The shrimp burrito and fish ceviche are delicious! However, the server needs to work on her customer service. At first I just thought she was having a bad day, but when my visits became frequent due to the appetizing cuisine I realized that was her normal attitude. Overall, it’s a flavorsome meal.

What can I say! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid about 10 years ! I absolutely love the food here, might not be the best spot for large groups but still definitely worth it if you have a special friend you wanna show this secret spot to! I really hope one day they are able to expand because they have been here for a very long time and everything here is delicious! I highly recommend the mixtas and fish tacos they are my favorite thing on the menu. The cocktails are bomb as well, my dad always gets one!

This place is a hidden gem that serves really good seafood. It doesn’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own. It’s real good on prices the fish tacos are off the hook, the ceviche with Jaiba con camaron are really good. Whenever you need a quick fix this place hits the spot

I’m a really seafood person. I’ve been at most of all LACOUNTY seafood places and this one may be not the best or the most luxurious place, but the food is really good and they serve it super fast. Personally I really recommend this place. Also I am a really picky-person and this place is super clean and the ladies are not the most educated persons but they are ok.

Found half a roach in my food and told the owner, she tried to say it was the top part of a lemon and gave me attitude about it. She still had the nerve to charge me I rate this place disgusting!!!

I ended up at El Guero because Mariscos Guero in Long Beach was closed. This Guero was nearby and there were 3 reviews with high ratings so I figured why not give it a shot. Surprisingly, I was disappointed. For starters, the place had no windows, no A/C, and poor lighting. I had the fam with me, so I decided to take-out. My wife intended on ordering the mojarra, but after looking at their fryers she decided not to. So I order the jumbo coctel de camarones y pulpo(shrimp and octopus), fish ceviche, and shrimp ceviche to go. On the way home I stop at carls jr for the wife, and the kids decided to ditch the mariscos for some western bacon cheeseburgers and criss cut fries. I figure no biggie, more food for me. I get home, grab a tecate, and dig in. The coctel was not good. It Lacked veggies and the caldo(broth) was missing something, I don’t know what, but it was a little bland. I fix up the caldo with ketchup, lime, and a little tapatio, but I’m not feeling it. The portion was okay and the shrimp were cooked right. I sampled the shrimp ceviche and it was mediocre at best. I liked the preparation, lots of fresh and crispy red onion, pepino(cucumber), and cilantro. I should have posted a pic because it looked really nice. The colors were vibrant with bits of light and dark green, purple, and red. The down side was that the shrimp was over cooked in the lime. The shrimp turns hard and takes on a funny texture and taste when it sits in the lime for too long(8+hrs), it reminds me of string cheese. The fish ceviche was the best. Unfortunately it didnt seem fresh either because It was a little dry like it had been sitting in the fridge too long. The fish ceviche was my favorite though. All in all, the food was not worth the 25 mile round trip. The good news is that there is potential here. They have a good menu, they just need to tweak a few things here and there.

This place is tiny, but has super yummy mariscos. I love mariscos, so my boyfriend and I try a bunch of different spots. We got tostadas, shrimp tacos and fish tacos and could NOT stop eating… everything is super fresh and the fish and shrimp in the tacoswere battered and fried right in front of us. You can bring in your own alcohol, there’s a cute liquor store right in the shopping center we stopped and got beer, and then took it in. Super tiny but so worth it. Oh and lastly, very affordable both my boyfriend and i shared: 5 tacos, and 3 tostatdas de camaron for $ 13. My favorite mariscos spot by far! Tip the woman if you go, she makes everything and we watched a bunch of people NOT tip :(Oh and check i think it closes early too.

I don’t know how my co-workers found this place, but it’s pretty good. It’s very very tiny, the parking lot is made for baby compacts, fiats and mini coopers will fit comfortably, we ended up parking on Somerset because my Tahoe would not fit in any of the spaces unless I park in front of the dumpsters, I didn’t want a ticket. You walk into the place and it’s like stepping into someone’s kitchen, 2 ladies work in the back, 1 taking orders and the other making some killer deep fried fish & shrimp tacos, they make ceviche as well but I didn’t try it. The menu is in spanish and although you could make out some of the words, you’re a stranger in a strange land when you can’t speak spanish around here, they do post the prices. The lady who took the order spoke English, which was a lifesaver. She was very sweet and gave us extra limes and salsa when we asked for it. You can eat there, they have a counter and a small table, but without A/C I was about to pass out, so we took our goodies back to the office. I had 2 shrimp tacos and a fish taco, it hit the spot and wasn’t too heavy even though it was deep fried. The salsa was spicy, but very good. This is my new hole in the wall hot spot. CASHONLY
