ONESTARISTOOGOODFORTHISPLACE!!! I really wish no stars was an option!!! My sister was booked to stay here by Stanford hospital housing department so that she could spend the night for an early doctors appointment for my nephew because they live so far away but when she arrived was told she had no reservation. She produced her confirmation with confirmation number which they looked at several times, agreed she was at the correct hotel, and insisted she had no reservation. They said they were over booked & every hotel in the area was booked with no vacancies because of football or something going on in the area. The only solution they came up with was to offer her to stay in a dirty room that was already paid for that a man had checked out early from, no housekeeping there that night to clean it and wanted to charge her $ 60(her cost for a clean room with the reservation through the hospital is $ 20). When she showed the hospital confirmation showing her copay amount they insisted she doesn’t have a reservation and there isn’t anything else they can do for her. She was left with no other option but for her & my young nephew to sleep in the van in the hospital parking lot. The next day she learned that the hotel reported her to the hospital as a no-show. WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEANDCAREFORANOTHERHUMANEVER!!! I truly hope the manager and owner develop empathy and compassion someday until then stay as far from this hotel as possible!!!

I stayed here while my apartment was being fumigated. The room was fine – decent bed and shower facilities. I wasn’t really looking for much more. The front desk staff were awful though. The alarm clock in the room didn’t work and they refused, to the extent of name-calling, to replace it. To be fair, I may have been a bit worked up about this issue. I’m a college student and my major is hospitality and tourism. These people would have failed every class. AAA ended up giving me a 75% refund. Bottom line: totally fine for sleeping and bathing.

Are you kidding me? If you pay higher walk-in rates, maybe you can negotiate with the dishonest owner to not have the worst possible room. I booked online and I got a terrible room. It was so bad, I would advise anyone I know not to bid on 2 star hotels in Mountain View for fear of landing this one. The Manager is dishonest and made up baldfaced lies to placate. By doing so he refused to acknowledge the obvious room issue, which was brought to his attention immediately at check in. He is a difficult person. I could tell he was lying(«maid service doesn’t start until 10am» regarding maid closet adjoining room) and therefore refused the opportunity to resolve the issue reasonably. It was way worse than I could have imagined initially when I brought up my concern. If he had been honest, it could have made it right from the beginning and saved a guest needless suffering. Bed was soft, no support. Pillow like decomposing bags of garbage. er plastic swadling, pain-in-the-neck. Manager did try to make it up, after the fact. But what good is that? Damage is done. The rooms are sticky with pesticides and still have bugs. I would not stay here again, even for free. Hot shower was only decent thing here, but the water was yellow brown. I’d have had a better night of sleep, if I’d slept in the car.

My wife and I frequently stay at Sky Ranch Inn in Palo Alto. It is inexpensive and convenient to Stanford Hospital and Clinic. Besides being clean and conveniently located, it has many amenities. They are: Satellite TV, Free internet, Iron, ironing board, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, hair dryer, two bottles of Orange juice and two, packaged coffee cakes. The managers and staff are very pleasant!
