This little restaurant was perfect! Created at door and was taken to table of our choice. We first noticed the how well the represented Mexico. Meals were reasonable and the portions were extra large. They have a nice outside patio to eat in that is great. Their drink choices were large and cheap. The staff checked on us every couple of minutes. They were set up to take care of kids.

Our favorite restaurant in Paola! Excellent service and food. Free chips and salsa, and free first bowl of queso dip. Missouri Burrito is huge, and the special on Thursdays. Mondays have 99 cent tacos after 4pm… so get there early. Great patio also. And the Paola Burger is pretty good, too.

Good tex mex type food. Free queso dip with your chips and salsa? Ah, yes please. Good margaritas. Have not had had a bad choice from their menu yet. Cute outdoor seating with thatched umbrellas.

I tried this new place in Paola and was pleasantly surprised. It was packed, and that’s always a good sign. The spread at the beginning is great. They serve chips, salsa, salsa verde, and queso dip. I ordered a combo platter which included a chile relleno, cheese and onion enchilada, and pork tamale. All this food plus rice and beans for eight smackers. I was impressed, for Paola… The chile relleno was pretty good. It was heavily loaded with cheese, but otherwise very good. The rest of the meal was great. The seating is awkward with the kind of old style particle board booth seats. It was a little cramped and uncomfortable. The service was great and I think this place is a great alternative to the most horrible mexican place in Paola, El Crapatio or El Tapatio.
