This is our favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant. The pizza both thin and deep dish are great as well as the dinner choices. I love the minestrone and the meatball sandwich. All servings are generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. We love the relaxed atmosphere.

I’m all about service and the service here is always exceptional. Now let’s talk about my deep dish pie. Their sauce is very delicious they put just the right amount of sauce on the pizza the cheese is authentic and delicious. I went ahead and order the soup and a salad to start things off and also fresh and delicious. I’ve been a fan of this place for the last 10 years

Julianni’s was formerly a Giordano’s franchisee. I guess the owner had enough of it and renamed it while creating a better menu. The establishment was remodeled a few years ago and it looks great. The menu has a great selection of salads, sandwiches, pasta, and of course, pizza. My personal favorite is the Italian sub. The menu boasts a regular beef sandwich but I prefer the spicy beef(formerly«beefo loco» or something like that). It’s outstanding. The turkey sandwich and meatball sandwiches are awesome as well. On this most recent visit I ordered the chicken and ribs which were very good. The bar is well appointed too. Julianni’s has a good selection of craft beers and wine plus I always get a Sam Adams draft. Service is always good. The atmosphere is lively. You see families, older folks, and even people on dates in here. I highly recommend Julianni’s. Don’t forget that Roger the Magician works the room on weekends. He’s slowing down but he can still wow you with a trick and knock out a cool balloon animal.

I have to say that it is a weird sensation for someone to recommend a pizza place within 10 minutes of my home that I have never been to before. But that’s what happened with Jullianni’s. I’d been to the plaza before, heck I was practically raised at Tastee Freeze. My neighbor said that Jullianni’s was their go-to place for pizza. I had seen it there but never ordered or eaten there. So one week night, we ventured here to dine in and have some pizza. We were both blown away. The inside is cozy and a lot nicer than the places we frequent often. But it isn’t so nice that we felt out of place or weird(though because we lack children, people think we are younger than we actually are, win, win). They had a nice pizza special, buy one, get one half off. After some debate, we got two small pizzas with mushroom and pepperoni. Though I argued we should do different toppings, the fiancé said why ruin a great thing. We also decided that a place like this would have superb mozz sticks. So we ordered that as an appetizer. Also, they bring out bread and butter. A nice touch in my opinion though I wish there was olive oil on the table for dipping! The mozz sticks were out of this world. Perfectly cooked, nicely breaded, and not too hot that we burned our mouths. We declared to have a new favorite place to order mozz sticks. Then our two small pizzas came. First, we left with one of them in a to-go box and argued over who gets to eat the leftovers. The pizza was delicious and super flavorful with fresh ingredients. The service here isn’t super fast, but they aren’t pumping out crappy food. So sit back and enjoy the mounting anticipation for pizza! We will definitely order from here again and might order take-out sometime soon. A great place for pizza! We didn’t try pasta, but I’ll update my review when I get to the rest of the menu.

I would have given this restaurant more stars if we actually had good service, the pizza we had(even though it was the wrong one) was delicious!!! We were sat at a booth and had no acknowledgement from a server or busboy until I had to go to the hostess area 20 minutes after just sitting there to let them know that we never had a server at our table. Once she got to our table, she was fine until our pizza was taking a VERY long time. The menu said 30 minutes for a thin crust pizza(which is what we ordered) and at the 45 minute mark, I asked about it. She informed me 5 more minutes, I then knew something was wrong. Out she comes with not only the wrong type of pizza(stuffed) but also the wrong ingredients(ordered all sausage and half green peppers, received all green peppers and half sausage). She asked if we wanted her to put in another order for the thin crust. Um, NO!!! We were starving and just wanted something to eat and did not want to wait another 30 minutes for a new pizza. After she delivered the pizza, she only came back to give us the check, no «two bites, two minutes» rule. I’ll try this place again because even though we didn’t get the right pizza(was craving a thin crus pizza all day), the stuffed was very good.

Have been coming to Juliani’s for a few years whenever we are on the south side to either dine in or carry out. Food has always been good. Good pizza sauce and ample cheese in the deep dish. Our visit last night let us down though. We were probably one of 5 tables there, ordered w deep dish & told it would take 30 min or so — which we expected. 40 min later it came out but was overcooked. Crust was cracked in two, parts on top were burnt and bottom of the slice was hard to cut through w/o enlisting the knife. For how not busy it was, I was a little disappointed to see such a common item on their menu get messed up.

This is my new favorite Chicago style deep dish pizza place! The cheese is perfectly thick and gooey without any greasy or hard nastiness. The sauce is a simple tomato sauce that really helps all the ingredients stand out. The crust is perfectly baked and flavored. LOVELOVELOVE!

Our golf club had a luncheon this afternoon catered by bill, everything was fresh, the salad was exceptionally amazing with olives topped with shaved Parmesan. The meatballs and chicken hot but not dry. Everyone raved over the delicious dishes!

