Reliable pizza at a reasonable price. The crust is a bit doughier than most, but the bottom is nice and crispy. It’s also never crowded!

We ordered a pizza at 5:40 and they said they would deliver it within a hour to an hour and a half. At 6:30 we decided that we would give them some extra time to deliver, but at 7:30 we called them and they said«we don’t have that order». We waited TWOHOURS and then had to order another pizza. Next time I’m going to Dominos.

My friends and I ordered a pizza and they told us it would come in around 1 and a half hours. It never came! We thought that maybe there was traffic so we allowed them more than 2 hours until finally calling them, and they said they didn’t even have our ORDER!!! We were hungry and were forced to order ANOTHERPIZZA that would take ANOTHER2HOURS! Thanks Spots, not going here again.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. We called at 5:40 and they told us it would be 1 hour and 10 minutes. At 6:20 we decided we would give them extra time just in case there was traffic. We eventually called at 7:20 and they said they didn’t have our order. WECALLEDTHEM. We re-dialed the same number, it was the same place. Thanks to you Spots Palo Alto we were starved. Don’t order here, their service is bad, they forget orders, and they will make you starve.

Good tasting pizza. Not pretentious just give me the pie. Always fresh and hot. Salads are bountiful. Friendly staff. Prices are fair. Parking nearby. My pizza stop on way to watch Stanford play.

I remember spots from high school, though I never tried it in school I’d tried the pizza some years ago and remembered it being good. So, on a particular day last week, whilst starving, I decided to give Spots another try. I think I was looking for a bit more from them in terms of taste. I got the«hiding spot» I believe, and it was pretty good. The tomatoes tasted fresh which I very much appreciated. But there just wasn’t anything super special about it. I love pizza, and I love finding new places that Rock. Unfortunately, Spots was a bit dull for my taste. They stand at 3 stars because the garlic cheese bread was seriously overrated. Not good at all. I will say though that they have pretty great service. Owner sounded like he was having a tough day when I entered but he was still super nice and sweet.

Do NOT rely on their pickup times — they are wrong more than HALF the time and always have an excuse as to why they didn’t have your order ready(or forgot it altogether)…

I love ordering pizza here, since I work nearby. The service is usually always friendly and my pizza is always nice and toasty. Can’t say I’ll eat here again, when the cashier makes me seem like I’m the crazy one. I came this morning with the intention of buying a single slice pizza. She told me it wouldn’t be ready for another 5 – 10 mins. I came back 20 minutes later and she gives me a confused look, as if I have mistaken her words. She then said that it’s only by order and that she could place an order for me right now for a mini pizza. Where was all of that when I first came in? I would’ve placed an order and came back. I waited and wasted my time for nothing. So please, next time, make it clear to your customers.

I love this place! I wish it had a better rating because the lunch deal is such a good bang for your buck! Every time I’ve eaten here, I’ve been satisfied.

I got a medium(12″) pizza with ham and bacon for delivery after seeing the stellar reviews this place got on Unilocal. Therefore, my review is solely based on the experience I received from delivery and the quality/taste of the pizza I ordered. The delivery was fast– I was told the wait is about an hour, but it actually took about 40 minutes. No complaints. The pizza was mediocre. It looked nice but tasted very unimpressive. To be honest, I actually prefer the pizza from Dominos and Papa John’s over the one that I had here. The one thing that specifically bothered me was that the pizza was very dry. The crust was soft and puffy,(which is kinda nice), but there was a lot of it and very little sauce and cheese. If you go into photos Tina N. posted a photo called«Spot 8.0 combo» that shows this imbalance perfectly. And you know how you can see some wet, oily, saucy goodness on top of pizzas? The part the some people soak up with napkins? There wasn’t any of that.

Our family’s favorite pizza delivery for dinner or potlucks. We like the cheese pizza, cheesy garlic bread, buffalo wings and mixed green salad with ranch dressing. Delivery service has never let us down!

If I could give this place no star I would and the only reason they get one is cause this pizza is good I live in East Palo Alto and I know it could be a rough place but when I place a order at 11am and I live across from a library and two blocks from the police station and you call me back 45 mins after to tell me that you can deliver to EPAWHATKINDOFBSISTHAT wow and here I thought times have changed yeah right

This is a really chill pizza place. It’s a block off University, so it’s less crowded than other pizza shops. Its pizza is also a lot better in terms of quality than those of California Pizza Kitchen and Pizza My Heart. They don’t skim on their toppings or on their thick crust. The combination and meat pizzas are delicious. Of the several times I’ve been here, I have yet to dislike anything. The staff are extra friendly, and it’s just a relaxing diner in an otherwise busy downtown.

I got mini pizza special combo(Hiding Spot) for $ 8. The cashier girl was friendly. Since it was our first time here, we had questions about the size and combinations of their pizza, and she answered all of our questions very patiently. The pizza was decent and the salad that came with the combo order was a good size. They played pop music in the store too, so it was nice to chill out. For the price, this place earns its 4 stars from me for the quality of the food and service.

Had a late dinner here a few nites ago. I ordered a slice of combo and a slice of pepperoni for my daughter. Pizza was good size and good. Toppings on combo were good. Not too shabby. I’d stop by again if I was in the area.

Small cozy place with a large screen tv that serve great pizza. The location is hard to find if you are driving. They are located near Alma and Hamilton. Man, this place sure has yummy pizza. Even though I had drive past this place many times, I would never know its existence if not for Unilocal. Agreed with fellow Unilocalers that their crust is great.

This wouldn’t pass any New Yorker’s criteria for what a «slice» should be like — the slices are modestly-sized, and the crust is actually kind of thick.(Not deep-dish thick, just not New-York-thin.) But it hit the spot. (Pun only slightly intended.)

The Spot is my spot for pizza in Palo Alto. They always have coupons in the Stanford directory or the Val-Pak coupon mailers, so I decided to check them out. I’ve picked up pizza, gotten delivery and also ate in with my family. Being downtown, it’s often a challenge to find parking. I usually go around the corner and park on Alma or the parking structure between Alma and High Street then walk over. All of the times, I received very friendly service. We usually get the combination pizza. We don’t like olives, so they ask us if we want to substitute a topping. Bacon? No problem! An extra large pizza satisfies my honey and our growing teenage son with a couple slices left over. Their crust is a nice balance of crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They’re not stingy with the toppings either! Prices are reasonable and you get a discount with Stanford employee/student ID. What are you waiting for? Get your Spot on!
