Lucky Wok

I am not a fan of chinese but Lucky Wok is great!!! We ask for habanero in our food & OMG it gives it a kick soooo darn good!!! All their food is great & employees are awesome!!!

so I’ve learned a few things living in LA (again)…Chinese food is usually pretty goddamned awful.
its either loaded with salt or its bland OR my fav… it has so much MSG in it… i’m bloated for 3 days after.
not with these guys… its been hit and miss with them I won’t lie, but here’s the deal…
the kung pao chicken is right on…
I believe they have a spicy shrimp soup…(i’m getting some of my last food places mixed up) if this is that place OMFG… so good… easily the best thing i’ve had here.
if its not the place… whoops.
the delivery chick was pretty cool too… and on time.
is it the best? Hell no not even close… but its good in a pinch

A long wait for terrible food. There is really nothing more to say, other than, don’t waste your money.

This place has some of the best Chinese food around. Its perfect for families with its large portions. I would strongly recommend the sizzling rice soup with the steamed dumplings. I am definitely coming back and getting this again. My first thought coming into this place is that the service would be slow and it would not be the best food. My last thought before leaving is that the service is great and the food is fantastic.

I placed a delivery order with Eat 24 for this place and I was very pleased. The wait time stated between 45 – 60 minutes but received my order by 30 minutes. The quality of food for the pricing is great! I will definitely return here.

Paid $ 34 for the lunch. I SWEAR SWEAR said we wanted a lunch special. I even pointed out on lunch menu when I order. But when I got bill I was shocked… This was my first time here so I couldn’t tell if it was dinner size or not. But the dumbass ppl there said it doesn’t matter if it’s first time or not lololol really? Plz. Learn minimum level of English first before u work in front of customer. I will never come back n food was an average but for the price, Hell no. I work at company around this area, and will make sure to tell my colleagues to avoid this place.

I love this place. Food is awesome every time. Staff is friendly. If you live close enough, they deliver for free.

Just ordered delivery for the first time ever (besides pizza) and it was a pleasant experience. The wait said 45 mins it was here in less than 20. I ordered the wonton soup with veggie egg rolls and a side of white rice. Those were the best veggie egg rolls I ever had and the soup was very delicious it had 3 whole shrimp 5 wontons and was chock full of chicken and veggies. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

The food was great and came in a timely manner even tho I ordered less than hour before closing. I totally recommend this place. Food was great service was great and time is even better !!!

Food is always fresh so its a little of a wait. But u can always call in… Broccoli beef is my favorite… And wonton soup

This place rocks! Super fast delivery & food is delicious! Recommend the beef chow mein & shrimp & noodle soup. All their meats are so good. 10 stars!!!

First time here came in for the lunch specials on Unilocal lunch specials start at $ 4.75 which is awesome I took the chicken chow mein with fried rice and egg roll flower shop in Lake little long time Right Strips they come to the table and serve you you get a menu the server Chinese lady very sweet very nice service was food was delicious I’m nice and cool in this air conditioner especially cuz it’s like 85 degrees outside they will definitely come again and bring my kids price is great here food is made to order and you won’t regret coming one more thing I forgot serving size is a big very cool for the price

The food here can be amazing – at times. There are times where I order a dish of rice and orange chicken, and the dish is spontaneous. Then, at other times, the orange chicken can be mushy. This is a repetitive pattern that the cooks here need to discern. Fortunately, this doesn’t happen as often, but then again, it shouldn’t happen at all.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star!
First of all, the place looks outdated, dirty, with clutter everywhere. Employees are rude as hell! They act like they are giving you their service and food for free. I went there last week, and the guy on the front saw me standing there ready to place my order, but he decided to pretend he did not see me, kept counting his receipts and talking to his kitchen buddies. He did not acknowledged my presence at all, not a single hello, eye contact, or how may I help you?, NOTHING! I walked out and fucker still pretended like nobody was ever there! Don’t spend your money with these assholes! There are better Chinese food restaurants in the area. Go to Zen Chinese food in Downey-​landing! Or Urban Chopstix those guys are super cool and friendly

Delivery is a god-​send for those of us who enjoy getting into our pajamas way too early in the day. It was also the first time I’d used the Unilocal app to order delivery, so it was a pleasant experience all around.
For a family of four, we ended up with way too much food and plenty for the hungry 22-​year-​old the next day, in addition to being super impressed with how hot the food was when it arrived. I would recommend saving a bit of money and getting the specials – it’s about half the price and I think would definitely be enough food for one.
On the menu for the evening was chicken chow mein, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken. Everything was fresh, but definitely not at spicy as we expected it to be. So if you’re feeling a little nervous about that «very spicy» radio button, go for it!

I’m not familiar with the area and was in the mood for chinese food. Therefore, I looked on Unilocal and found Luck Wok. This place is good; The good is prepared upon order. Also, the establishment was easy to find. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
There’s no sitting food under lights and the restaurant was clean during my time of visit.

Food is tasty. Took about 45 minutes. I called to order and still had to wait about 20 extra minutes. I live less than 10 minutes away. Beef is less than room temperature.
For $ 37, they could add another rib or at least fill the to-​go boxes a bit more.
While I sat in the restaurant, someone walked in to order and they got there food and left about 5 minutes before I did. Hmmm?
There’s another Chinese food place that I usually go to but I decided to try this out since I read great reviews. I’m not comparing them but I do think it’s a it overpriced and took forever and it’s not even hot.

This place is our favorite company lunch place. Their lunch special portion is good for one person and their price is awesome! It is around$ 3.99~$ 6.99. Above all, the best part is they do delivery! ** Please tip them to show your appreciation **
You need to call at least an hour before to make sure you have your lunch on time. Sometime it takes only 40 min or so, but I had one or two times when it took them more than 90 mins for delivery. They must be super duper busy. (We order more than 10 items per order, so we understand for delaying issue.) So, we like to call in advance to make sure we have our food on time.
I order at least once a week for our company, and we always love their food. Their Kung pao chicken and mongolian beef is must try menu. :) If you haven’t try them, please do so! You’ll love it.
Their walnut shrimp is also good, but the portion is small compared to other menu.
For the side, it comes with one spring roll and your choice of white or fried rice. There is no extra for fried rice option, but they charge extra dollar if you want noodle for the side option :)
I really appreciate this place and it is definitely one of our favorite company lunch place! :)

I see that this place has good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. It’s not much of a place with only 4 booths & a table but the lunch specials are pretty good. Orange Chicken, Kung Pao, Cashew Chicken, etc. Long story short this place is great for lunch all under $ 7:00
The only downside of my experience is that my side of soup was Luke warm & asked them to warm it up it came back the same. Good place.

I saw that lucky wok delivers quick so I ordered lunch at 11:40pm. When they took the order, they told me 15 minutes! That is quick… Or I thought…
30 minutes pass, no food. 45 minutes pass, no food. I called and they said they’re on their way. 1 hour pass, I called and they said they’re on their way. This was getting ridiculous but I gave them until 12:55pm and when they didn’t come, I cancelled the order. They showed up at 12:10pm. LOL. No thank you.
I live 0.6 mile away!!! It should not take that long. If I didn’t have a broken foot, I would have gone and picked it up.
