Everest Eyebrow Threading

Sad! The owner is nice, but all the bad reviews are true… I have been here 3 times hoping each time would improve, but the job was done terribly every time. The roach review is true, their crawling everywhere, she talks about being «the specialist» in the area, and owning 3 eyebrow shops, unfortunately the brows are not completely clean.
I will give her a plus for being quick, at the very least, but save your fuzzy brows for someone else: they won’t get done properly here. Reading others reviews, Personally I prefer to drive out to Hollywood brows in Southgate by SAMs club I wouldn’t go to Zibas… just a quick tip.

I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to drive to my regular threading salon, so this was the nearest place. I was a bit surprised about my whole experience here. Who has ever had hand sanitizing gel applied to your brows or upper lips before threading?! I came here just to get my upper lip threaded and the lady applied the gel. I asked her what is the gel for, and she told me that she applies it before threading. I was thinking to myself, «Duh?! I see that. I just need to know the logic behind it.»
You really can’t mess up threading the upper lip so I allowed her to continue. She did, however, do fine. As I was getting ready to pay, I noticed that the chair at the next station had dead roaches laying on its back. YUCK! Now I know she had to see all of that because it was a freaking ghost town in there. No other customers and no other threading technicians inside. After paying, she handed me a stamp card. «Naw lady, you can keep that, I am never stepping foot in this place again!

I normally go here to get my upper lip and eyebrows done and im always satisfied. BUT this last visit was HORRIBLE! Normally the young girl does my threading but I brought my mom with me this time and she did my moms face. For the first time the mom/​owner was there and convinced me to let her do my face instead of waiting for her daughter. They kept pushing us to get our whole face waxed for 25 dollars. When they were finished everything seemed ok until we got home and looked in the mirror with light. I still had half a fuzz mustache and a fuzz goatee lol. My mom had random bits of skin missing from all over her cheeks and under her bottom lip. She cant even use soap on her face right now. This happened yesterday. So today we went back and only the mom was there. She threaded my lip and my chin again for free. She tries to tell me that the skin ripped off my moms face happens to everyone and they need to heal a day or 2, as if im stupid and believe THAT! I told her we thread to avoid snatching skin off during waxing. So what she said makes no sense! Then i had to TELL her to give my mom a refund. She kept asking how much. I told her the whole 25 dollars! She wanted to give my mom back 15 because she wanted to charge her for the eyebrows and lip!!! I told her that’s unacceptable when u cause damage and pain to someones skin. She paid for a full face thread and now she wants to refund her only for the pieces she messed up on? Thats bogus! So after i went off on her she gave my mom a full refund! Then she turned into a total BITCH and kept saying «thank u have a nice day goodbye» over and over again. I just ignored her and left. Im NEVER going to this place again.

This place is horrible I stopped by and asked who does the best job the owner side the she would do it
But it was not good at all her hands was like a guy’s when she did it, it was very rough, was moving and she cut my eye brows straight off she also cut my skin it hurt so bad please please please please please please please please people save your eyebrows and skin I look so bad and it’s all because of her don’t go to this place I rather go to ziba in Stonewood mall DONT COME HERE!!!

Ive been going with them for two years off and on, sometimes I go to different places where ever is closer to me. But these passed few visits that iv actually talk to one of them have not gone so well. I went to the moms location and I actually told her the last lady messed up my eye brows she quickly asked why I didn’t go with her in stead, I told her I was in long beach so it was the closest place to me. She got upset when I told her I lived near by though. She started getting cocky telling me never go else where blah blah blah. So she started on my eye brows and messed both up. She was very rude tapped my hands and push my arms off of my face she was being rough and she cut my eyebrows multiple times. So I paid and left when I got home I noticed how off both eye brows were and thought «ok, eye brows are pretty hard to do not gonna bitch over this one time» so I went after two weeks (two days ago) and she was being all nice, my eyebrows just needed to be cleaned. She had no one in there but still she did them very rushed. Don’t know if she was in a bad mood or what was going on but I can a sure you I am not going back. Two times in a row and with that rude customer service, I rather pay $ 12 at the mall. She completely messed up my eyebrows leaving me with a bald spot and multiple cuts. She also cut off the corners of my eyebrows and left them bushy and long, they don’t look «fresh» at all and I feel that she did this on purpose. My cousin goes with her and won’t say anything but positive things about her. I don’t know if this lady is holding a grudge or she just don’t like me. But I will not continue to waste my money with her and I will not recommend her to anyone.

The lady here is horrible. She is so rude. She kept on pushing and tapping my face as it I was an animal. I told her that she was «heavy handed and that I will never ever go back here again.» She has no customer service skills.

HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY!!! My first time here. I have alot of fine eyebrow hairs the lady that was doing my eyebrow could not grab them and had to get yhe owner’s help who also could not get them, she proceed then to tell me there ingrown hairs and ask if I wax. I told her I always get my eyebrows threaded she ask where as if they are the reason why she can’t get my fine hairs, I said Ziba. She said oh well everyone threads differently. She is right, I never have a problem when I go to Ziba so I will continue going there only reason I visited her shop was because I was in a rush and they are closer to my house in Paramount than Ziba which is in Lakewood. Like the saying goes you get what you pay for. There cheap but do a HORRIBLE job.

I have been going to Everest since the doors opened. I love how she remembers her loyal customers and always remembers how you prefer your eyebrows to look. I have troublesome eyebrows and it has taken a year to fix them because they hardly grow, she always remembers where it is ok to trim and thread without me saying anything.