One of my favorite places to go whenever I visit my family. Owners and waitstaff are all extremely friendly and efficient, bringing extra rolls and making sure we have refills. Starter salads are ample and their garlic dressing is to die for. Great variety in menu and portion sizes are huge! If anything, perhaps offering half servings at a lower price would be a good idea, but then again, having leftovers is never a bad thing. Their fish dishes are quite good too! Highly recommended for a casual night out,(although the balloon guy always panics me like a mariachi band at a Mexican restaurant.)

The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and all the menu items look delicious! I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It tasted pretty good – thin crust and generous cheese! I ordered a hot tea and received a mug of hot water and a Lipton tea bag for over $ 2. It was hard to get our waitress’ attention, so I only had the one mug from when we first got drinks until the end of the meal. She would drop off glasses of pop for my friends as she breezed by the table. The place was busy, but she never even stopped by after we got our food(which was after two tables who came in after us and also ordered medium pizza and received theirs before us). I can see why she was so busy, though. There were two large birthday parties in the dining room and she was the waitress for both of them. An accordion player played and sang happy birthday to both groups(not sure if this was restaurant proved or group provided) and then proceeded to play music for awhile… so much for conversation. There were also quite a few children running around. Since the dining room is divided, I began wishing the parties were on one side of the divider and regular customers on the other. Some people are okay with children running around a restaurant, but I think of that being more okay in places like Pizza Hut. I am not sure I would eat in there again, but if I knew I would be driving by I would consider take out.

My wife and I pass by this establishment quite often, and always make a mental note that we’d like to stop in and try it. We finally opened that mental notebook this past week and stopped in. I’m glad we did! We ordered a medium cheese/sausage pan pizza, and an order of the breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms were quick to appear. The order was quite large, and the breading was delicious. The pizza arrived soon after we had devoured the appetizer. The cheese was rich and gooey, as mozzarella should be. The sausage was perfectly spiced and liberally distributed throughout the pie. The crust was buttery, flaky, and wonderful. Service was top-notch. Our glasses never emptied, and our server was very attentive. We mentioned that it was our first visit, and in moments the owner was at our table saying hello. It’s nice to see that level of service! We’ll be back to try the other menu offerings soon.

Great pizza! I have ordered other items in the past, but their pizza is difficult to pass up. Their appetizers are prepared excellent as well. The nachos are tasty and prepared well. The staff does a nice job being attentive.

Saturday night and the place was packed! We were able to score a spot at the bar & honestly, I’m sure that was the best seat in the house. We were greeted by a very sweet bartender(Sue) and the owner Bill who was very accommodating. We ordered drinks right away & were greeted by a yummy bowl of olives and a basket of bread and butter. I sometimes am a little indecisive(especially when the menu looks awesome) so… we took our time, ordered bruschetta & chatted until I figured it out. This bruschetta has the makings of a traditional one, but with a twist… it was on cheesy garlic bread & was so delicious! My final decision was the baked mostocolli with meatballs. The hubs ordered lasagna. The mostocolli was good but the meatball was great. I mean so very delicious, I could just eat a plate of them. I tasted the hubs lasagna and that was pretty spectacular as well. All in all the meal was a hit. Great food, great people and nice ambiance. Check it out!

I like the place! I ordered pizza for delivery from here a few times and it’s always been consistent. Taste is subjective so I’ll try to describe the taste. Crust is thin and crunchy, sometimes burnt in places(but I like that), ingredients are all noticeable and compliment one another. A bit on the pricey side though. I’ve eaten in once and it’s a clean place with a friendly good looking waitstaff. Not gourmet food, but tasty classic Italian food. Not bad for a hidden gem in a strip mall in the SW burbs.

It’s 9 pm on a Saturday night. Parents, shouldn’t your little toddlers and tykes really be home in bed, rather than wandering around the restaurant, fidgeting, shrieking, and generally misbehaving like they’re at a 1st grader’s birthday party? You may enjoy this kind of «family» atmosphere, but some of us don’t, and won’t pay a return visit to establishments that provide it. Overall, a disappointing experience. I had to insist on moving to a slightly quieter area of the restaurant. It took too long and too much prompting to get served(though after that the server was friendly and competent). «Caesar» salad was romaine, too many croutons out of a box, and a side of fake«Caesar» dressing in a little plastic container. I came for the stuffed pizza, which a south side classmate had told me tasted like the OLD Giordano’s on 63d Street(before they became a corporate chain and the pizza went to crap). Sadly, I can’t agree. Way too bland, and sauce too sweet, though a decent crust. The one good thing was the $ 6 glass of very drinkable Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. If this is the best pizza and Italian food on the south side, as some here claim, it’s a sad commentary on how far standards have fallen. Sorry, Jullianni’s, I’m glad you’re popular, but I won’t be back.
