This is BYFAR the WORST Starbucks ive ever been to in my whole entire life. First off, the baristas move at snails pace. The young girl who took our order tonight was SOFREAKINGRUDE in her tone of voice to us and she had a major attitude problem. I Dont know if it was because she wasnt raised properly or if she was having a rough day, i dont know. So i asked to speak to a manager. I told her her baristas were rude, and especially the girl working the register. She looked at me with a blank stare and didnt believe me so i kept having to tell her how her attitude was wrong and she shouldnt treat customers that way. She didnt apologize on behalf of her employee, nor did she even seem to care. What a complete joke as a «manager.» I guess i shouldnt expect too much from staff that consists of uneducated, illiterate, ignorant, little girls. Id rather drive a mile away to the starbucks on university ave than to come to this one again when its right across the street from me. What a waste. This location would do a lot better if they distinguished the entire staff, especially the manager, and hired on a complete brand new one that consisted of people who actually knew how to interact with other people with respect and manners. And a little side note: the customer after us was ignored for about 5 minutes, even after attempting to speak to two employees. Ridiculous.

I LOVE all the Baristas here! They have such a positive attitude even when the line wraps around the store like a snake! lol Another plus is that they remember your order and name! It really makes it so fast and easy in the mornings to grab your drink before work. Thank you!

The staff is always friendly, but the service is infamously slow. But the convenience of it being so close to my work(the hospital) that it’s hard to give them less than 3 stars! They open early and close late, so I sometimes even go after work to study or do homework.

Pretty typical Starbucks, staff is usually attentive although I’ve had some mishaps but thats pretty typical for any chain/anywhere. The new remodel is pretty nice, it gives more room for a large line(per usual) and a good place to stand and wait for your beverages.

Came here with no one in line, granted, it was a weekday. I honestly think the barista taking the order is making up drinks and refuses to even listen. A blended strawberry lemonade is not a smoothie or a tea. My boyfriend kept repeating his order, and all she says is, «Smoothie? Smoothie, yes?» The other person who made the drink literally poured half strawberry purée and lemonade, when my boyfriend specifically asked for it to be blended… I wonder if this Starbucks is HELL during the weekend…

I love Stanford Mall and I equally like caffeine. This location is very similar to other locations except it gets crazy busy. The line snakes around inside and the service is very slow. However, there is plenty of seating outside for everyone in the line. The ample seating is what keep me coming back to this location.

I should have cut my loses and done a 180 but I stuck it out. This Starbucks was in complete shambles. Trash on the floor and tables, the food on display looked inedible, and the dude taking my order obviously didn’t want to be there. I ordered 2 hot chocolates and needless to say it was completely disappointing. I wouldn’t normally complain about $ 6.50, but these drinks and the«barista’s» attitude completely sucked. I can’t believe I wrote«barista», but I am sure he is fond of that title where I’d be embarrassed.

Pretty nice place I love there. Since I work at the mall I go there like 3 times a day ~ and yes there there may have line sometime but that’s totally fine coz its a shopping center and is going to have lots people there. Just like u want go inside of Disneyland than u have to wait. I don’t see what’s wrong with that .Let’s be understandable. I like Jose and their manager all of them r really nice , a little chitchat while waiting for my delicious coffee. It’s pretty nice

This starbucks just got remodeled and also had a change in staff, both were really needed. Nice mall, needs a nice starbucks. Staff needed a change to get better people, which they now have. My favorite baristas are Eric and Jose, these guys know my drinks, have a good chit chat, and enjoy their job. They make it a great experience coming into this Starbucks. Thanks guys!

Worst Starbucks in the area. Slow. Very long lines. Lines always wrap around the restaurant

I normally wouldn’t Unilocal about a Starbucks… it’s Starbucks, what could I possibly add?! But I just can’t help myself here… Regardless of the time of day, day of the week it’s always busy(which isn’t a bad thing) but the line for some reason hardly moves. It’s so incredibly slowwwwwwwwww and I don’t know why. They need to work on their flow better. Speaking of better, congrats on their new remodel, it’s much nicer and open but no point when the line is out the door and not moving along.

Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Only 2 people working on a busy Sunday. 20 minutes and counting and I am still waiting for my dumb drip coffee.

