I love this place and have taken artwork there to be framed for many years. The staff is knowledgeable, considerate, and helpful… and they care about their work. Their customer service is great, and they will give you tons of time and attention. It’s a low-​key, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere. I found their prices to be competitive with other shops here on the Main Line.

Well, this place is definitely old-​fashioned in every way, from the age of the employees to the fact that they don’t appear to have a computer, everything is written up by hand. It’s a wonder they even take credit cards!
I was assisted by someone who was quite knowledgeable, didn’t have much of any opinions, which was ok by me, I knew mostly what I wanted. The work that they did was topnotch.
My issues were in connection with the prices and the lack of disclosure about all of the various components of what I was being charged. In short, this place is very expensive. Does the quality justify it? I think perhaps it does if you have an original piece of artwork, but not for reproductions, posters or photographs. Save this place for your very finest pieces.

Stay away from this framer. I gave them a restored newspaper article that talked about my wife’s father and had a picture of her when she was 4 years old. I gave them 3 weeks to frame it. They waited until the day before I was supposed to pick it up. When I picked it up, they had sloppily and carelessly matted the frame too tight, so that you could not read fully the newspaper column on the right side because the matting obscured it. Even worse, the woman I talked to, Joan, denied a problem existed and claimed the framing was «beautiful.» They made no offer to fix the matting, and did not even make a good faith gesture to cut the bill. I walked out with a substandard frame job feeling I had just been hustled by careless framers who really don’t care whether they do a good job with whatever you give them.

I have had many items framed in this shop and everyone there is great, they are very helpful and you can tell they are truly interested in doing the best job for you. Also, good prices compared to their competition.
