Ughhhh i love this place its fairly clean and the condiments are always stocked, their chicken is soooooo good, i always get a chicken tostada salad thier customer service could improve

I liked this pollo loco but recently its been bad. They’ve gotten my order wrong twice. The first time they had run out of mac and cheese and had put mashed potatoes instead without letting me know. And the second time pretty much they same thing but substituted the mac and cheese for rice. And drive thru takes forever. I was waiting at the drive thru for at least 15 min yesterday for them to tell me that they ran out of chicken. I mean its called el pollo loco for a reason. Never coming back to this location even if its close to my home.

My husband loves the chicken only if it’s cooked right and not dry which seems to be the case many times and at different locations. But, the issue with the salsa bar needs to be addressed! Make a rule how often the bar should be cleaned and restocked across the board. The one thing I can say is the staff is very nice at this location! Three stars due to the salsa bar and leaving out my churros from my family meal. :(

I have been here many times, and every time I know the drive thru will take long, so yesterday I decided to get off, the wait was worse. I completed my order at 12:17 and walked out of there at 12:37… Once I realized the group of people I walked in with were gone, I asked the MOD why my food was taking so long, apparently the girl kept pushing my receipt order back:0/ ugggg it’s not rocket science, just process the order in which it is received. I hope they improve their efficiency skills!!!

This pollo loco doesn’t have the best customer service. First, you can’t understand what they’re saying when you order in the drive thru. Second, they get your orders wrong. Third, they forget to give you your drinks. Fourth, they take a long time to actually give you your order. I suggest you look for another pollo loco even if the drive is farther.

After having some really bad customer service experiences in Vegas, it was especially nice to have such great service from the drive through people here! It’s hit or miss on the wait time for all Pollo Loco’s I’ve been to. But last Friday, my order was ready as soon as I paid for it. The girl noticed I had flowers and a balloon on my seat and asked what they were for. I told her it was my 50th birthday weekend. She immediately beamed a genuine smile at me, wished me a happy birthday and then convincingly lied to me and told me I looked much younger. Bless your heart, little Drive-Thru Cutie!!! The order was correct, which is usual for this location and it started my B-day weekend off right.

Had the nerve to try to charge $.35 for a small container of creamy cilantro dressing… not as if they gave me one and this was the cost for an additional one… for the first one because I didn’t order a salad. For heaven’s sake… it’s a condiment. Stop trying to nickel & dime your customers!!!

The service there isn’t good and the employees are not friendly. I go there often because it’s closest tnt house and it’s always the same. Once in awhile you’ll get a friendly employee but that’s rare. I was in the drive thru for 5 min nd no one answered me. So I drove to the window nd no one came to help me so I left it was around 9 am nd it was open. So I don’t understand why no one was around to take my order.

I wanted to give this place 4 stars but the customers here are a pain in the ass. I never got any of my orders wrong and son’t run into problems here, but on several occasions I run into someone who is ordering things and have weird coupons or… just the worst case scenario happens. The variety of food is good though. Can’t beat that.

Slow! Slow! Slow! Did I say Slow? I would request to have El Pollo Loco be taken off the«fast food» chain. I just spent 25 mins of precious time waiting for my combo. Aside from slow service, they need to clean and wipe their tables down. Come on el pollo loco. I like your food. Please up your service.

PROS: only a block from where I live $ 5 will get me a meal that = fullness service is pretty good typical chain restaurant CONS: they never give you nearly enough salsa or tortillas when ordering chicken, be sure to ask for EXTRAS!

Worst Service Ever. I just asked to substitute my beans for rice in a family meal, First they said no, So i ask the manager, She said o.k. but they started speaking another language i don’t know what’s going on. My first thought was what’s the big deal, So i get home and all of my chicken was totally burnt, One of the drumstick was broken, Looked retarded. I fill totally disgusted now. Management needs to retrain all of these employee’s at this location.

Disappointed. They screwed up my order and gave it to someone else. I heard her call my name, I went to the front, she said«no, I didn’t call you.» Five minutes later, they call someone else’s name but she was already eating — my food! Really disappointed that everyone who ordered after me ate before me. Suggestion: Check the person’s receipts before you hand them food, it only makes sense. You save time, money, and upset customers.

After a long morning of rehearsal, we hopped in our cars and raced to the El Pollo Loco near Dominguez HS, with images of churros and flame-grilled chicken dancing in our heads. I ordered my usual twice-grilled chicken burrito, and it was possibly the best chicken, sour cream and guacamole I have ever eaten. Sadly, the frier was on the fritz, so there were no chips to accompany my delicious burrito. Not only were there no chips, but there were also no churros. Epic sadness ensued. We would have given the restaurant 5 stars, but with the lack of churros, we were forced to bump them down one. But despite the lack of churros and chips, this El Pollo Loco was by far one of the most pleasant eating locations we have ever visited. When we told the staff we were planning to do a Unilocal review, they even let us sit on the counter to take a photo.
