Coyote Ugly

Was super excited to go out on a cold Friday night while I’m in town but ummm $ 8 cover and there’s not many people in there? Me and my girl would’ve dropped $ 100 easily drinking but instead we went to Newby’s and paid no cover and there was so much more going on.

I seriously love this place! I went here for 3 days straight during my stay. I also stayed at the shores of panama so this place was super close by! The bartender greeted me as my friend and I sat down and offered to take a shot with us. After this he introduced us to all the other bartenders and told us to let anyone of them know if we had any requests. We immedialty felt like it was home there! This place seriously plays some great music as well, not to mention they have a mechanical bull! I mean can i get any better?! If youre going to Panama city beach go here one night, you wont regret it!

Must go just to say you’ve gone. If you dance on the bar you get free shots, free drinks are always nice when your trying to let loose. It is definitely entertaining. Few bartenders that can actually dance, but the service has never been bad. Recommend at least checking it out.

We were turned away because my husband had on an off white t-​shirt. We were both conservatively dressed. It was Tuesday night and the place was empty. REALLY? We would have spent $ 30 – 50 that night plus potentially returned on the weekend. Guess they dont need our money.

At all. And don’t even try to go in the bathrooms. Not a place I or my friends will ever try again. The one in Nashville is much better.

Rude waitress and lots of patrons. This place is dreadful at best. I’ll never go again. So many bad things I don’t even know where to start. Don’t go. if you have the option pick a better place to enjoy Panama City Beach.

I’m not hard to keep happy, in fact this will be only the second negative review I’ve ever written in my life, but I believe it’s completely warranted. If Florida is America’s penis then Coyote Ugly in PCB is an infected hair on its nutsack. It exceeded my lowest expectations. As an avid bar goer and bar manager, this is the worst bar I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting in my life. The underlying hints of racism and lackadaisical bartenders were just the frosting on a shit cake. The GM was the most unprofessional anus I’ve ever encountered. His primary objective in life is to make as many people as possible hate his guts. The one star that I’m forced to give is dedicated to one polite male barback. There are plenty of great bars in Panama City, this just isn’t one of them. Don’t waste your time, no matter how little you expect from this place it will let you down.
Also, nearly all of these positive reviews are from taxi companies with which they have partnerships. Don’t be deceived into thinking they’re average.

Watched a bartender pour liquids from the soda gun into empty liquor bottles. When I said something, he said he was making shots, but either way this is illegal. I do not trust this shady place.

Nothing more than a rat hole. The place is so filthy your feet stick to the concrete. There’s is nothing that can be said kind about this place until you’re half way through a bottle patron. And fof God’s sake do not eat the lemons/​limes !!!

Had a lot of fun here. Watched a guy get tied up and whipped while he took a shot. It was really entertaining. It’s 18 and up which was nice for my underaged friends. The dancing girls made me wanna dance too.

Caught the bartender trying to over charge money aka stealing. There is a big sign that says pineapple bombers for 6 $. I order one (first drink of the night but was with my husband and his 2 friends who have ordered several rounds of shots). She asked if i wanted to open a tab, i said no and gave my card. She charged me for 9 $. 3 dollars is not a big deal, but that is not the point. How many people does she do that too? I asked her doesnt that sign say the drink is 6 $ and she laughs and says «yes do you want 3 dollars back» very snooty like. I told her to keep the 3 dollars since it seemed like she wanted it and i even gave her a dollar tip but told her i wasnt stupid and saw what she was trying to do. She said nothing and didnt try to give me the money back.

Where to begin lol.
A good bit of my group came out for a night out and this was our last stop. We came here because L really recommended this place to have a great time at PCB since most of us were not down for clubbing. This place surely does not disappoint. When we first walked in, we saw girls dancing on bars, and so were some of the bartenders. And let me state that some of the bartenders are quite the eye candy lol.
Ladies, free shots all night every time you dance on the bar. The first time, I went up, I had a shot poured into my mouth, whereas the second time, I got a lemon drop shot :) not a bad way to get drinks, especially since some of the bartenders constantly asked me to get up there with them to dance :)
Penalty shots… I’d have to say, boys. Beware. They do not take it easy on you, especially with that whip lol.
We also rode the bull and that was an experience lol.
Overall, this place was the icing on the cake for our trip. Probably one of my best experiences in Florida this far, and having great company definitely makes it better.

Fun place if it’s your kind of scene. Yes there are girls dancing and it can get kind of wild but if you don’t like that why would you even come, much less leave a bad review? That’s what the place is about. We got $ 2 tall boy Pabts blue ribbon. My wife asked the bar tender for the best «bang for my buck» and got the strongest drink ever. It was all she needed for the whole night. There’s an attendant in the men’s room but not the women’s, not sure why. We saw a couple of dudes get atomic wedgies with their boxers cut with scissors by the bartenders, then spanked with a belt. Didn’t look like fun to me but there were dudes volunteering for it.
They need more places to sit inside. Very few barstools at the bar. BTW Hold your cup or it’ll get knocked over by the drunk girls that get up there and dance for free shots. Saw it happen twice.
$ 5 cover for Friday night. Good price compared to other clubs in the area.
There were plenty of taxis outside the bar. We paid $ 6 to go about a mile and a half back to our hotel. There were police cars in the parking lot when we left so if you’re thinking of drinking and driving, think twice. Just take a cab.

It is what it is. Drinks and girls dancing on the bar and everywhere in between. Patrons are a full cross section of ages and types. I give a five because I’ve been here several times and what distinguishes this establishment from others is the overall comfort level. 50yo fat dude dancing with 21yo hottie and it’s all just fun…

Bartenders/​waitreSses/​dancers? Flashed everyone while booty dancing on stage!?! Ratchet. redneck. Uggggh…

$ 7 for a rum & pineapple… with well liquor. Fortunately we all got 32oz of what seemed to be pure grain alcohol across the street at Pineapple Willy’s, which was not only a great idea but also a horrible one. It did make the night much more manageable and consequently very hazy — there was dancing involved? I got a phone number from a gay guy? And invited to a BBQ from a dude with a grill (yeah, a grill, yeah, yeah, a grill)? And I saw a guy so drunk he couldn’t stand up get slapped around by a cop and then shipped off to jail.
Overall, this place was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be, and no one ever likes that.

Super fun place with decently priced drinks and a very casual attire. During spring break and summer it does get very crowded, but still fun!

The drinks are expensive. The servers/​entertainers look bored. The bouncer/​door man was rude for no reason at all. There were very few people there last time I went and yet it still took way too long to get a drink. I don’t understand why anyone comes here at all. I imagine the name is the only thing that keeps this place alive. There are many more places in town where you can drink and have a good time.

This place is great if you want to see girls dancing on the bar nonstop. They give you a drink if you do, so there were girls strutting their stuff up and down the bar. I even had to pick up the drink I had just ordered so someone wouldn’t kick it over.
The bar staff weren’t attentive and the drinks were expensive.
We were lucky to find an open table since there were 8 of us, and it was outside, so that might be the only good thing.
I think the best term for the bar would be: meat market.
