Sonic Drive In

I am generally not a fan of Sonic. There is something about the buns they use that I just don’t like and the fact that they have charged me stupid amounts of money for a water for the pug. After seeing the commercial for the pretzel dog I decided to stop by on my way to the lake. I placed my order and when it was read back I could not understand a thing that was being said. The person taking orders was talking too loud with the mic too close to his mouth. I said I could understand him but the order sounded right which caused him to speak even louder, almost a yell, to repeat it again. Obviously this did not help and just came across obnoxious.
I was a little disappointed that the dogs came with onions. After checking the site I found that this is correct, but you really can not tell from the pictures. At least they were grilled and not nasty raw onions.
Sonic is always good for drinks (except charging stupid prices for water.) The variety of options is always an appeal to everyone.
One of the biggest things that annoys me about Sonic is after I pay with my card the car hop stands there for a second expecting a tip. I don’t tip the person at McDonalds or any other fast food place that hands me my food. Why they even expect tips is beyond me except that people have started this trend by tipping them. Please stop.
