Starbucks

It’s Starbucks, you either like it or you don’t. This location is near the Cal-​Sag trail, so it’s convenient for cyclists, runners, and walkers alike. Probably the best staff I’ve ever experienced at any Starbucks. Always great service, and a correct order. It does get busy, so be patient. Only complaint is lack of bike racks. Not a lot of places to park bikes or strollers. Stop in!

Starbucks, you lacking. My drink was $ 4.27 and now it is $ 4.31. What? Starbucks, the ingredients didn’t go up? So tell me why my drink went up?

I came here on a rainy afternoon with a group of friends to study. The area was clean and I liked that they had these portable phone chargers. I don’t go to Starbucks too often so they might have these at all locations, I just thought they were cool. Nice place to study.

I’m only giving one star because SOMETIMES they give me the drink I actually ordered. I really dislike this Starbucks one, because more of the times I’ve gotten coffee they they have messed up. Two, seeing that their baristas mess up so much I really don’t think they know what they are making. The older lady at the front register told me an iced coffee and a latte are the same thing and I ordered that and it was good so the next day I ordered the same thing (vanilla caramel iced latte) and the girl in the drive through asked, which do you want an iced coffee or a latte. One day I ordered a salted caramel white mocha and they gave me a salted caramel hot chocolate, they even forgot the white mocha. Today I ordered a salted caramel white mocha frappuccino, they gave me a white chocolate frappuccino. I should have leavened my lesson by now and try my drink before I leave the window but the only reason I kept my drink was because it was pretty good. And I’ll add the only reason I continue to go to this Starbucks is because it’s the only Starbucks on my way to work with a drive through. I really think at that particular location they should take the time to teach the workers how to make the drinks they sell and what people ask for also listen to what the customers want

Nothing against this Starbucks in particular. It’s just that Starbucks sent me a notice that you’ll receive a $ 5.00 gift card for every bag of holiday whole bean you purchase. I bought a $ 50.00 gift card for someone yesterday and got zip!
Actually I do have one issue with this particular location. I use the mobile app to order and when I show up they never have it ready and make it while I wait.

If this was not the closest location to me I would go to another one. They cannot take simple instructions and always mess up my drink. I always have to hand it back at the window! Customer service is terrible as well.

Go here almost every morning and I am always greeted with people who are excited, smiling and being very polite and respectful. Not a big fan of chains in general, but this crew is outstanding. Not 5 because the price.

Nice location. Spacious inside and outside seating. The staff is always super friendly and the drink taste is consistent each visit.

Go to this location once day. The staff knows my order have it ready when I walk through the door. Take my mom there on Saturday mornings. The sitting area is comfortable and we really enjoy it.

I went to this location earlier today and the staff was very friendly. The drinks were fast and when I got my really inexpensive refill they were super cool. Used there wifi and it was easy to connect. Drink was well made. Great service as always

The workers at this locatoin are great — very friendly, fast, efficient, and this location is always clean and well stocked at the condiment bar.
Great place to grab a coffee and head over to Lake Katherine after and walk.

I disagree w/​some of the negatives here. Have always had friendly baristas who often remember my drink preferences. At least for the evening crew.
Coffee is made as I ordered it– without error. Only complaint is the crowd on the patio that is always smoking. And it’s 3 feet from the door– drafting inside. You’re spoiling everyone else’s relaxation.

Was in and out quick… they brewed hubby a fresh pot of dark roast and the frappes were ½ off all week. I can’t complain!
Friendly staff too. I did notice counters were really messy though.

What a relief to find a Starbucks on my new commute home. This place is saving lives, people! They are keeping me alert behind the wheel!
I have only gone through the drive through and each time my drink has been perfect. Plus the barista who seems to be working the same shift as I am is a personable friendly guy.

Cold environment. It’s strange getting that vibe in lovely Palos Heights. I would only order something simple here, because your drink will more than likely not be made properly.

I honestly hate to write a straight-​out BAD review of any Starbucks, but I have NEVER had a decent drink here. Never. I used to stop at this one all the time in my travels, but after… say…the fifth or sixth horrid drink, I started skipping it entirely. Do you have any idea what it means for me to actually *pass* by a Starbucks, denying my central vice? Inhaling that sweet scent of caffeine as it drifts through my open window, beckoning me with its siren song?
Yeah, it’s *that* bad.
The straw that broke the camel’s back? I ordered a soy cappuccino. As anyone who exclusively drinks non-​dairy milk can attest, with one sip you KNOW whether or not you’re drinking «the real thing». When I confronted the young (and perhaps new?) barista about my concerns, she flippantly replied «Oh, yeah. Well, we were out of soy milk. So it’s non-​fat.»
Well, thank god I don’t have a severe milk allergy.
Why not just say that when I ordered? I could’ve dug an Americano, a tea, anything. *shakes head*
