The food here is about average for your typical Mexican-​American joint, and service is not especially fast even when the place is not busy. You’re far better off heading up the street a little bit to El Potro.
The salsa is mediocre, the Kids’ menu is utterly unimaginative (the adult menu isn’t much better), and you should avoid the bar altogether. The margaritas taste… odd. The $ 1 margaritas are that way for a reason, and if you pay a little more for a fishbowl-​sized margarita, you get more, but it’s still using cheap flavorings (my «strawberry» margarita had a strange color and tasted vaguely of cherry-​scented bathroom deodorizer, with not even the merest suggestion of strawberries.) If you’re avoiding the bar, don’t order the iced tea either, it’s also fake.
Also try and avoid sitting under or near the projector where they show futbol — It’s mounted using its own packing foam and could fall on your head at any moment.

Very disappointing. Got the fajitas, 3 shrimp, half a spoon of guacamole, everything somehow burnt but not cooked all the way and totally tasteless. Mistook the refried beans for hamburger. Jarred salsa and cheese dip, also tasteless. And it took quite a while to get this mess. Spouse got pork chimichanga, also had no flavor. People at next table got wrong food three times. One table left, loudly proclaiming, you guys are paying for our dinner… and…we just realized we never got one of the tacos!
