new to try, but in the end, just not worth the money for me. (I can get half a chicken for $ 2 more at the neighboring stall[which as a meat lover, is a way better deal {although I understand that won’t affect most customers here since this is meant for vegans}])

Raw vegan food is such a weird concept, but I enjoy it. My favorite is the mushroom polenta. Between the sweet and the savory cones, I will say that this kind of cuisine is not for everyone. That being said, there’s plenty to try out and I would definitely recommend it. The RawDaddy people are good at what they do.

Five stars just for making raw vegan gluten free food edible. I’ve always been a fan of healthy eating but find myself gagging at most vegan restaurants or options. RawDaddy’s cones are pretty delicious and you don’t «feel» like you’re eating something healthy. It’s just tasty! Yes it’s expensive. Each cone and drink is a whopping $ 5…I considered docking a star just because of how expensive it is, but for being quite creative and tasty, RawDaddy’s deserves the highest marks. Now if only they posted their nutritional values… I’m curious…

What a fun and awesome concept the RawDaddy cone is! I honestly wasn’t expecting anything when we arrived near Joanie’s for some food, but the lines were ultra long and there was a farmer’s market in progress so we promptly treated ourselves to random snacks as we waited. We passed by this stand, twice, and the bf was hesitant to even try because he’s definitely lactose intolerant and a lot of the items claimed to have«cheese.» However, to his delight, the cheese was really an almond cheese that had the same texture and somewhat taste like«real» cheese but of course no dairy! The mushroom cone was delicious and their Italian cone was equally yummy. They’re $ 5 each, but for the ingredients and the quality of the ingredients you are getting quite a bit. Each cone is delicious and delightfully paired with the appropriate condiments already inside and made by hand for you! Excellent, although you may need more than one to be full …
