I was trolling the web for a good, inexpensive place to cut my long hair… checked out Groupon and found Genesis. Unilocal featured a very recent 4 star review and decided to take a chance and called the salon to see if they had an opening on Saturday afternoon. As the other Unilocal reviewer mentioned, the Salon isn’t very modern or high end, however, Norma(I believe she is the Owner) was fantastic! She is very talented and her overall demeanor was very professional and made me more comfortable with my decision to lop off 8″ of my hair. Am I glad I took the chance with her… I LOVE my new hair cut! I got more than I asked for and will definitely come back in the future. p. s. the salon is located inside the plaza and is obscured by Starbucks…

Used a groupon here for a haircut and left really happy. I got exactly what I asked for and would come back in the future. The Salon wasn’t very modern or high end but I would return for the talent. At the end of the day I care more about the service and talent then the décor