My favorite starbucks to come to! Service here is always great! The baristas here are always friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The location its self is nice with outside seating available to you.

The location for this Starbucks is kind of unusual in that it is tucked in the middle of the mall. This is a small store with very limited indoor seating. The mall does have a lot of outdoor seating. Overall it’s a Starbucks with their typical menu. Nothing exceptional or negative to add to this experience.

I understand that this is the only coffee shop at this mall. This means most folks come here. I only wanted some freaking hot tea because it was 44 degrees outside and I had about a 25 minute wait for my lunch table. Walked in and stood in a long line. From what I’ve been told, the line is always long here. Again, they’re the only coffee shop. When I got closer to the register, I kept peering past the counter to try to see what flavors of tea they have. A couple of things. 1. I know they carry Tazo tea bags. 2. Tazo names their teas shit like«awake» «zen» 3. Menu board didn’t list the actual flavors of the Tazo tea. 4. The tea boxes are way back against the wall so I can’t even read it. When I finally got to the cashier I asked her what FLAVORS of tea they have. She gave me the most exasperated sigh with a touch of an eye roll and started rattling this back to me «Tazo. Earl Grey. Awake. Zen. Passion. Green» I was pretty put off by her attitude. She still didn’t answer my question. WTF is awake? Wtf is zen? Rather than annoy her further, I just said green tea. She took my cash and called for the next customer. I tried to wait closeby for my drink but the crowd just kept building. A few minutes go by… My gf and I are waiting for our drinks. I couldn’t see the register anymore because there were so many people. Soon, people who were behind us in line got their drinks. My gf asked if my tea would come from the pick up area or the cashier. The Starbucks employee said from the cashier. Oh wonderful, I have to deal with Miss Thang again. I shove my way through to the register and Lo and behold! There’s a drink waiting there! I asked her if that was my green tea. She didn’t know. Then she asked someone else. Then she said«Zen. You ordered this. Zen» honestly I don’t know wtf flavor zen is or if that was even really my tea but I was so fed up with this whole ordeal I just took it. When I grabbed it she told me it had been waiting for me. She could have at least called it out, geez. When I told her this she told me I should have paid attention. C-U-Next Tuesday, get some ZEN in your life. Namaste

There’s this one really annoying cashier guy who is fat, bald, with glasses — avoid him! I’ve ordered from him 3 times and each time I finished ordering I just wanted to punch his face. He tries too hard to up-sell and is just too overly friendly in a very annoying way. He asked me a laundry list of questions and sometimes just make an order very complicated. No, I don’t want a grande. No, I don’t want any pastries. No, I don’t want a banana. No, I’m not hungry. Yes, I am sure. I just want to order my god damn latte! Other than that, the drinks are good.

I usually hold Starbucks locations to extraordinarily high standards since I know corporate leadership is superb. Unfortunately, the handcrafted blended beverages don’t meet my standards at this location. They aren’t awful by any means, but they are certainly not anything to rave about. The baristas often do not add enough foam to my lattes. I would like to commend the excellent distribution practices at this location though! The store manager must cordinate with Southwest Traders to have an ample supply of baked goods and packaged foods at all times.

I come to this Starbucks a lot since I live down the street. The best time is to come in the morning before the mall opens. Plenty of parking then. Otherwise, expect no parking and a line out the door. I’m usually not in a hurry so I don’t mind. There’s barely any seating inside. It’s nice to take your drink and sit outside to people/dog watch. The baristas are friendly and get my drinks right so I can’t complain.

Although this place is tiny with awkward seating, it has plugs and some comfortable chairs to lounge at with free wifi while you sip your drinks with your dose of caffeine for as long as you want. It can get chilly, but there are plenty of drinks and snacks to warm you up. If you’re meeting folks here, tell them it’s next to Jamba Juice near Macy’s. Otherwise, it’s hard to find given it’s hidden in the alley and Google has the wrong address. Parking can be tough given the lot is always packed.

Can’t ever forget about this Starbucks. Would come here during breaks when I used to work at this mall. Who doesn’t go to Starbucks during breaks? Many people do. Perhaps that explains the really long line. But why wouldn’t it be worth it? Across from A&F …
