This is one poorly run organization and that’s too bad because the idea is a great one. Better execution and it could be great. I signed up to pick up my first basket from the Papillion location and when we got there at the scheduled pick-up time, we were told it would be another hour before everything would be ready to go. Neither my husband or I could wait an hour, so we left. I was then texted later that day asking if I still wanted my basket or if they could donate it. I said I’d still like it and they told me that I could come pick it up at a location the next day that was about a half hour from our house. Talk about inconvenient. I had my baby shower that day so there was no way I could waste an hour going there and back. I e-mailed the company that following Monday and asked for a refund since I did not get what I paid for. I signed up for that certain location and that certain time because that is what worked. I couldn’t wait an hour which I think is understandable. I have yet to hear back from the company about a refund and I’ve sent them a few emails already. I wish the experience had been a good one, but it wasn’t. I definitely don’t recommend this program.

I really wanted to like this program. The premise is supposed to be fresh fruits and veggies that are locally grown. The items are promised to add up to 35 dollars worth of food for 16.50. I have participated twice. Both times, I received items that were inedible. The total cost of the items if I would have bought the exact same thing at the store averaged $ 13 – 15 bucks. The difference is I would have been able to choose items that were in good condition. The items are NOT locally grown but come with stickers ready to go to the grocery store. Some of the items were from overseas. This place is a waste of time and money as well as a HUGE disappointment. I tried emailing the director’s to ask why some items were bad and have received no response.

To participate the website is . This was the first time that Papillion was a delivery location which is extremely convenient for us. Large snowstorm slowed things a bit, but we were notified that there was a delay and the volunteers did a great job of getting everything organized especially in the face of this winter storm. For our $ 16,50, the following produce was provided… everything looked pretty good. 1. 1 Large head of cauliflower 2. 2 Small Broccoli Heads 3. 1 Bag of carrots(9 each) 4. 1 Pint of grape tomatoes 5. 3 Green peppers 6. 1 Head of romaine lettuce 7. 5 Apples 8. 4 Kiwi 9. 116oz container of strawberry’s 10. 1 Bunch of bananas(9 each) 11. 5 Oranges
