This place is fantastic. The owners here are altruistic as can be! Really enjoy them. Very often, they offered my friends and I free donuts. Speaking of the donuts, they’re fantastic. Always fluffy, and delicious.

The smoothies are so creamy and good. My favorite is the Thai ice tea smoothie and the mango smoothie. Also the donuts are fresh.

Stopped in for a less sugar mango pineapple smoothie with boba and it’s creamy and deeeelicious… even on a cold winter’s night. The combined flavors and friendly staff remind me of Hawaii. The interior hasn’t changed much since my first visit and after four and a half years, it is still a nice family-owned donut shop where you can get yourself delectable, melt-in-your-mouth donuts, buttery and flaky croissants, hot cappuccino and cocoa, hot and iced coffee, yummy smoothies and shakes, banana splits, sundaes and cones, sandwiches and other snacks. There’s something for everyone. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in to K-Inn Donuts. They are open 7 days a week from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

One of my favorite… OOPS, my favorite donut shop in Paramount. Conveniently located in a not too busy shopping center with a couple trade schools, insurance offices and the famous Lucky Wok. Cheap and delicious melt in your mouth donuts that will have you coming back for more. Make sure you take home a maple bar if your sweet tooth can handle it. Yummy yummy yummy!!!

Due to worsening traffic on the 91, I’ve been trying different driving routes to work(in Long Beach). Lately, I’ve been taking Alondra and have found it a much better alternative to the 91. The other morning I was in the mood for a breakfast sandwich and saw K-Inn Donuts and quickly pulled into the parking lot. I walked in to find a somewhat crowded, small restaurant with 2 or 3 small tables. Behind the counter were two very young and friendly Asian girls with heavy accents. Initially, I thought they were Thai, but later I found that they were Cambodian. When it was my time to order, I asked for the ham and cheese bagel sandwich shown in the picture on the wall. The girl sensed that I wanted more, and suggested an egg, sausage, ham, and cheese sandwich. I’m glad she suggested the larger sandwich, because I don’t think I would have asked(since I didn’t want to look like a pig.) She then asked if I wanted black pepper, mayo, and mustard. I said only mayo. Then she asked if I wanted«salad». I furrowed my brow for a moment and then realized that she meant«lettuce and tomato». I said no. During all this, I was sensing a vibe from this cute girl. I felt a little flirting going on. Being a person without any game, I did not act on this feeling. She finished up by wrapping my sandwich and asking if I wanted a coffee. I said no thanks, since I had coffee at work. Anyway, I paid her, said goodbye, and walked out with my sandwich, leaving a young, nubile and probably disappointed Cambodian in my wake. I got into my car, quickly forgot about the girl, and prepared the sandwich for eating while driving. I finished the sandwich before reaching the office, completely satisfied by its tastiness, ready for my coffee. I am definitely going back to K-Inn to try the donuts and coffee and maybe some other«items» on the menu, if you know what I mean. ;-) Oh, who am I kidding!!! Nothing will ever happen… I have no game. :-((

Back on Maui… we used to see this donut truck parked around town. Everytime we pass the truck my Auntie would yell out(in her thick filipino accent) DONUT?! DO-NUT-EAT! DO-NUT-EAT! But this place is a DO-PLEASE-EAT! I got a regular perfectly glazed donut with the right amount of sweetness and fluff. My friend had the apple fritter and he says it’s probably the best one he’s had — crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. The iced coffee doesn’t work for me. I’m not a fan of instant iced coffee that comes out of a metal container that says«Kona Coffee» …too milky and sweet. It’s small in there and the décor is not appealing, but the service is friendly and the donuts are done right!

so i went in a couple days ago. i’m not sure if the one of the girls working there is a family member of just an employee, but she’s super cool. they ran out of the sausage croissant, so she offered to make me a new one, custom! she cut up the sausage into pieces, put cheese on it and warmed it up in the croissant. i so do love this place. I’m not a big sweets guy. Today though, faced with an upcoming day of hard labor, I figured I may as well carb up. K-Inn Donuts looks like your average strip mall independent donutery on the outside. I opted for the standard glazed and a cup of coffee. It was light and fluffy on the inside with a slightly firmer outer glazed coating. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The coffee was piping hot, and dark with a tang of bitterness that offset the sweetness of the donut nicely. $ 2 out the door, and with a smile on my face. Service level was friendly, and y’know… I think today is going to be a great day. At least it’s starting off on the right foot anyways. =)
