Beautiful park, lots of big shady oaks, plenty of breezes, and tons of water to sit by and watch the scenes. Avoid when the mill is blowing that way.

Nice park! Plenty to do as there’s a dirt running/walking track, craxy huge playground, plenty of picnic tables and a nice pavilion. Has its own beach and there is a canoe/kayak launch in the back. Do not use the bathrooms here. Blek. Serious downfall. Otherwise great place!

A good place to spend time alone or with family. Has a dirt track for walking and running with obstacles for working out.

This a great park off the beaten path for most Bay Countians. It’s located on Highway 98 in Parker, not terribly far from the bridge to Tyndall Air Force base. Most who visit live on the east side in Callaway, Springfield, Parker, etc. There is a walking track ringing the park which is well-used. The main attraction for the kids is the huge playground at the center of the park. It’s made out of wood and has a lot of variety. Under the Oaks is on the shores of East Bay, which is a very peaceful and scenic area, with plenty of opportunities to see migratory birds and jumping fish. The park has recently been expanded to include a disc(frisbee) golf course which is something I’ve never encountered before. After watching a few players during my last visit to Under the Oaks, I want to try it for myself!
